The Oregano Pizza in Croydon

Ordered out on uber eats and the delivery man was extremely friendly, arrived in the expected time and of course the food itself was delicious. Been going here for years after nights out or order it out on uber eats. Never had a bad meal from these guys

Dunno what's up with the wings waited 20 mins done in open oven and was like burnt and tasteless thick coating that wad burnt h ad to chuck in the bin

Ordered from here for the 1st time tonight. Will be the last. The food is horrible. Worst pizza I've ever had. Light on toppings, tasteless and like eating cardboard. Onion rings overcooked. Chocolate cake arrived still mostly frozen with ice on it. Really bad food. Avoid

This was my first time visiting and the food was amazing. Pizza is cooked in a proper pizza oven. I had the garlic meat lover pizza, in which the base is garlic sauce instead of a general tomato or BBQ base. It was cooked to perfection, with a good bottom to the pizza (a lot of places end up with a slightly soggy base), but this pizza base was perfectly crisp. The gentleman who served me was very kind and it also didn't take long to order or receive the food. Reasonably priced for the sizes you can get. Will definitely be going back.

Money taken twice and refused refund. Owner is impossible to get hold of and apparently nobody else can refund. Only work via an app and then they can blame the app for it. Would avoid!!

I love pizza but Dominos, Papa Johns and Pizza Hut tend to upset my stomach. Oreganos pizza is much cleaner and doesn't cause any of the digestive issues that the others do

Amazing shop best customer service in Croydon made a order before and they forgot to send cake mentioned in next order they sent the extra cake no question soeedy delivery piping hot food and amazing taste and value for money credit to the staff running this shop.... you've earned a loyal customer for life .. thanks oregano pizzeria..only thing I can say that's maybe me being picky I'd I only eat magherita pizza and love it with oregano being called oregano pizzeria I genuinely thought I'd get some oregano on my pizza lol .. next time I will ask other than that this shop and staff rocks

Best healthy pizza I had in my life. I was delivering furniture locally and was thinking to go Domino’s but I wanted a healthier option so thought why not Oregano I was so glad I did it was the best decision I made even my colleague was amazed at the taste. This will be my regular pizza shop also it only took 6 minutes to make.

My family order from here regularly so thought I'd give it another go. The first time I tried it, the dough was like cardboard. Sadly this time was not much better - tasteless dough, under proved. Altogether a bland pizza with tasteless toppings... and it arrived 45 minutes earlier than requested! Disappointing.

AVOID this place! I ordered from here with an estimated delivery time of 1 hour, I waited about 10 minutes after they were supposed to have arrived before I decided to call the restaurant and ask for an eta. A guy answered and I tried to explain the situation to him but he kinda cut me short and promised that it's on its way and should be there any minute, I said okay thank you. All in all I waited a further 40 mins whilst trying to call them 4 times with no answer from them. I have no doubt in my mind they had no Intention of delivering my order to me. Avoid these scammers at all cost unless you like your time wasted. Waited over 2 hours and they didn't even show up...pathetically unprofessional service.

Used to buy from here for over 10 years but in recent years the food has changed for the worst. Also, we have ordered from here recently and the food came mostly burnt with the pizza tasting funny. We phoned and complained to a man that was very rude but said he’d deliver another pizza that never arrived. Very disappointed and will not order from here again. Would give zero stars if possible.

This isn't sit down knife and fork in a restaurant pizza. This is night-in with beers in front of the telly pizza, done really really well. Always hits the spot. Way better than Domino's

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. We ordered directly from their website for collection. When arriving to collect, saw a flyer on their shop saying the price for the pizza we ordered was £6 less if collected. As we didn't get this offer, we asked why. We were told it didn't apply if you order on their website, only on the phone!!! Really poor. Was disappointed the offer wasn't honoured as we collected and it's quite a large difference. Was particularly bewildered to receive an email saying "thanks for your order on our website - now you won't have to order over the phone anymore" loool. Absolutely ridiculous. Hate businesses that try these little scams (we were even told that they couldn't honour the deal as they had to pay commission on website sales 😒). Anyway, suffice to say if you're collecting, order on the phone and beware the potential shifty behaviour! Pizza was ok (cold though and garlic bread was cheap tasting) but leaves a bitter taste when you just got hustled!

Waited 1hr 20mins for delivery staff on phone not helpful at all . I called 3 times to see where pizza was and told 1 minute away but it wasn’t When the pizzas arrived the boxes were soaked in grease the pizza toppings were almost non existent and dry not fresh at all Hardly any cheese or tomato sauce Would never ever ever order from this restaurant again

Has really gone downhill. Used to be a favorite of mine - not sure what has changed but it's somewhere I wont order from ever again. Food has a strange taste and smell (on the past 4 occasions) and is hit and miss on whether it tastes nice. The delivery drivers are getting more miserable and rude as time goes on - going off of the timeline, the next time I order I may just get it thrown at the door with a grunt. Hard pass, plenty of other places. Avoid is my advice

Ordered for a specific time, they came an hour early. We questioned this but they just explained they had other orders. They rang doorbell again the person’s manager had told them to take our food back, they would deliver again in an hour. Just rude. Food quality gone down, cheaper ingredients than they used to use and more expensive than before. Plenty of other better pizza places around we can go to next time.

so, I ordered from them through Just Eat and they were completely unhelpful with their listing. Practically none of their food listed what was in it, or any information, and what did, was untrue. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese which said it contained ONLY spaghetti,bolognese sauce and onions. Nowhere was cheese listed as an ingredient, neither was I given any opportunity to opt in or out of cheese. As someone who is lactose intolerant, this creates a bit of a problem. Their 'Healthy drinks' taste completely artificial. There is an option to call the restaurant, but the fact that cheese was not listed as an ingredient, means I had no reason to do so.

Possibly the worst pizza ive ever eaten. I wont even finish it and im starving. Ordered one with spicy meat, had to add my own chillies, the tomato base is disgusting. What a waste of £38. I will never evwr order from here again, that pizza not even worth 10p!

I have been ordering Pizza from Oregano since they first opened. Unsure exactly how many pizza, but about 10 per year. I ordered two pizza on Sun last week as I had some guests. Total value £29.98. These were overcooked, burnt on the edges, hard and crusty, just like a pizza the next day. Needless to day we did not eat them entirely and much was thrown in the bin. Once my guests left, I called Oregano for a refund. They offered £7. This was not acceptable. Any proper restuarant would give a full refund. I called them again to ask if they can provide a full refund. I'll never again to order from Oregano in Purley, and will put all my business towards another Pizzeria

We have ordered from here quite a few times, the meat calzone is always good but the pizzas aren't the best. They are usually overcooked and you hardly get any toppings. You are pretty much just eating pizza dough. The deep pan crust always seems too thin. Not worth the price.

Last weekend, early around 6pm I ordered their large not extra large, two pizza deal. One Hawaiian and ham and mushroom with peppers. It was the worst pizza I ever had, the Hawaiian was mostly cheese little or no ham or pineapple. The taste was terrible, I had to bin most of it and I’ll eat pizza hot or cold. The 2nd pizza was slightly better taste but still very poor and excessive cheese, tasteless cheese today I’m shopping around

Very bad service. Delivered pizza after 1 hour & was told it will be delivered in 20 mins. Pizza was undercooked. I ordered spicy chicken & they send me BBQ wings, on complain I got reply that "We are too busy". Driver didn't have proper change. I will never order again. Orerall 0/10

The Oregano Pizzas are pretty dam good, have ordered from here for a while now and in all fairness it has never let me down. Great taste pizza and well priced too, not too expensive. Just a takeaway service available at the moment.
