I ordered food to be delivered at 16:30. Order was placed at 15:00. At 17:20 the delivery has not arrived. I have tried to call the place but no one answers the phone. Very poor customer service which gives you a negative experience before your meal arrive. I will not recommend this place for delivery

From the outside you can easily walk past not aware of the treasures inside i know its called Perri Pizza but they do alot more than just that, they also do things like grilled fish, peri peri fish, peri peri chicken, bbq chicken cooked to good standard. Peri Pizza in Croydon, London road is the best for peri peri chicken in this area. Their chicken is tasty, dough balls are delicious and peri peri chips has the perfect spice. The staff are friendly on the phone too. Their signature sauces cannot be matched Prices are good, not overpriced like some places and the whole family loves this restaurant food. Even when we have guests down they love it!!

What's with the new price hike?! It's increased WAY too much! Used to be a regular but I do not fund greediness, so no more custom from me.

Peri pizza used to be so nice but they’ve gone down hill in the last year or so there base has definitely changed & the toppings are not as fresh they hold back on cheese as well.

I discovered this unassuming little restaurant 2 years ago and after tasting their freshly prepared and well seasoned food, I have become a loyal customer as the food and service is always exceptional and consistent. The staff are friendly, handsome men who always greet you with a smile. Highly recommend !

Very good shop. They sell all things from grilled chicken to pizza. Grilled chicken was juicy and full of flavour. Only bad thing was we asked for peri chips and didn't get is sadly but the chips were also still good. Boss was very friendly and kind and customer service was great. You can see staff making the food in front of you which is a nice experience

I love the pizza from this place. It's a hidden gem. Pizza with periperi topping! I used to order from here on a weekly basis when living in Croydon. I now have moved out of London. But, whenever I pass by Croydon. I ask them to half cook at least 3 vegetarinas for me to freeze and finish of at home over the month. You won't regret the pizza here!

After waiting 35 minutes, they cancelled my order. Unreliable.

*VERY VERY POOR* The customer service at peri pizza is absolutely disgraceful. I have contacted them on two separate occasions to complain about my order being wrong and they have proceeded to tell me that I did not ask for what was missing in my order. The person who is on the phone is VERY rude and insulting... he is always making excuses for his Mistakes. I will NOT be ever ordering from them again!!

Paper thin base that was over cooked , full of green chillies ( look at pic) and was way to spicy . Price is good (£5 collection ) but i wouldn’t say this place is about that “good” pizza 🍕. First and last but the lad taking my order was very helpful and friendly so thank you ...

Shared a lunch meal with a friend - £6.99 for medium pizza, chips and coke. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, the food was lovely and at such a bargain! Staff also gave us 2 glasses to share the can of coke :) I would say the glasses and cutlery could do with a little update as they looked pretty well used but overall I was really impressed

i used to visit here regularly, but some time ago they ve put the prices up and food taste went down. i ve stopped going. last month visited again, and the old staffs are back and the food is great again. this restaurant can make some pizza spicy which is great for us.

Ordered Pizza nearly 2hrs ago... Keep phoning and being told "It's on it's way, it left 10mins ago!" then they said "We'll it's quite far & it's raining." Google maps says it's 17mins away not 2hrs! Just arrived & it's Cold!

To be completely honest with you, if you are looking for a really good pizza, you are definitely in the wrong shop! Their Pizzas are greasy, the crust is not great, and the cheese just isn't the quality that you would find at a Pizza Hut or Dominoes. However, there is something about it that makes you always want to try it again. Their chicken dishes are a cheap and cheerful spin on Nando's and on their day, it tastes even better than their Portuguese counterparts. In fact, you will be hard pressed to find a better chicken burger anywhere else locally. When it comes to preparing fish dishes or salads, Peri Pizza is probably one of the best restaurants in Croydon. The salads are huge and come with an accompaniment of freshly baked dough balls which add a nice variety in terms of the mixture of textures and flavours. I think their grilled seabass is my favourite, but the mackerel isn't bad either. The other thing worth mentioning is their spicy rice which would be better described as seasoned rice since there is nothing spicy about it and to be fair recently, I have noticed the absence of the finely chopped sweet peppers that use to be present in it. Above all else their chocolate cake is really good but due to the amount of food that they serve, only someone who eats incredibly large portions would be able to enjoy a slice of cake after meal at a Peri Pizza. I think as a business they are victims of their own success. They’re just too busy these days and this has impacted on the level of service that they are now able to offer. Don't get me wrong the food is still good but it just isn't as lovely as it used to be. Saying that, I still eat there at least 2-3 times per month on average but that’s partly due to the lunch time deals that they offer.

Terrible customer service heads are stuck up their back sides- are not willing to listen to what the customer is actually saying. Their cheese drops off their pizzas the minute you lift it up! The pizza was thin as a paper when complained about it told me this is how they come!!! All staff likes to get together and gang up and get all vocal BUT NO ONE LISTENS TO WHAT THE ACTUAL COMPLAINT IS OR LIKES TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. Waited over 30 mins for a burnt base ! And on top of all this got told we are banned- AVOID PEOPLE

Quick Delivery During Peak time approx 30-40mins Went for a large peri peri base pizza was better then I expected ! Will order again in future Definitely recommend !

I have been ordering food with them from last 4 years. friendly staff until one staff got rude over the phone for me asking him to change toppings .. there has been number of times where they have not followed instructions where you ask them to put desired topping but they will end up forgetting it and since you have waited for almost and hour extremely hungry you tend to eat and ignore.. many times i have witnessed pizza was burned underneath and went back to get it changed once guy gave me someone else onion ring instead of potato wages and i had to go all the way back to store.. well this time, i so tired and wanted to order pizza guy over the phone Sajan didn't sound pleasant and was patience told him to change two toppings and he kept saying tell me what topping you want ... but didn't want to listen to what i wanted to remove as i had bad experiences on number of occasions where they still ending up putting what i asked to remove.. i asked him many times to listen but he insisted to just tell him what topping i want that put me off and i told him let me come to speak to you in store and asked him his name he completely ignore my question and hanged the phone aggressively. i went to restaurant this guy did't want accept that he gave me bad customer service and he got joined with his colleague Arora who did't sound interested to listen to my complaint instead wanted to get rid of my by taking my order ..did't listen to me and kept telling me that he knows what i am trying to say.. eventually he told me lets take order and i will deliver as other guy didn't want to deliver anything below £13 now order came up to £10 and now they didn't want to deliver for that price.... this is really bad customer service where guy doen't listen to you when you come to store they team up to protect their fault and not giving customer appreciation for coming in and making complaint for what they can improve their customer service.. so they did't want to deliver and i was not happy so i asked both of their names and asked if i can see manager guy Arora did't seem to know where is manager or if they have manager... told me to go and come back as they are very busy... i had to return home hungry without any food.. not going back to them and will stop my family friend to stop spending money on this shop where customers are not cared at all.. so bad so bad so bad.. really disappointed..

The peri peri chicken burger with medium sauce and mayo with cheese added is probably the most tasty thing I've tasted in the last few years. Definitely recommend it!

HE REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND because I'd thrown it away (I told him he could have my rubbish bin and pictures and inspect it for himself which he refused). He then started to insult me and called me disgusting and a child. I shall definitely be contacting environmental health about this but urge customers not to get food here. They obviously don't clean and prepare their food properly and have no respect or accountability to their customers.

Its hit or miss with peri pizza but definetly try the special box contains chicken breast peri style wedges and fresh garden salad for £5 is a nice change from the normal pizza for takeaway. Portion size is good. People on the phone are always very rude so just order on justeat to save hassle

What a great experience for first time visit! i keep hearing peri pizza is the place to be and is great value for money most of all the food is prepared in open plan kitchen. Today's Peri peri half chicken tender succulent chicken ,salad drizzled with dressing with cherry tomatoes i could eat solo they were that nice the rice cooked to perfection light texture, coleslaw was not what i expected as I can be very particular amazing taste rich creamy consistency combination was great dough balls are soaked in milk portion better than zizzi & pizza express. Customer service was impeccable considering the staff were extremely busy with being part of the just eat app had great acknowledgment of myself which is rare in most food restaurants i recommend dine in than delivery it was extremely packed so to get a seat was a bonus thankyou guys! My meal included a drink choice of chips, rice or doughballs @ £6.99 doughballs £1.75 I will be trying the sea bass next can not wait!!

If you expect professionalism this is not your shop. They are very rude, they speak to people in a rush, if you have a disability that prohibits you from speaking quick Do Not Call! They will not have the time to cater for you... You were warned please avoid!

It's ever so slightly more expensive than the other non-chain pizza shops around Croydon but it is by far the best one out of them all.

Tried here for the first time and ordered takeaway pizza, chips and chicken wings. Pizza and chicken were great but not the chips. They were cold and very soggy. Thought staff could be more welcoming on the phone.

I've had take it's from this place for some years now. From lots of places in fact but this is the most consistently excellent of them all. Just sometimes I fancy a curry so I go elsewhere.

Disgusting, Rude, Childish, Abysmal Behaviour!!!!! I have introduced over 30 people to the shop over the past 10 years and had built a good relationship with ever other member. last week I even left the shop without paying as they forgot to charge me and i came back and reminded them of the unpaid for food. I am a loyal customer! I am so angry that i cannot react because it would be completely out of character. how DARE YOU!!!! I have been going to this place for over 10 years and never have i had an problem with any of the staff members until now. 'NEW MANAGER' he says. half the age of the old managers and has half the mind, maturity and customer skills. The arrogance of not understanding a customer has ended in him banning me from the shop. I am absolutely out ranged . I did not react in a negative way simply because i have respect for the other workers. I ordered rice and ask for extra peppers to be put in, I said can you put it in a container and i'll do it at home because i am in a rush. he said NO! then said he's going to charge me fore using my card (as per usual) however i said well no since i'm not allowed what i've asked for. then he said i have to pay for it i responded ok whatever can i just have the extra papers!!!!! The other workers understood and gave me what i asked for. he is arrogant because theres not even an understanding that theres a language barrier! I will be going back next week when someone with sense is in the shop and will discuss, because I use this place regularly. the food is great he makes the service discussing!!! honestly I can't stand his ways. theres a lot of growth that needs to happen with him. he needs to grow immensely! i think he brings down the value of the shop

So, the chicken aficionados out there will probably be blue in the face from reading the review title; however, I really do think the chicken at this place gives our faux Portuguese market leaders a run for its money. Ok, so their sauce may be a little sweeter and not at tangy as the big 'N' but you pay a lot less for a full chicken here! I've never eaten in and always get delivery, which is usually very prompt. The pizzas are also ok and it's only on these that you get the special offers (not really on the chicken). What lets them down is the sides. Spicy rice, for instance, is just Indian style Pilau with some chopped onion and pepper sprinkled in. Also the salads and coleslaw are pretty unimpressive.
