Fireaway Designer Pizza in Croydon

If can give this store a 0 star I would but there's no option. I ordered the 'viral dubai pizza' last night from Thornton heath's fireaway. I was so excited to try it as I kept seeing it on social media however, upon opening it this is what I saw. The picture from their advert vs. what I've got. They literally just dumped the pistachio toppings on the top and drizzle some chocolate thats it. They didn't even spread the toppings. The pizza that I received was far from the pizza that they were advertising. I called the store straight away after opening it and the guy told me that, that's how they make it and was asking me what I wanna do about it. I spent £20 for 2 pizza's just to get this.

I've been with my son's 12yrs old he ordered a carbonara and I ordered a pizza . Pizza was standard quality for the UK . The pasta carbonara smelling like washing up absolutely expired(who made it should eaten not my son ). So don't go there and order any pasta dishes you'll finish to Mayday Hospital intoxicated I'm telling you. They even not refunded me the cost of the carbonara . I'll never back again .

Food turned up cold. Called the shop and was indirectly told I was lying. First and last time I will be using this company again. Customer service at its worst.

Disappointed with branch in Ashford Surrey. I have ordered food for my family at 15:50 with estimated delivery at 16:50 which was ok with us but our food arrived at 17:35 when called the store a person who answered wasn’t interested in hearing my order number just said our order is on a way but it wasn’t clearly as we finally got it 20 minutes after the call and we live 5 minutes drive from the store. The meal was meant to be an award for my son for his karate grading but wait was too long for him so he had something I made him at home.

The lovely People of bideford make a really big deal of this place but it's average to poor! I come from a place where the choice of food and quality is wayyyy higher!! . For those that have actually left bideford see what lay beyond will no what I mean

The pizza was totally tasteless I've had better shop brought ones like crosta & mollica £6 and it's lovely I only got a takeaway because my sister wanted it £40 I think you rip people off with this No flavour what so ever

We were stopping in a local hotel for a weekend at the theme parks nearby. Saw this place on Google maps, the staff were lovely and polite. Asked how our time was in the area. The food was outstanding. Place is beautifully clean and they prep your pizza in front of you. The pizza oven looked cool too, watching the flames at the back. Definitely worth a try. Great prices too

The three of us were at Fireaway in the evening and ordered 5 'sides' to share. The portions were large and the price was absolutely reasonable (we paid £11 per person). The cheesy garlic bread is highly recommended, but all the dishes were extremely good! We had 2x Cheesy Garlic Bread, 1x Avocado Salad, 1x Chicken Strips and 1x Potato Wedges

I go to this place in Streatham every fortnight with my two boys. The pizza is amazingly tasty, well done to perfection and I usually have the chicken wings well done. The boys love it hence we had been going on for years now. I don't understand all these bad reviews. We were there last sunday and a girl came by and told them she had been served a pizza with cheese that apparently she does not eat, told them she landed in hospital, etc and threaten them with a bad review if they don't give her a pizza! They were polite and refused. If she is allergic to cheese, why did she eat it anyway and complain after a week? Lots of losers around. My honest advice is that they are very good people and their pizza is tasty. Period.

Worst service ever!!! ordered 2 pizzas, they delivered the wrong pizza, with pineapple on it and I hate pineapple on pizza, I picked it off and started eating it and realised it had hardly any of the topping that I ordered. rubbish pizza. then I called them, OMG!!! what a bunch of buffoons! can't even communicate properly, kept asking the same stupid questions. very poor communication. then put the phone down on me. disgusting!!! this is the second time and last time, the first time the delivery person was rude. don't bother ordering pizza from this place, you won't get what you ordered and poor service on top.

Expensive for it’s size but a really good pizza, no waste and every piece a pleasure.

Food was cold and no drink arrived.

Pizza was luke-warm when it arrived and quality was not great. I ordered mushrooms as an extra for £1.50, there were only a few pieces of mushroom on the pizza, very disappointed, wouldn't order again. On the bright side it did arrive in good time.

I dont think this look like pizza its so hard to chew and meat balls are like 5 to 6 on whole pizza i think quality is not good

I’ve been going here almost 2-3 times a week while I’m doing a construction project and I must say it’s great value for money there lunch time special fills u up and is very tasty ! Only thing I would say is if they where attentive to the phone but other then that amazing place and amazing food

I watch the delivery guy on map go to 2 other stop beforexminecand went past me go to his 2nd stip called shop didn't care blame just eat this shop was good shop food gone down hill service where my money food arrived stone cold ur a joke

It tastes so cheap but costs so much, I can't recommend this over any local pizza place where you'll get more, better tasting pizza for less money. It arrived cold and squashed and without one of two sauces. Even after heating up in the oven, I haven't had a take out pizza this bad in years. Pepperoni looked and tasted noticably cheap...in a pizza place.

Asked for table for two. Sat at a table. Waited. Had to get menu from another table. Waited 15+ minutes. Tried to get attention. Only two other customers seated at another table. Still no service. Waited some more. Walked out.

My order was picked up and driven to a completely different town miles away. My delivery time says it was on time because the time kept going up and up. By the time I got my food it the paper bag is wet and the food is cold and soggy. Really unhappy haven't had an experience like this and it isn't the restaurants fault it's your drivers fault.

Please don't order any food in here.It's absolutely joke. I order a pizza with 2 items and is charged me £13.95 But pizzas on a menu with 3 items are 11.95.It just does not make any sense. And the pizza is not even cooked under

was cold when it arrived don't think it was restrant but the driver taking over half hour to deliver I watched the app all the way and he went to Bedlington that's 3 times further to the restrant than my house

I recently tried Fireaway Pizza in Thornton Heath and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Surprised how bad the pizza was

It was a take away pizza wich take 1 hour and half to arrive, topping was wrong and tastles and when i did contact the restaurant in relation my order due to long waiting they were rude and incompetente and did not offer any support.

Absolutely banging food and the delivery guy was spot on so couldn't be happier on my 1 night in London!

The pizza arrived luke warm and under cooked, I asked for double pepperoni which I paid for and did not get. the pizza from here is either over cooked or under cooked, this is the last time I'll be ordering from here, I've given this place too many chances.

Well, our hopes were dashed. We really like M2 Pizza, just down the road. Unfortunately I have to eat gluten free now, so we thought we’d give Fireaway a try. All three of us felt that their pizza was a bit rubbish. To be honest, they were totally lacking in flavour and tasted like a frozen pizza from a supermarket. I’d suggest going to M2 down the road a bit or literally saving yourself a few quid and getting one from Waitrose.

Food arrived so quick that it cannot have been freshly cooked. Also was luke warm. Not the usual standard I receive

DO NOT ORDER. Delivery driver could not find address, stood outside the wrong address for 10 minutes while saying on the phone ‘I am outside’ while we were stood outside our house saying no you’re not. Asked to send our location on WhatsApp to find us. Driver arrived another 10 minutes later accusing us of lying and putting the wrong address. Declined the food. No service or support on getting a refund, told to go on the website. The website doesn’t work. Called to ask for refund they said they’re too busy. No dinner. Money stolen.

Tried to order a pizza. Driver was at the wrong address and told me he was at my house and I had put the address in incorrectly. We spoke to the restaurant and about 20 minutes later he arrived having been on the wrong road. Advised the restaurant we want to cancel the order and were told it would still be ok. Asked for a refund and told to use the website. Went online and the website isn't working. Rang back and told they are too busy to deal with my failed delivery and refund. At this stage, I don't know whether I will get my refund and, sadly, I don't expect I will see my money again

The driver didn't read my observation saying the intercon was broken and to ring me before arriving in the building... He rang my neighbour who was sleeping and woke up to complain while I was getting the order. TERRIBLE situation!!! Never more!

The driver couldn’t talk a word of English he even called saying he not speak English a 2-1. My address is 21. I appreciate a man’s gotta work but at least no basic English and no how to follow a Tom Tom.. Now my food is stone cold.

Came here today for the first time. I was served by Mo and he was lovely, great customer service. The food was incredible. Would definitely recommend if you are thinking of trying it out just do it😍

Service here was impeccable and well catered to my needs, very suitable and understanding for allergies. Good music, lighting and ambiance within store. The food is served piping gory and made with care that you can see whilst being made. I would strongly recommend and be a frequent customer as i am a new local to the area !
