What a Dump when Bob was there Fantastic Now it’s closed because of Covid But not fit for purpose even when open it’s a click place to meet not a welcome cafe anymore 😡

Warm and welcoming...would recomend a review of the pricing structure when it comes to beverages...slightly too high in line with establishment...Would reccomend in a heartbeat...great Community Cafe.

I was visiting Hampton Magna to see a good friend of mine Neil who took me to the cafe for a bite to eat. The cafe was full of single mums with noisy kids that were running amok. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast and a cup of tea. What do I got served was rubbery eggs on a single slice of toast that was so burnt that it could have passed for a roofing slate. The cup of insipid tea fared no better. I took the items back to the council and the person that serve me took offence at my complaint. Claiming I was the first person to complain since the cafe opened and the food was cooked in a way that regulars like. I can only say their regulars must have no sense of taste or smell. It was while I was at the counter that I nearly tripped over one of the many kids that was running about. I certainly won't be going to the cafe again, unless they improve their standards.

A friendly, basic cafe offering a warm welcome & good coffee & cake. Perfect for relaxing with your children on a miserable day when you don't want to travel into town. Food is plain & simple but adequate. My daughter loves playing on the wooden train & with the various toys.
