The Olive Grove in City of London, Westminster

Excelente para una comida en Londres, cuando necesitas descansar cerca de todo, definitivamente volvería a este lugar

Nunca cometa el error de ir al baño aquí o la anfitriona se arrojará frente a la puerta y amenazará con no dejarlo salir. Estoy de visita desde fuera de la ciudad. Hoy hice un recorrido a pie y busqué desesperadamente un lugar para usar el baño. La anfitriona no estaba en la puerta cuando entré, así que bajé para usar el baño. Cuando fui a salir y reunirme con mi grupo antes de que se fueran, la anfitriona había puesto su brazo entre mí y la puerta y no me dejaba salir. Le expliqué que necesitaba urgentemente un retrete. Ella dijo que debería haber preguntado antes. Y a ella, digo ahora como lo hice entonces: sí, debería haber preguntado y habría estado ella alrededor. Pero lo que hizo al colocar su brazo entre mí y la puerta es la forma más rápida de no obtener mi negocio NUNCA. Hubiera sido igual de fácil, y mucho más civil, decirme que por favor pregunte antes de ir, sin necesidad de bloquear la puerta como un niño. Londres es mejor que eso. . . .

Este lugar es simple La comida y el servicio a un precio razonable y sabroso fue excelente. Los niños compartieron una pizza que les encantó y yo tenía un plato de pasta y gambas. Buen pequeño descubrimiento.

Situado cerca de la Plaza Trafalgar pasó por lluvia y para una comida temprano en un sábado por la tarde. No tan lleno, así sirve rápidamente. La comida estaba bien, pero una pizza parecía había sido en el horno a largo, muy crujientes, ya que el otro necesitaba pastoso. Plato de pasta estaba bien pero un poco sosa. El servicio era bueno y no muy caro para Londres, pero esperaba algo mejor en la comida.

Nos encontramos completamente por accidente, buscando un lugar para comer tarde por la noche. Desde el momento en que nos preguntamos si todavía estaba abierto a las 22. 30 hasta el momento de la izquierda era como comer con amigos el servicio fue excelente, la comida era genial. . Tuve que pedir pan para secarlo la salsa con mi mejillones entrante era tan buena. . Pequeño y encantador restaurante de cadena ninguno. . Comer fuera como debería ser divertido y relajante comida buena. .

OLIVE GARDEN MARTINI! It's a Martini shaken with olive oil in it.... I know it sounds strange but it VERY good. I can't stress this enough; it was the best martini I've ever had and I think I ordered 4 myself and the other guest I was with ordered 3 as well. The fish entree was great as well, only reason why I am giving this restaurant 4/5 is the menu. I have been to about 5 restaurants of Ramsay's and I was surprised by this menu. Very cluttered and the font was not easily readable. I REALLY hated the menu design/readability. very surprised about that but of course didn't let Ramsay's quality of product not shine through.

Needed someplace to eat before watching a play nearby, so went here since I'm a fan of Italian food. The place was mush smaller than it seemed from outside and it was hard trying to manoeuvre between tables, waiters and chairs. It was very darkly lit and we could hardly read the badly made menu, but the food was quick to arrive and the waiters quite friendly. The salad was very basic, just a couple of salad leaves thrown together hastily, and the calzone was quite plain with little flavour other than tomato sauce. My spaghetti bolognese was also quite bland, although it definitely wasn't the worst I'd ever had. This was more a place to go to just quickly, we weren't really looking for high class dining exactly, but it would have been nice to come away with something more memorable.

This restaurant was a delightful find! The pizza was delicious, and the service was warm, friendly and very fast! We'd go back in a heartbeat.

Called in here there were 2 adults, 4 kids. All very happy with what we chose. Good service, friendly staff enjoyable atmosphere. Reasonably priced for London. Good quality pizza's and decent sized portions.

My wife and I stopped in here to have dinner before going to a nearby theatre. It was a Monday evening at about 5:30pm and we found the restaurant to be quiet as we got there, but it got busy while we were there. The food was very good, prices were reasonable, to the point of being a little under what I anticipated paying in London. The service was spot on, not too intrusive but just attentive enough that we were never waiting for more than a few seconds as we finished each course. If you're looking for an early evening meal before a theatre performance I would definitely give this place a thumbs up. It's right next to Charing Cross station too, just across the river from Waterloo so handy for folk coming into town on trains. Might be wise to try and reserve a table for evenings later in the week as it was almost full by 6pm on a Monday night.

Great food, great location, great price. We tried the burger, pasta and pizza and they were all great.

Located next to Charring Cross station this was a good stop for lunch after arriving by train. Soup, pizza and salads were very tasty and service was good. Reasonable prices.

Visited this restaurant last year and it was excellent. Couldn't wait to come back but what a disappointment! It has changed hands. Toilets very poor. In desperate need of some bleach! We ordered 2 drinks, both were flat. Garlic bread, if you can call it garlic bread. Pizza undercooked and tagliatelle just warm. Had to ask for black pepper which i thought was pretty standard in an italian. It was cash only.....hmmm Told the waiter about the raw pizza, which we left and he just said 'sorry' Too busy pulling out their mobile phones and completely disinterested in their customers! Will not be returning!

We have visited this restaurant several times, first called the Ville La Piazza and now The Olive Grove.  It is in Villiers St, close to the Embankment Tube Station. Monday to Friday you can get a very good deal, £8.95 for a two course meal. It is a proper Italian restaurant with kitchen prepared and cooked food, passable house wine and coffee. Fresh soup, pizzas, generous bowls of pasta, steaks etc.. The interior is pleasantly plain and has a slightly rustic feel to it. The food is good but the service can be a bit idiosyncratic at times. One oddity is they often say that they only take cash - but they do have a card machine and use it, so don’t be put off. Do go to the lavatory down the spiral staircase, if no more than to experience the very hot and but underpowered hand dryer! We certainly have no qualms in recommending the Olive Grove as great value in Central London.
