In a nutshell: just brilliant! Food is outstanding. It's fresh, healthy and the cakes and specials are home made. It supports the community and is really friendly. Really recommend 😁 very vegan/veggie friendly.

This charming little cafe, set in a lovely old school building at one end of the rather industrial Old Wolverton Road, is easy to overlook. I have passed it many times in the car without knowing it was there but, on this occasion, I had left my car at a nearby garage and stumbled on the cafe during a short, time-killing walk. The small dining area - clearly once a classroom - is clean, bright and airy with views onto a small but pleasant garden, bristling with well-stocked and well-attended bird feeders. Investment in local wildlife and nature appears to be one of the purposes of this community-minded establishment. There are also posters and leaflets referring to work done with young people, disadvantaged people and people wishing to learn arts and crafts - I believe some classes are held in other parts of the old school. Some very reasonably priced arty/crafty souvenirs are on sale around the cafe, such as paintings, jams and pickles, scented candles and Old School Cafe mugs. As you might expect from people working in such an environment, the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Food and drink are also inexpensive. I am not going to pretend it is top-notch fayre but it's tasty and well-presented and overall, for me, brunching in this bright, cheerful establishment gives a far more enjoyable experience than many a more gastronomically ambitious set-up!

We were staying in the The Old School House so came to the cafe for lunch. The food was excellent, homemade and fresh. The service was friendly and accommodating will be coming back!

Brilliant place if you want to relax in tranquility with a very good coffee. I had a wonderful experience today at the Old School coffee shop in Wolverton, The lady manager and her lovely daughter were very friendly and so welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit. Really nice place, went here with my wife and little one after a sign language class. Lovely way to spend a day off from work!

Whether it be for tea and cake at 11.00 or lunch, this must be the best cafe in Wolverton. It caters for vegan, veggie and gluten free diets. Spaces for bicycles and outside space for dogs means everyone is catered for.

There have been noticeably more vegan options and the coffees here taste delicious! I also appreciate this cafe and the community events they put together.

Fabulous service today had a tasty grilled tuna and cheese sandwich and this amazing hot chocolate with a slice of lime and courgette sponge cake to die for will definitely visit again lovely atmosphere.

The tea cake there was amazing and the staff were brilliant as well. If I was going to make my own series of the apprentice I will make this cafe the losers cafe for the losing team that loses my tasks.

Lovely helpful staff.everything made fresh .delicious eggy bread and fruit compote. Good news for those who want gluten free options as they make it in that version also. Wish they were open longer.

Came here with my partner and family as part of my birthday. Friendly staff served excellent toasted sandwiches,paints, coffee and cakes. All served with a smile. A big shout out should go to Mason and Jordan who were the students on duty. WELL DONE BOYS. thank you for making my birthday special.

Lovely little community cafe, with a cute outdoor seating area. Food was lovely as was the coffee. Felt very Covid safe too.

This little gem was a fantastic find today, whilst out on a rainy/ hailing cycle ride. Warmly welcomed by lovely staff and had the most delicious toastie and coffee. Definitely my new favourite cafe and will be back soon to sample the cake!

Came here after some good reports. The cafe is attached to the local secondary school. Limited menu at the moment due to covid restrictions. Had excellent toasted sandwiches and egg+ bacon mayonnaise wrap. Coffee was also very good .

Great little find. We had a cycle around and stopped here for a coffee and mini bite to eat. Nice area to sit outside when the sun is out. Charmingly slow services but overall a lovely experience and we will be back.

Good coffee and amazing lemon drizzle cake. Service was fantastic, the young people from Slated Row School are doing a brilliant job.
