An ambience place to eat, great food and the staff are on the ball 👌

I was on a visit to Malton and needed a snack and a coffee. I saw the FortySix cafe/bistro which looked so pretty and was right on the Market Square. I couldn't decide between having the scrambled eggs, blueberry porridge or pancake or waffle stack. In the end I chose a tea cake which arrived with warm homemade jam plus cream, a really delicious combination. The service was friendly and thoughtful and it was a wonderful experience, I will be visiting again

Just a pub? Nope! Just a great traditional restaurant, great food, great drinks, great staff!! A much needed refurbishment has made all the difference. A must for traditional Yorkshire fayre. Booked for a return on seafood night.

Perfect! Went for lunch with friends. Service delightful. Food excellent. Interior design just beautiful. Too busy enjoying the whole ambience to take photos! Afterwards we sat outside by the village pond reflecting on the whole experience!

Only just found this lovely little cafe so our first experience ,can only say the food was wonderful ,beautifully cooked all fresh ingredients,friendly people ,look forward to going again 😀
