Incredible restaurant. The quality of food was unbelievably good; great presentation and tasted amazing. The general atmosphere of the restaurant was very calm and the service could not be faulted. Would highly recommend.

I ordered special fried rice with prawns. Not a shrimp or prawn to be seen. Called up and they called me a liar and put the phone down on me. That makes ALL of you need to avoid this place.

Ordenado por teléfono el domingo por la tarde, entrega dentro del tiempo asignado de 45 minutos, el conductor encontró la dirección donde la mayoría de los otros fallan cuando el Satnav lo lleva a la parte posterior del edificio. Lo expliqué al hacer el pedido y obviamente el mensaje se transmitió al conductor (que fue muy amable y educado, aunque cuando lo llamaron para que me dejaran entrar me olvidé de soltar la puerta principal) La comida estaba caliente, buen tamaño de la porción, bastante sabrosa con 3 platos extra ya que habíamos gastado más de 40. Definitivamente usaría de nuevo.

Llegamos para llevar esta tarde y dentro de un par de minutos de meternos en el comienzo nos dimos cuenta de que las gambas en los rollos de panqueques estaban apagadas. Están parados en el cielo y tienen el mismo sabor horrible: su compañero tuvo la desgracia de masticar uno antes de darse cuenta y estaba sufriendo durante varios minutos después. . Llamaron al restaurante para avisarles que la persona que estaba al teléfono solo dijo "¡pero están frescos!" Y sugirieron que reemplacen los panqueques. Estábamos completamente fuera de la comida en ese momento, así que enviaron un conductor para devolver la comida. Lo que más me impactó fue la actitud totalmente negativa de la persona que habla por teléfono. . sin rastro de disculpa ni ningún esfuerzo por explicarlo. Por lo tanto, recomendaría en contra.

We were visiting bournemouth and decided to have Chinese for the launch... food was delicious,specillay the rice noodles.we had chicken ginger and egg rice...all of them cooked well... we will be back again...

Sin duda esta es una de las mejores comidas chinas de la ciudad. El servicio también estuvo a la altura. definitivamente recomiendo otros.

On a recent visit to the town, we decided to get food delivered to our hotel. Our normal place was closed so we tried this one instead. It was a mistake we won’t make again! The food was expensive but not so much as to put us off. When it was delivered it was in plastic containers- a definite plus. Sadly, the positives ended there! The various dishes were not tasty and the chicken and mushroom curry contained no mushrooms at all! The curry was fairly bland and the sweet and sour sauce was tasteless. Unfortunately there was little to recommend this place, other than the fact that delivery time was reasonable!!!

Love this restaurant, there's menu for Chinese people and a different menu for local people. Really good value and the food is so fresh. My boyfriend and I visit there nearly every week even we live 1 hour away

I ordered my usual preferred choice when at home and found this dish from here to be very different. The meat was tender, but the sauce a little tasteless. Service was kind of slow too. I think the Chinese is more authentic and less western perhaps. It was satisfying, but I think I was expecting something different

Stumbled upon this amazing place by accident, on holiday with my family and looking for something to eat, the gentleman serving us was extremely welcoming and helpful, food was presented in serving dishes and looked and tasted fantastic! A choice of cutlery was offered i.e. Knife, forks, spoons and chopsticks. The food was piping hot and tasted extremely fresh. At the end of our meal the staff was more than happy to box up our left overs to take home. The bill was a shock, as it was not as expensive we thought it would be for the quality and quantity of our order. Will definitely be coming here again

Bought sweet n sour chicken and chips for daughter . She said it wasn't good so I had a taste of sauce and it was a bit tasteless and greasy.

Absolutely appalling. The order was horrendous and when a complaint was made there was complete disregard for my mental health condition. The person know the phone claimed to be a doctor which was a complete lie. I requested a full refund yet was offered 20% discount on my next order! How ridiculous!!

They have 6 or 7 tables you can eat in or take away. I think the food is ok. Valuable and big portion.

The delivery driver blatantly tried to shortchange me and when questioned on the matter merely replied its only 50p even though I could see 70p in his hand!! Called the restaurant to express my displeasure and the gentleman that answered the phone who informed me he was the owner just laughed at my claim. The salt and chili ribs were very dry and lacking flavour, the beef and mushroom dish was bland and the Singapore fried rice unpalatable. Used this restaurant for the first time today as it offers a early delivery service but wouldn't recommend or use them again.

Was exploring Bournemouth when a friend got a bit hungry, entered into a pleasant welcoming restaurant/takeaway, Great atmosphere and great food. Excellent service by the host, is kind and hard working ✌🏽️

Initially I intended to dine at a Korean restaurant but unfortunately it was not open (although it says it does) on Friday at 12 noon. So I went opposite to a Chinese restaurant instead. There was no particular ambience in that small restaurant but the food was surprisingly good - like those of home-cooked food by Chinese families! I like the rice (so different from those eaten at the English restaurants in the UK) and the generous amount of chicken and vegetables. The only downside was that the chicken was full of bones, which I had problem taking them out. The Chinese tea was also good because mine was filled with tea leaves and not tea-bag. Overall, it was reasonably priced and the food and drinks were good.

Looks like a take away and no fancy tables or chairs but ,,,,,, what you go in a Chinese for is the food . We ordered set meal for 4 and it was lovely , will defo return if in the area again

Friend and I called in twice for a meal both times the meal was delicious Very hospitable,seems mostly regulars in,especially for take always Needs more people to try it won't be disappointed

The Old Place looks like a tatty takeaway. We would have passed it by but I remembered seeing the good reviews on Trip Advisor, plus it was Sunday night when not all restaurants are open. Another good sign was that it seemed very popular amongst those of oriental ethnicity.

We went as a family and had a fantastic food experience at super low cost. The owners are so friendly and we also had free Chinese tea served by a lady doing only that. Highly recommend!

The old place is a little restaurant, nothing fancy, simple chairs & tables. We went inside because it reminded me of China, and I was not dissapointed! Lovely authentic Chinese food, nice people and clean enough. Go there you're looking for something different.

Had a takeaway from this place which i have never had before. And will never be getting again, no taste to either of the choices we made. Turned up cold and forgot one of the portions we ordered. RUBBISH!!!!
