Wow, what a find! A very warm and friendly welcome on a brief visit to Brentford. A tasty, varied menu was easy to choose from and we will definitely be back to sample more of their delicious pizzas and pasta dishes. The recommended wine complimented my pasta dish perfectly - I really felt like I was near the Med enjoying the freshest seafood. Thank you, absolutely recommended.

Attended as heard that a "living advent" performance taking place. A very interesting and enjoyable performance to include a short tightrope walk on the building roof without a safety harness/net!! Following the performance had a drink in the bar. Friendly staff and lager reasonably priced so near to London. Very pleasant surroundings and clean toilets..did not have food so cannot pass comment on this aspect but would return for a social drink. This location has a number of live performances throughout the year which are well advertised.

The Fire Station has been transformed into a great Italian restaurant. Caspari staff are extremely nice. The service was good and the food delicious. They do not have parking so for Brentford residents take a stroll. Outsiders there is a parking garage nearby.

Nothing wrong with the service, but the food is really so and so. Had the sirloin steak and it was average. And gluten-free seemed to be a swear word here. Ordered blue-cheese sauce and got bernaise sauce. The waiter complained to the chef and I could hear that he was told that it was basically the same thing (!!!) From that I conclude that the chef was not really a professional, but a mere amateur...

I really have no idea what so ever why this place was highly rated. Very un professional staff and dark unpleasant environment. I only had my meal quickly and left the place. Food itsel was nice since it wasn't authentic Persian but modified in far east asian way. Also over priced when it comes to its ambient.

This is a hidden gem in Brentford. Hard to spot that there is a restaurant upstairs - and a really good one. Excellent quality, very authentic Persian food. Pity that it is always so empty, eating there can be a little bit lonely. But food, cocktails and friendly service compensate for the lack of atmosphere.

This place is advertised as a bar & grill with a Persian restaurant upstairs and bar downstairs. Intrigued we went for dinner. The restaurant is accessed via a spiral stair case from the bar below. The restaurant is a little minimalist and apart from some Arabic writing on the wall that's about as Persian as it gets! The food we ordered (lamb stew with jasmine rice) was luke warm and contained minimal lamb. The choice of music for the 'Persian' restaurant was nothing more than standard pop but when this was competing with downstairs Mexican style it all seemed a bit odd. Maybe on another day it would be different but sadly it's not somewhere we would return to.

Went here a week ago, from the moment we walked into the restaurant we were made very welcome, the staff were attentive and the food was top class, we had a three course meal with wine on a Groupon voucher which cost £14.00 per person but looking at the normal prices this place is not expensive and I am sure we will be going back, so if you are looking for a restaurant with good food, service and inexpensive then try this Persian restuarant.

As always the food was excellent. Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked, flavoured and great portion sizes. We ate in a quiet atmosphere on a Saturday, no clue why it was quiet, the food is amazing and always very attentive staff. Cannot recommend the food enough, it's simple (not drowned in sauces or disguised) but so tasty and such quality. Really good value for the food and wine, a lot less than I'm used to paying in London. Only hope is that they bring back the Persian mixed sharing platter of starters, please!

My adult daughter and I had dinner here on our last evening at the Premier Inn next door. Unfortunately, there was a very large party of extremely rowdy diners, less than sober, who dominated the evening. The restaurant staff did apologise in advance that there would be a wait because they were so busy, but we initially did not mind. Then the group got more raucous, also using foul language and popping downstairs to the pub to blast music out periodically, which I presume was from a juke box. The noise drowned out the pleasant Persian music in the restaurant. The atmosphere was really poor and that was a great shame, because the food when it arrived was superb. My daughter had salmon and prawns with saffron rice; I enjoyed skewered chicken with salad and bread. My word it was good! We agreed, had it not been for the other table, we would have had a perfect evening. The staff were attentive, the food was delicious- a little more chicken would have been good, but my daughter was served a huge piece of salmon- and the bill was reasonable. We did not pay the discretionary 10% as we felt so uncomfortable with the situation, but nothing was done about the music or language/volume of the other diners. For these reasons, we did not have pudding nor coffee and our bill took over 20 minutes to arrive as the staff by then were caught up in the larger party trying to work out their bill. Food 10 out of 10; atmosphere atrocious.

I have now become a regular customer in this place. Food is always fresh , delicious & steaks are done to perfection. COCKTAILS ARE THE BEST IN BRENTFORD. Sometimes I sit in the garden & just have a glass of latte. No obligations to spend a minimum amount. Staff are very friendly & make you feel at home. Sometimes busy & sometimes restaurant or bar is quiet but standard & service is always high & price very reasonable for the kind of service they provide. Great place after a hard day's work to wind down & enjoy an early evening Happy Hour before going for a meal in the garden or restaurant. Lovely restaurant with great Persian food. The menu is quite small - but that is a good thing because everything was cooked to order and was fresh. The vegetarian menu is however limited to one thing - (halloumi skewered with roast vegetables) - so lets hope you like halloumi and roast vegetables! My dish was tasty and fresh tasting - but was dry. The staff were very friendly and were completely responsive to us - when we wanted more time to order, re our preference for music (see below), drinks, our queries about the food etc This is a large venue and we went when we were the only diners there (about 7pm) which meant the place felt empty and lacking in atmosphere. The staff put on some music (loud 1980's pop) which didn't work for us at all but to their credit they were responsive and turned it off (later putting on some lower volume muzac which was so in the background it was actually better!).The cocktails are potent and I suffered for a couple of days afterwards! Beware!

Oh my goodness, we ate so much food! It was good to have to stroll along the Thames to digest our meal afterwards. We ordered way too much for three people - the share meze for four people with your choice of 5 dishes from their starter menu, followed by such tender chicken and lamb skewers, plus saffron rice and minty yoghurt. Very good choice of wines - we had a bottle of Merlot and a bottle of Pinot Grigio - couldn't finish the white so they corked it and we took it home! Superb service, delicious food, easy to book a table - all in all a very pleasant evening. Have been here twice now, and needless to say we shall return!

We went for our annual get together to this venue for food and drinks. The cocktails up until 8pm were 2-4-1 which was good, the porn star martini wasn't that good, but the pina colada was lovely. At about 8:15pm we got taken to our table upstairs and there wasn't anyone else in the seating area. There was a few options for food, but we all chose to go for the Xmas menu which included a traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings, sea bass or a lamb shank. Some of us decided to let the venue know in advance what we'd be having and when the food came out, the sea bass and lamb shank looked good and was real nice according to friends. The traditional roast turkey meal however was a shambles, there was no stuffing, no pigs in blankets, no sprouts and no roast potatoes (all of which was advertised). They managed to get a few pigs in blankets at the last second, but then compensated the roast potatoes with garlic potato wedges and instead of stuffing and sprouts, they added a salad on the plate with gravy on it.Bare in mind about 8 of us had pre-ordered our traditional Xmas dinner, they still didn't have the correct food on the plate and it was a shambles. A lot of us ended up not eating and just paid £5 for our starter instead of £25 for the set meal as it should of been. Very disorganised, some staff are helpful and listen, one member was quite rude in his mannerisms and his whole service. I'm guessing it'll be better on a regular night, but I'm not willing to find out, hope this has helped.

We came across this little gem while staying over in Brentford one weekend. We used trip advisor to find a good restaurant near us and this came up. What a pleasant little place it is. I was dining with my boyfriend and his family and we all had such a lovely meal. We hadn't had Persian cuisine before and were not disappointed. The upstairs restaurant is well presented in this old firestation building. The staff were very helpful and the food arrived promptly. There was a goods selection of starters and I had a few of these veggie options instead of a main. Most of the main dishes are based around lamb or chicken, however, veggie options are available. The persian bread, full of sesame seeds was light and tasty. Buy one get one free cocktails also helped matters, although we didn't realise this was the case until two arrived. Oh well!

The downside with this restaurant is that you have to go through a very noisy bar to access it. We walked around the building looking for the entrance but discovered you have to go into a crowded bar and up a spiral staircase strung with fairy lights! The night we went there was also a very loud party in the room above the restaurant so we had a disco beat accompaniment to the meal. However the food was excellent. Their pitta bread is the lightest bread imaginable and the sorbet is the best in the world!

I attended a football match at Brentford and this restaurant was 5 minutes walk from Griffin Park. The building was a 'cool' renovated fire station and a chilled atmosphere was evident immediately upon entering the bar which occupies the entire ground floor. The bartender was friendly and it was 2 for 1 cocktails so it would be rude not to.The restaurant occupied the first and second floor and we made our way to the restaurant level with one of our later rounds of drinks. The waitress took time to explain the menu and options and allowed us plenty of time to choose and was fully attentive when we were ready. The food was excellent and beautifully presented and enjoyed by the four of us.The staff were attending to two big parties (I think 60 in total) and apart from a slight delay in our desserts (which we we warned about at ordering) they coped admirably.I would visit regularly if I lived locally. Thanks for a great evening.

Cycle past here each week and love the outside so wanted to give it a try. The bar on first floor was completely empty (not even a staff member). Went up to the first floor restaurant and greeted by friendly lady. House wine was good. Had mixed starters which were mainly dippy bits. Some bits I loved, some bits not so much but good mix - maybe a there could have been something else for texture? The poppy seed bread we ordered with it was really light and yummy. For main we shared a lamb kebab (I could have eaten a whole one but I was hungry). Lamb was tender and lovely and came with a nice salad. We chose to have this with the bread again (could have chosen rice). We still had some yogurt dip from the starter to add to it.Pudding I had pancake with really aromatic orange syrup and ice cream. Tried the turkish tea - first time I'd tried it and it was a nice finish to the meal.A little lacking in atmosphere but it was a Tues night!Would def go back and try diff starters, yummy bread and a whole kebab.

The prices are surprisingly good for this kind of restaurant; and the ambience soothing, informal and friendly. I pass it frequently, and it seems to always have happy customers; not seen or heard of any poor reviews. And at peak times, the sound of happy guests fair buzz with enjoyment. Indeed, my next visit is imminent. Outside seating is scarce, amounting to a couple of tables and chairs on the main road, but in pleasant weather, they are often used.

We stumbled upon this restaurant just because we happened to need to eat and were staying very nearby (Travelodge Kew Bridge). We decided to try the recommendations of the waiting staff and went for mixed metze to start which we shared between four. We were left wanting more and couldn't wait for our main course, again we chose mixed kebabs to feed four with plenty of salad, bread and rice all cooked to perfection. A mixture of interesting desserts followed topped off with coffees for three of us. Along with a round of drinks and a large jug of iced water the bill came to just over £100 including a 10% service charge. We felt it was good value for a meal which was extremely tasty and had been an experience too. Four very full bellies (my husband, my two rugby playing teenage boys and me) and happy smiles all round! If I lived nearby I think this place could become a favoured haunt!

Having recently moved into Brentford I have found many of the bars and restaurant unwelcoming and almost intimidating. Then after giving up hope I was recommended to try the Fire Station. What a suprise! The staff were friendly and very helpful and the cocktail list was great, not to mention the happy hour! Mmm. It really was a place you could relax and unwind after a day in the office. I have yet to try the restaurant upstairs but if the bar is anything to go by I'm sure I won't be disappointed!!

A group of us had lunch and can recommend the restaurant. Service was prompt and friendly. Food came quickly and I didnt hear any complaints about the quality. Overall recommended.

Loved the starters -- we ordered pretty much everything! for a large group. The main entrees were good, but had excellent Turkish food at Kervans! Nonetheless, I really appreciated the service.

Pleasant venue but ruined because the bar person tried to rip me off. The drinks menu clearly shows the cost of the drinks but I was short-changed by £1, I had only ordered one drink so it wasn't if it was an adding up error. The person who served me disappeared after givng me my change and I had to point out her error to another member of staff who immediately gave me the correct change so it must be a common occurrence. Apart from this one incident it looked ok and we were going to eat there until that happened.

Great food reasonable prices must try. Ask for shahrukh khan at the counter and you will get the best service in the industry 😉.
