No dairy alternatives, no baby changing unit. Ordered my main and was told after ordering it wasnt available and this happened when ordering desserts to. My dessert had not only 1 but a bunch of hair underneath my cheesecake. My experience was nothing but shocking.

Stopped off at this little pub after a morning at Whipsnade Zoo and what a little gem! Friendly welcome and the food was great - can definitely recommend the steak and kidney pudding 👌🏻 and fish and chips! So glad we came out of the zoo (about a 6 minute drive) to eat, The Old Farm Inn was a great find.

We had such a great meal and experience tonight at The Old Farm Inn. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. There were so many gluten free options (both on and off menu) that I was spoilt for choice.

Food was superb, hosting was exquisite. Log burner adds character. Particular mention to the staff for looking after us so well. Always a reliable outlet for food and beer.

If you like your ales you’ll love the beer at the Old Farm Inn, with a great atmosphere and friendly team too, a cosy log fire in the colder months and a lovely pub garden to relax in during the summer. Superb Timothy Taylor Landlord and London Pride today, we didn’t want to leave.

We just came here for a drink with friends whilst out on a walk. It's such a friendly pub with welcoming staff. There's a bar area at the front and a small restaurant at the rear. There was a lovely log fire.

Huge thank you to Jason and team. He had to cope with 24 loud and merry guests for Xmas dinner last night, but service was with a smile and the food was delicious and piping hot. Well done and thank you for looking after us so well 🥳🎄🥂

Quality roast dinner . I went with my wife and mother in law. We all ordered the roast beef . Veg was fresh cooked perfectly, beef was tender and tasty. Gravy was excellent. All our dinners came out pipeing hot just the way we like it .Yorkshire homemade . Waitress didn't catch her name but she was very friendly and polite. Overall an excellent dinner would recommend if you love a roast and a very friendly pub. After our meal we went into the bar for our coffee. Atmosphere was lovely a really village feel ,locals all polite and friendly some of them with there dogs which we loved . Couldn't fault this pub a lovely Gem!!

Now our favourite pub to visit! Our son lucas loves it here. The pub has put effort into the garden area to make it very child friendly! Its bad i know but out son drags us down here 🤣

Lovely pub with only a small amount of real ales but definitely liked the one I had. The garden is a great size with plenty of seating. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area.

Not our first visit but the first time for Sunday lunch and it won't be our last, fresh home cooked food served quickly and efficiently. Even some football banter with the landlord 😁

The food is homemade and excellent. Steak and ale pie, spot on. Shortcrust pastry spot on. Battered fish spot on. Cannot fault it. Tables laid out great. Cosy. Only one downer, only 2 puddings on - Vegan yuk cheesecake or chocolate cake. Good job I was full up, but I thought given the quality of the mains that the puddings would have been cracking. So a disappointment. But still 5 stars. Hopefully pudding next time.

Fantastic food .I had the Cumberland sausage which was hot and tasty vegetables where cooked to perfection sausage amazing. My wife had the steak@kidney pudding it had a great filling .Came to the table pipeing hot . Jason and the lady who served us where extremely helpful couldn't do enough for us .Will definitely be back soon. Would highly recommend this lovely friendly Pub.

Highly recommend! Stopped here today on a whim as we were on a walk in the area. We didn’t have a booking but the staff made space for us in the bar. Had the lamb shank roast which was incredibly tasty!

I absolutely love the old farm inn. It was an extremely welcoming place that was packed when we turned up. It was full of punters from the local village having a drink and a laugh. This may not be the nicest environment for a family meal. However, when we turned up, we spoke to the bartender, who got one of his waitresses to show us to our table. We were in for quite a pleasant surprise as we were taken through some doors and into a separate room which had a total of seven tables, dark beams going across the ceiling, and an old stone fireplace. It was an awesome dining area that not only had an extremely cosy atmosphere but also was separated from the main bar. Therefore, there was little to no noise from those who were having a night out. The customer service was very good, and the waiters/waitresses were extremely polite and easy to start small talk with. They had an extensive menu of meals with huge variety, although it was a Sunday, so they were not cooking their full menu. We waited quite a while for our food to come out, about 30 minutes, but I'd say it was worth it for the quality of food in comparison to the low prices. There were five of us eating a main meal and a starter each plus the drinks. It came to a total of about £100 which is extremely reasonable for what was bought. In this case, some of the drinks were alcoholic, so all in all, they are very good prices. The waitress came to check on us a few times and to see if we were enjoying our meal she also offered to get anything for us if we would like something else to eat or to drink. The staff of The Old Farm Inn were extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the place was cheery and welcoming. The food was very good for pub grub (I'd recommend the scampy for your main). The prices were extremely reasonable; even after taking into consideration the alcoholic beverages that were consumed. The only complaint is that the food took a little while to come out; but it was still hot and worth the extra time. Overall, I would definitely recommend The Old Farm Inn to those who wish to have a cheap meal but with good food or to those who would like to go and have a night out and get a few drinks, four stars.

What a great little pub this is,very friendly staff ,food great and choice of beers.if your are local to this area its not to be missed.

My Mum recently passed away, when we held the wake we looked around for catering options. Jason, Vicky, Phil and I am sure several others were involved and were amazing in their support for us as well as providing external catering to our wake venue. It was delivered on time, hot, and very tasty.. They catered for 100 guests and there was still some left afterwards. No one went hungry. Our difficult day was made easier by their support! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Fabulous couple of nights staying in our motorhome in the car park. Was great to catch up with family and friends. Made even more special by Jason and his team. Thank you guys, we will be back H & Martin xx

Poor service. Guy brings mine and my partners food out and spills my full drink over the table and all over my baby cousin. She gets upset as she’s now soaked and his response was “it’s fine it’s only water” what a joke. Doesn’t even offer to get some towels to help us get her dried off or offer to refill the drink either as he spilt it, just didn’t care about his actions. Shocking behaviour from all the staff, just none of them looked like they wanted to be there and were super miserable. Would not recommend. 👎🏻

Booked a table and our guest turned up at different times but when the ones that turned later on where refused food as they had other customers booked in later on a table of 8 and the food was reserved form them the actual words where you got no hope of getting food as we have a table of 8 coming in later on Dry poor service

Woman behind the bar who thinks she owns the place, I think her name is Sue. Throwing strops like a child and closing the bar for 5 mins claiming there were no glasses when there was a plenty of glasses. Poor young girl behind the bar looked so embarrassed. Takes an age to get a drink anyway without Sue kicking off. Had to ask for our money back because the food took so long. Very poorly run. A couple of people even served themselves because they were sick of waiting.

Top banana. Great local pub with an excellent garden full of swings/bouncy castle for kiddos. Good prices and always friendly.

Yesterday we had Sunday lunch here with our family. Four adults and two youngsters under 5. The staff were really helpful and service quick. It also has a very large garden and a bouncy castle there today. Highly recommended. As one of our local pubs we will be going again.

The Bar it was extremely crowded, took so long to be served. The food was oki. They given me only the food menu, so for the drink I just had to pick up a classic soda, as I thought they must have it. Not very pleased with the location and service. Also, customer pets were allowed inside, I am scared of dogs ,so I wasn’t that happy to see so many dogs around me while I was at the bar. The good thing it was the garden, the bunch was bit funny, but the weather helped me to enjoy it.

I went and stayed with my Best Mate Carly, and we went there for a few drinks.. Never sat inside a sthe weather was too good.. We ordered drinks, sat in the beer garden, and just watched the world go by... I found the drinks to be a reasonable price.. I was drinking Archers n Cokes (double shots😱) BUT never got drunk.. As we were sitting in the garden, I spied a beautiful old car..so took a sneeky pic... The people are so friendly, everyone said, "hello, Good morning, Good bye".. Etc.. I'm going back on a few weeks time to visit my friend, so we will DEF be going to this pub again

Had my husband's belated wake plus belated 80th birthday at The Old Farm Inn. We had it in the garden with marquee as we both have large families. Jason provided everything I asked for, an outside bar, real ale and a lovely buffet. We had several little children who were also provided for with a bouncy castle, football goals and a couple of swings. Made even better by the sun coming out.Very pleasant staff, could not do enough for us and coped well with 140 of my guests. Could not thank them enough, such a pleasant day.

Food was just awful. Had chicken and beef burger and it was so bad. Felt tricked as the reviews were really good but must be all the locals. The ladies serving us were great and the service was good.

We met the Grandparents for Sunday lunch. The pub has a big outside space, so even though it was fully booked, you it didn't feel busy.All clean and tidy. There have been some new additions to the garden recently, a marquee and heater lamps, for inclement weather.Our waitress was lovely, very friendly and patient with us, as we all spoke over each other and dithered over the menu.Love a pub garden on a sunny day.

I came to this pub for lunch after I had walked my dogs the staff are very nice and friendly. I ordered a burger with cheese and bacon but I did not get the bacon nor the cheese in the burger no big deal. I asked for my cheese it came out on a tray. The burger was very nice all round very good experience not to expensive just a limited menu.

We visited the Old Farm Inn for food and drinks for the first time after lockdown and we had such a lovely evening.The staff were all so helpful and welcoming and we were able to enjoy the fantastic garden. The food arrived quickly and was delicious!We will definitely be returning and recommending to others.

Called as a couple on way to Whipsnade Zoo. Friendly staff....lovely little village pub.....thats where the good stuff ends.Very limited menu-just 4 meals plus 3 different burgers....or jacket spuds or sandwiches.Opted for Gammon, chips & egg. The gammon was actually a joint of ham boiled , not a gammon slice and my 2 slices were raw/uncooked in the middle. I was brought 2 more slices on a side plate while the landlady held out her hand to slap my two uncooked pieces into her hand.....so now ive got 2 cooked slices sat on my plate where the raw bits have been.....have they not done the kitchen training about raw and cooked foods? Obviously not. Chips were dried up. I’d have given 0 rating if possible. Im really struggling to see where or how they have got any positive reviews at all.
