The Old Brewery Cafe and Kitchen in North Dorset

Went here on the off chance of a decant coffee and a bite to eat. We weren't disappointed. Fast friendly service from the staff. Spacious clean environment with some awesome vintage bikes to browse over. Would highly recommend this place. And we'll definitely be making a return trip.

Love coming here, used to come when it was MotoCorsa.

Used to come here when its was the Moto Corsa bike dealer. Now all interior is seating with a few selected bikes to look at. Very nice atmosphere, service efficient and friendly and a pricey but tasty full English. Recommended.

Huge venue with a great atmosphere and a good quality breakfast and tasty coffee, shame it's not open on a Sunday as I'd be a regular.

Fantastic. And that's without considering the beautiful motorcycles dotted about the place. But don't be confused, this is no biker's cafe, it's a very spacious, quality cafe/bar that serves great food and very nice coffee. Club sandwich to die for?

Excellent veggie breakfast and Ton Up full English, and very good coffee (I had oat milk decaf latte). We were immediately greeted on arrival and asked where we would like to sit (it was busy but not rammed) , friendly staff, took our order quickly and brought our drinks very quickly. The 2 breakfast meals arrived quickly and were both very good. My veggie sos were perfect (moving mountains). Lovely space, I hadn’t been back since it was changed from bike shop to cafe, but there is plenty of seating, a few motorcycles on display and the staff member advised that in the summer they move some of the seating outside (lovely Italian garden with water features) and have more bikes on display inside. Fair price for very pleasant environment, food and service.

Excellent. No matter when you go it's consistently good. No matter what you choose to eat, never disappointed.

After reading some good reviews I arrived looking forward to my lunch on what was a wet cold Saturday. Surroundings are interesting with fine examples of vintage motorcycles in various parts of the converted brewery which had a bright and airy feel. The waiting staf were smiley and friendly. I was warned there would be a 30 minute wait which I accepted as the place was busy. I ordered an all day breakfast which when it arrived 40 minutes later was a big disappointment. The ingredients were of inferior quality apart from freshly fried tomatoes. The one egg was overcooked, mushrooms not fresh, - I suspect from a tin, baked beans, 2 vegetarian sausages, along with one small slice of cheap white toasted bread. And for that I paid just over £13 including a pot of tea which I did enjoy. And I had such high hopes …..

Made a special journey to visit and wasn't disappointed at all. Staff were very friendly and attentive, coffee was excellent, and the breakfast really good, particularly the butchers sausages, always the barometer for a great full English. The motorcycles add to the ambience. Can't recommend highly enough, already planning our next visit

Five of us went one Saturday morning in January. The service was prompt, friendly, fun and with a little banter. The food was top notch and seems to be getting even better. We will be back on a regular bases 😋🏍👊

Great place to meet up for coffee and/or breakfast, especially for bikers and those interested in motorcycle nostalgia, as there are a few bikes (of various eras) on display, within the café area. Plenty of seating (inside and out) and reasonable spaces for free parking. Would recommend (especially for biker meets).

I celebrated my birthday at the Brewery yesterday and everyone commented on the food as it was so fresh and tasty. The staff are so accommodating. Thank you for making my birthday so rememberable.

I went there with some friends on a christmas meal on 17/12/24 and found everything excellent from the food and drink to the friendliness and professionalism of the in house team for catering and looking after such a large group as well as other diners.lovely collection of vintage motorbike's representing one of the premises previous guises as a motorbike garage 👍

It is such a lovely, friendly place to go for coffee and cakes, or the most amazing cooked breakfast.

The best breakfast I’ve eaten couldn’t fault it! Very friendly and accommodating staff and nice airy cafe!

Mixed experience at The Old Brewery. The service was very good, quick and friendly and the coffee was good although the large Americano seemed to be just a single shot with extra water rather than 2 shots (it wasn’t very strong). The Brewery breakfast tasted really good for something which came too quickly to have been cooked to order and unfortunately this was evident with the eggs in particular which looked like they had been sitting under heat lamps for a while. Overall the quality of the food was very good just a shame it wasn’t cooked to order.

It's a nice clean cafe with a difference. It's full of motorbikes, but this doesn't stop a wide spectrum of people using it, from senior ladies having brunch to bikers all getting on well together, the service and food is great aswell. Fully enjoyed my stop there.

Been many times and the staff and food are excellent. The staff are all lovely, so friendly and helpful. Service is great and food is delicious.

Found this place by chance and stopped for lunch the menu had a good slection and staff were very friendly and helpful also dog friendly.

Nice ride out for me from Christchurch on motorcycle nice breakfast friendly staff. Looks like it’s dog friendly as well. Well worth a visit.

Stopped by for lunch during long journey from London to Cornwall. Extremely friendly service, excellent food. Highchair and baby changing facilities. Would definitely stop off again if passing.

Another return visit on Thursday, 19 September 2024. Super food, an all day breakast and super coffee. Lovely people to look after us, as always, and the top spec Horex to lust after. A superb meal, visit and day.

Great food, friendly staff, well run and great value. And a good number of interesting bikes to noss around as well.

Fabulous food, amazing views of bikes with history, stunning garden area. Would recommend to anyone to try it out.

Lovely lunch (jacket potato and all day breakfast) surrounded by gorgeous bikes and decor. The new bar looks enticing and I'm determined to find a reason to hire the meeting room soon. There's still a fair few motorbikers popping in, but the quality of the food has attracted a diverse crowd.

Went for the first time as the BSA Gold Star (southern section) meet there . Food and service Excellent. Will be there next month. Steve..

Good atmosphere (somewhat feels not finished) service was great, seated in minutes by staff, food took about 15-20minutes but was worth the wait. Burger was lovely chips fresh and crispy, Hallumi fries were crispy and fresh the salad was good, not limp or dying. Sandwich was fresh and lovely bread no texture of being stale or left out. A bit on the more expensive side but the flavours and portions were as expected for paying a bit more.

Nice garden, food is limited especially vegan options. Carpark and clean toilets. Friendly staff.

It was all good until I paid the bill and was charged £8 yes EIGHT pounds for two pints of soda water with lime!!😱

Had a lovely lunch at the Old Brewery cafe. I had the soup of the day (mushroom), it was delicious! My nan had the small fish and chips which she really enjoyed. Staff were helpful, polite and attentive. I've only marked them down a star as I would like to see more vegan options on the menu. Currently they can adapt the Vegetarian breakfast (removing the egg) and the veggie burger (removing the halloumi).

Nipped down from Northampton to catch up with our son and partner who live in nearby Marnhull. This seemed an ideal spot for lunch - we were not disappointed. Sons ploughman’s excellent, my brewery club toastie spot on - blooming filling, wife loved her fish cakes. Good service, good value for the quality. Nice venue too..

A cracking establishment with superb food and a great service

A lovely non rushed meal with family and friends not seen in over 40 years. My cousin couldn't have picked a better place.

What a fabulous little find. I don't think it's been open long but it is a superb place to visit and grab a bite to eat. Small but interesting bike collection to look at. I bet it's busy at weekends. If not it should be. Highly recommended. Oh, and it's dog friendly too.

We were here for a family gathering. My sister had come home from America for a visit. First time in 43 years. Together with my other sister and partners we met up with my Aunt and cousin and partner.

Great! Friendly staff with a good atmosphere. Also, while drinking your coffee you can sit and gawp at a Vincent Rapide.

I have temporary dietary needs & was offered excellent choices. Really wonderful place.

After being sat at a table, I waited 20 minutes to place an order. The drink and food was efficient, but the service was soulless. I expect it my be different for locals, but a cheerful service just wasn’t there.

Lovely breakfast and initial service let down sadly when we asked for additional hot drinks to be told by the young man waiter it would take ages to make them so we didn’t bother. Been a while since we’ve been here and may be a while until we come back again after today sadly.

Today went for lunch with friends, very disappointed I must say. The industrial fans were very noisy, and we had to move tables as you couldn't hear each other speak!! We all had burgers, which were very average, compared to our last visit. Overall not a good experience.

Just had a full english at the Old Brewery, excellent food (generous portions and quality produce), very friendly and helpful staff and a bustling but not loud atmosphere.

A unique dining experience with tables set amongst vintage motorcycles. Dogs are welcome inside, or you can enjoy the lovely outside dining areas in better weather. It is also a great place for bikers to meet up for a superb breakfast. There is plenty of parking front and back. Great menu and friendly service.

Definitely unique, nice place for lunch with happy staff. Food was nice but not exactly cafe prices so a treat as opposed to frequent visitor.

Not much to look at from the outside (a bit of a big corrugated shed), but very nice inside with lots of classic motorcycles, memorabilia and tastefully decorated dining area. I had the pancakes and a smoothie - pancakes were good but quite thick and came with only a spoon, and while I managed it, I could see someone less able making a bit of a mess. Maybe spoon, knife and fork? Service was also a bit slow and inattentive, despite there not being lots of customers in. Still recommended, with a good menu and plenty to interest the classic vehicles buff in your life!

Great atmosphere for this renovated brewery. Motorcycle collection a particular interest for me.

Food was very good apart from the fried bread which was dripping with fat the only thing that spoilt my meal Staff very nice and a comfortable eating area but it is expensive could not justify the amount on a regular basis

What a great place to stop and hang out. We stopped for tea and toasted tea cakes on the way back from the coast, avoiding the busy A roads. Sitting inside at a table surrounded by old motorcycles. If you haven't been it works be a great destination for a ride out.

We rode from Bristol to visit and it was worth it. Very expensive but very nice. Staff are very welcoming and fast service. I had a "Ton breakfast" and a pot of tea and it was neatly £16. Not somewhere I could afford on a regular basis but that said , I would visit again.

Quality food at reasonable prices. Service is friendly. Pleasant surroundings inside or outside. Retaining the motorcycle theme from the original cafe but not just a bikers café.

Was on a bike ride out and decided to stop over for a breakfast, but I can't fault the service. Friendly staff, food pipping hot when it's served. Top quality 👌. One of my top recommendations for dine in.

Been a handful of times now, good food, polite helpful staff, in a very pleasant setting indeed. Sitting outside is recommended if the weather allows, as the garden is lovely, there is a covered area also as well as very pleasant seating and setting inside.

Lovely breakfast. I'm no food snob but you can tell quality ingredients in a fry-up. My photo might look a bit tomato heavy (yum) but I asked to swap out the mushrooms (yuk) which was no problem. Good service and very friendly staff. Lots of interesting bikes to look at too.

Had a lovely lunch with a group of girl friends in this most unusual eatery surrounded by motor bikes. It's a very relaxed atmosphere, service and food was good.

This is a stunning place, and the motorbikes just finish it off, along with some of the writups of the bikes themselves, my only niggle, and this is from a northan biker, is it's not cheap, not the sort of place I would stop at on my bike run somewhere, as for 6 light meals, and 6 drinks (tea, coffee, hot chocolate) almost £100 I found a bit steep, but then again I am a bonifide northaner with short arms and deep pockets

We regularly enjoy a stop at the Old Brewery Cafe when out on our motorcycles, the food and coffee are good, the garden is lovely and the atmosphere inside amongst the motorcycles is great but above all the staff are absolutely lovely, thankyou, see you again soon.
