This is an amazing place for a wee bite, we loved the sambar Dahl and we were sitting next to a lab and we loved the idea of a puppacino and we loved the showcasing of their furniture and vintage items ! We would highly recommend the old barn coffee shop.

We have been here quite a few times now and it’s always my go to place. Lovely owners and tasty heart food with a huge selection of cakes that are all vegan. Love it! 🌱

Nice place to stop for a bite to eat and a coffee. Breakfast rolls on the menu would be nice, but still appreciated our visit. I got a sandwich, my partner got soup.

Great location,arrived at 3pm,online advised closed at 4pm. Two ladies went in before us with dogs,could see from parking area was still busy with customers ,just as we arrived at the door the sign was turned to closed. We were only looking for a quick coffee,obviously we were spotted coming from car park. Found this really rude,must be a cafe that relates to local customers.

Lovely coffee shop with log burner. Selling toasties and homemade soups, the selection of cakes is amazing. Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Bonus for being dog friendly

It doesn't get more lovely than here :) Favourite place for a nice treat.

Positives -the coffee was ok. -The cake selection looked nice. (We didn’t sample though) Negatives - the soup was bland and watery . It also had a powdery texture so suspect it was packet soup. I would expect proper, hearty, home made soup for £5.25 not the equivalent of canteen offerings. - Scone was absolutely nuked in the microwave. (Despite not asking if I wanted it “warmed” up. ) It was steaming hot and floppy with a raw doughy texture. I.e. nothing like a scone.

Always excellent choice of vegan baking and gluten free options.

Lovely vegetarian cafe with lots of vegan options. We had the soup, sandwiches, kids pancakes, and cakes. It was all lovely and generous portions! Lovely little find!

We went to The Old Barn Coffee Shop as it is dog friendly and thoroughly enjoyed it. We only went in for a snack and had the soup which was delicious. The staff and service was great, would definitely recommend it.

This is a super dog friendly coffee shop, the staff are lovely and the food is delicious, I don't have a sweet tooth but if you do the cakes look amazing. Definitely recommend it.

Delightful little coffee shop with an abundance of cakes (all of which are vegan) as well as savouries such as sandwiches and soups. Sandwiches were delicious, with soft fresh bread, and the cakes and sweets were amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, a little gem in the lovely village of Auchtermuchty. Such a lovely atmosphere and highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!

Why have we not been here before? Really friendly welcome and great cakes and coffees. No wonder the place was buzzing. We’ll be back.

I've been visiting The Old Barn for a year now and if I could give six stars for service I would. This place gives me such a lift! The owners and staff are just lovely! It's an old barn. There are dogs. Local arts and crafts on sale. A wood burning stove in the winter. And the food is always excellent! Couldn't really ask for more!

Lovely cheese and pickle sandwich and latte for me, other half loved her home made tomato soup and cheese and tomato sandwich. Reasonably priced for the quality of produce. Will be back.

Magic cafe with lovely atmosphere and superb coffee. We were served by the owner, a delightful guy called Henry, who told us all the cakes are vegan but they don't make a big deal of it as some people think they won't be as good. We'll, they are! And a huge choice. It will now be difficult to go through Auchtermuchty without gaining weight!! Thanks a lot Henry.

Lovely welcome and atmosphere. Very lucky to have vegan food on our door step. One criticism is that it is pricey

First visit with a friend who is a regular customer - very impressed - first time ever I have taken my dog into somewhere like this as we usually sit outdoors. Spotless, lovely helpful & kind hosts, great selection on menu & all food looked delicious. Had a Coffee & ice-cream on this visit but wil go back for lunch. They are very pet friendly hosts & dogs loved the attention & of course the treats. Great selection of healthy treats & old fashioned sweets plus gifts to buy. Well worth a visit. Update 1st September - we went back for lunch. Had large bowl of lentil soup with chunky bread & coffee - delicious 😋. Doggies enjoyed the treats & photoshoot again. Will return.

Great coffee shop. Very warm and friendly greeting to each customer from the owner..Customised tables and chairs using old sewing machine bases and old hessian sacking as seat pads. Overall effect is lovely. Great choice of cakes, tea and coffee. Generous bowl of soup. Will definitely return here. What a treasure.
