This microbar coming up to its first anniversary is surely destined to become a regular entry in the Good Beer Guide it’s that good. Four well kept, locally brewed cask ales are on sale along with an amazing choice of bottled beers. Only a hop, skip and a jump away from Starbeck 🚂 station, there’s no excuse not to call in if visiting either Knaresborough or Harrogate - you will not be disappointed. Must also mention the welcoming bar-staff and friendly regulars. So glad I took a punt on calling in here 👍🏻

We found this place by chance and are so glad we did. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service was great. The food was very tasty. We went for the set menu which provided a good selection of delicious dishes and gave good value for money.We only just managed to squeeze in the chocolate at the end as we had eaten so much! I would definitely come back here again and highly recommend it.

The staff are always lovely and give you a warm welcome. I decided to drop by after a dog walk spontaneously and they welcomed my dogs. I unfortunately had a lady comment how dogs shouldn't be welcome in restaurant. (Only one side of the restaurant is dog friendly) The staff handle it with making me and the other lady feel welcomed and respected. Always leave looking forward to going back.

Despite being a vegetarian himself, he handled our meat dishes with great care and was impressively knowledgeable, answering all our questions with confidence. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience, making us feel welcome and well looked after. His warm personality and attention to detail truly made our evening special. Highly recommend both the restaurant and this exceptional waiter!
