Me and my friend’s first time coming, so welcoming! Brilliant staff and customers too!

Didn't have food, same as it usually is in there nice pub to have a drink.

Great barmaid, reasonable drinks.

Decent pub nice friendly lady behind bar would go back anytime

Friendly staff visited briefly still not changed 30 yrs ago I drank there

went on Saturday the 9th of April 2022 with my daughter for are 1st night out ever and the rock band that was playing got her up to sing ive drank ther for years and i have not been ther on a sat night like that night thank you to all the staff the usual suspects that always ther mostly thanks for a great night cudnt av asked for a first night out with my daughter to go any better

Great pub! Friendly staff and a good pint

The staff have been amazing tonight even under current circumstances. We were sent home From the pub due to police coming in I have no idea why as social distance was put in place throughout the whole visit. We had a lovely meal and staff had full PPE. I cannot wait to return once this lockdown is over my first visit here as I am working around the area and I can’t thank the staff and manger enough. Great hospitality.

Nice local pub one of the last in this area staff very good and plesent beer reasonable price had a couple of pints and caught the bus (whitch are plentiful)to town good day out ✔🍺👍😁 covid rules well implemented ✔🍾

A great place run by Donald and his wife. Great food and they also do hotel accommodation. Also a great place to eat when on ya boat on the grand union canal

You can go in for a quiet drink with your family and friends and they also have a karaoke night

Good atmosphere but it's not for everyone

Roast carvery dinner on sundays are fab 1 till 5:30 and only £7 beef, turkey or ham, then help yourself to the spuds and veg, give it a try nom nom from cathy skelhorn (skely)

Sunday afternoon just dropped in for a quick bite to eat GREAT carvery well priced cooked lovely if you are passing you should try it they do a kids size one too

Lovely staff. Welcoming and friendly. Even fed my little girl whilst we waited.

Always a great venue. The new management are superb. They are pushing the place and I believe that they are saving one of the last great public houses in Huyton.

Good place to unwind with 2 pool tables wich has to be a bonus.
