Visited with friends on a quiet weekday evening. Staff were clueless and the manager was so rude. Pizza arrived cold. We paid and left ASAP. Shame as the venue itself is beautiful.

Really nice restaurant, lit by candlelight, big tables and nice artwork Great service Food was great, Arancini and chorizo were delicious Would recommend

The whole eve was a bit average. Too many mistakes including lots of wrong food, flat drinks and wrong bill a random bottle of champagne. In all average. But nice setting and pizza was yum.

He tenido la suerte de visitar este delicioso restaurante en varias ocasiones para comer y beber. Qué reconfortante y especialmente ahora durante la pandemia, es genial sentirse seguro y cuidado. Un elogio especial para el maravilloso Kemel, Mixólogo y gerente del bar, quien me devolvió a la vida con sus extraordinarios cócteles. Cómo elabora estas sutiles infusiones de frutas y alcohol sigue siendo un misterio. Gracias amigo mío por escuchar mis problemas. Espero volver a verte pronto.

En medio de demasiada y aburrida arquitectura moderna, este pequeño "bolsillo" de lo que alguna vez fue ofrece un refugio muy necesario tanto del tráfico pesado y de las calles como de la vida frente al río con un diseño demasiado perezoso. El ambiente te da ganas de volver.

This was my 3rd visit to The Oak and this was absolutely my favourite time. We went for my birthday party, booked the massive table and had a blast! The pizzas are the best in the city, the cocktails are delicious and the team and incredibly friendly and attentive. I cannot wait to go back. Hands down my new favourite restaurant in London

Disappointed and uninviting. They accept dogs but not welcoming. Nice decor but proprietor or manager not very service focussed. I would stick to other more welcoming places. Small plates way too small too!!! Don’t bother.

The oak is spacious and a lovely space to dine in. The staff are polite and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will return.

Pizzas are probably the best in SW11. Can’t believe idiots are giving 1 star because someone left a dog outside....

The small starter plates are good and that’s about it. The Margherita pizza is tasteless, and I also ordered an artichoke pizza which arrived with barely any artichoke on it. The food took far too long to get to the table, I don’t know whether that is because the Chef is slow or because most of the time the waiters are chatting and having a laugh behind the bar. Terrible service.

I wasn’t wowed by size of my main meal here. We fed back in person and the staff were nice and apologetic and told us they have already told the owners. My main was served lukewarm on a cold plate, flavours were there but small. For such a massive space and empty we were sat in the smallest corner table next to a big group - it wasn’t very private. The wine we tried was great. I’d like to know why the Beatles wall art was a thing?

Carbonara was my main course but it costed £15 for a tiny portion. I am still hungry. Calamari starter was smelly and chewy, don’t order it. Zuccini a joke. The waiter doesn’t know anything about wine to give advice (he is a teenager) and the place is empty on a Saturday night. A rip off. Not coming back again.

Service was pleasant but menu is simply not right....food too expensive and far too much hand-coloured octopi and boiled squid (I exagerate, but only a BIT). Think it would have far more more customers if it had a few, simple,, cheap dishes and also more scones and cakes for tea - with that view from the back it could easily become a popular tea venue - none of the friends I took there for dinner wanted to go back! The menu needs a lot more thought. The Butcher and Grill closed because of making a loss,, so would suggest trying a new menu......

Fantastic location, restaurant looks great and the staff are friendly - if only the food wasn't so awful and overpriced. Ordered the onglet steak, which was supposed to come with a chargrilled potato salad and bone marrow butter. The only ingredient in the 'salad' were some cold, dry, pre-grilled potato slices, there was no bone marrow butter and the steak was already cut up into strips when it arrived. Shockingly bad and horribly overpriced.

The food was wonderful.. The staff quickly sat us and made sure we were comfortable. They answered questions about the menu and made food suggestions. The zucchini fritte were AMAZING. They almost tasked like french fries, but so much better. Dinner was reasonable priced. I would go again.

I have been here 3 times in the last couple of months. I love the interiors & atmosphere. The food and cocktails are delicious. Perfect venue for a date, catching up with friends or celebrating a birthday.

Delicious food, quick service, great cocktails, all topped with a tasty dessert. The room is large and spacious and even though it was busy doesn’t feel crammed. Well worth a visit.
