Very quiet atmosphere was only people in it including staff service was okay I got what I asked for but staff wasn't chatty

Basic family orientated pub in the centre of town. Pop in for a drink with all the family.

I enjoyed a well kept pint of 6x. And, get this, strangers talked to each other!

There may be new owners, but the Wadsworth 6X was exceptional. New real ales are planned, so well worth a visit. Friendly owners have taken over so give it a try 😊

Basic boozer. Popped in for a quick Guinness whilst waiting for train. Good condition and good price.

What a great pub amazingly low prices

Not Impressed! Went in here for a pint..No Real Ale.. No Service Either... Waited for a reasonble time, but still no one came to serve? Obviously a total waste of time. Went to the Fountain and was welcomed with opened arms and served a lovely pint of real ale.

We had a fantastic night on Friday. All staff were very welcoming and friendly 😊 It was great music by DJ waansin and we danced all night long. Highly recommended!

Only giving one star as I had to in able to leave a comment. Otherwise I wouldn't have left even one.If you're looking for somewhere to have a quiet respectful drink .please stay clear!!!They seem to cater to anyone that likes to drink all day. So if you venture inside at a decent hour be very aware of the drunks that have obviously be there all day!! , Theres definitely a lack of support from the management when fights start in there, cause give it ten minutes and they let them back in, why? I can only assume as it's more money behind the bar!! All I can say is if you are the type that likes to drink yourself silly, have a brawl and then grab a curry at the end of the night. This is your place!! Very disappointing establishment! There are more respectful places to drink in Gloucester.

Quality local boozer. Has been around for a while, drinks are reasonable priced. Has a decent outside seating area. Bar staff are friendly, interior decor is authentic and old pub style. Has an outside tv for the summer and watching the footy. Is just a few minutes away from the train station.

Good selection of drinks, including the superb Westons old Rosie cider, also friendly Staff. Would have been 5 stars if the disco on Friday night's wasn't so loud.

I can say that the North End Vaults does by far and away the best Sunday roast in Gloucester. Highly recommended. Actually amazing!

The oldest pub in the Medieval City of Gloucester. Good atmosphere and beer / lager and barmaids very pleasant. On a downside not very big as you'd expect from this ancient construction but I would not think children would enjoy it as it is not that sort of venue. More like the old traditional drinking house. Ideal for the odd daytime visit and 5 minutes from Cathedral and Rugby Stadium.
