The Nook Hampstead in Camden

Estaba dispuesto a probar este lugar en Hampstead a pesar de las críticas no tan positivas, pero estaba igualmente decepcionado. El servicio fue genial y el chocolate caliente de avellanas inicialmente tenía un buen sabor a nuez, pero definitivamente no valió la pena lo que se pagó. Si lo tuyo es el chocolate caliente, hay muchos otros lugares auténticos en la calle principal.

Absolutamente la peor experiencia que he tenido en una cafetería! Pedí dos chocolates calientes y un blanco plano grande, por un total de £ 17. Lo que recibí fue una abominación acuosa: sin arte del café, sin consistencia, solo un cubo tibio de p###. ¡No podía creer mis ojos! Cuando me acerqué a la mujer de cara dura con cabello oscuro detrás del mostrador para cambiarlo por un blanco plano directo (no confiaba en ellos para hacer bien lo que era una solicitud tan simple) , ella respondió con un abrupto, 'Son £ 3 . 50 ya que eso es lo que pediste. ' ¿Estás bromeando? Me sorprendió su falta de servicio al cliente y decencia básica. Después de que ella repitiera las mismas tonterías, se echó atrás a regañadientes, pero ni siquiera debió llegar a eso. Es asombroso que alguien tan grosero sea empleado en una posición de frente de casa. Vivimos en la carretera adyacente y nunca volveremos. Hay muchos mejores lugares para tomar café en ese desfile: hazte un favor y evita este.

Far too expensive for a poor quality ice cream. The ice cream is small and the price too high compared to other local good ice cream shops.

During a walk around Hampstead Heath. We passed The Nook and decided on buying a hot chocolate as it was a cold evening in January. After choosing one from their 6 different choices, I realised I had to try the rest! They were all delicious and well worth trying. With the warmer weather coming, I’m looking forward to trying their milkshakes!

Simply put, the Nook has become a crucial part of my daily life, and the staff there couldn't be more wonderful if they tried -- ditto, the coffee. Bravi to Michael, Keith, Ross, and all involved -- they deserve their success entirely!

A wonderful series of dishes- all tasty with fresh and unique ingredients. Creative chef and the time you spend waiting is well worth it. The atmosphere is enhanced by the owners presence. A great selection of European wines as well. Do not pass up a chance to try this place whilst in London!

We came for an excellent coffee and that is exactly what we received! Great option and very happy to have stumbled in to this tiny but excellent store.

It was busy, so we thought it was a place worth queuing for - it wasn’t. My cortado was cold, tasted poor, and the small cup was half-filled. I waited outside (along with other customers) after I had ordered and paid, and could see that it was made and sitting on the counter for a good 10 minutes, being ignored by the 3 working staff who were supposed to bring it out to me (each having picked it up, looked at the name and then put it back on the counter) before I walked back into the shop and asked for it… what’s wrong with my name? The coffee is wrong - would not recommend.

Came here for a takeaway white hot chocolate, and no exaggeration it was the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. It literally tastes like melted creamy hot chocolate, I recommend x1000
