The New Moon House in Hillingdon

Been using New Moon for over ten years. Always quality, fresh food that is well packaged. Delivery usually 30-45 mins but always worth the wait. Recommended!

coming here since 1999. it is the taste that makes this place. its old school frontage adds to the character. i always feel bloated after food. not here. best chinese ive had. consistent and if youre lucky, a free calendar too. 'take out' google means 'takeaway', tsk. also, 5no. people fed for £50. yes its £50, but worth it.

This is the worst experience from a takeaway. The woman at the front is very weird and nasty, probably the worst customer service. I went in with my Muslim l partner to get a vegan spring roll and she gave us a vegetable spring roll with pieces of pork in it. Lucky for us I decided to break it in half before taking the first bite. My partner was wearing her religious headwear so I believe that it was done with malicious intent. I returned the spring roll, got my refund and would not recommend anyone to go there (unless you don’t care what you eat). And they have a one star hygiene rating 🤢

Best Chinese food, I've had in years! Plus they are non-halal! The Supreme starters were divine, the Pork ribs were amazing and best of all, the Sweet and Sour Pork were so good that I wish I had ordered two portions! Trust me, I highly recommend this Chinese takeaway!

After 15 years of eating here (take away ) It's just gone down hill The last few times we got food it tasted awful. New chef, old oil ? Dint know why was always the place for great taste .I think they have got lazy and dont care .my daughter came over the other day and tried to order and they said she had to go collect dontt take card payment. I've been paying by card as least 10 years . Time to move on

Don't answer the phone to take orders I walked 10 mins to the shop. Waited to be served. The woman walked to the back and didn't come back. Not how it used to be. Won't be back.

Don't oder from this take away... Horrible disgusting food. No clue how to cook chinese food !!!... Such a shame because there is hardly any good chinese take way in Hillingdon. Poor food hygiene! Learn to cook chinese food before you open a takeaway !!!!!

after 19 phone calls, fone constantly ringing or engaged, decided to feed 11 guests somewhere else. i wont bother trting these again

Ordered won tong soup from here and it tasted roughly about 3 years old.. absolutely disgusting. The prawn crackers were the only thing going from this place. Which may I add, didn’t come complimentary with the order.

Sign on the door saying only 2 people allowed in - fair enough. Told 25 mins to collect after placing the order. Arrived on time. Stood outside for 5 mins waiting - fair enough. Went in, no greeting or questioning from the strange lady at the counter. Sat there for 20 mins waiting for the food. In the meantime another 4 people walked in. Surely its her job to maintain the 2 person rule. The food was average but I wont be going back. This lady should not be front of house. Not even a thankyou or goodbye.

Great chinese food.in fact had delivery tonight. Been using for years.still as good.Good prices.delivers in 45 mins or less usually.can collect.we always order same dishes as im sure most do but deepfried shredded beef, chicken balls sweet sour, char siu pork and an egg fried rice is our favourites

Terrible delivery service. I ordered a delivery at 5.30 pm but I got it at 6. 45 pm! No apilapolo, no sorry, and the delivery guy was expecting a tip! Of course he didn't get it!

Have been a customer for the past 10 years. The food is always lovely and fresh with great sized portions and it is definitely hands down the best Chinese takeaway in all of Hillingdon.

Food is tasty always like there choice of food

Nothing special about the food. It was all very average, the usual stuff you see on a million Chinese takeaway menus anywhere in the country. I'm sure that with very little effort, better food could be found locally. My big grievance with this place is not about the food, but the miserable, miserable woman who's job it is to welcome and serve the customers as they order their (quite expensive) dinner. How can anyone go through life being so glum? It doesn't matter what you say to her, or how much you try and instigate a conversation, she remains in the same miserable, depressive, melancholy state from the moment you walk up to the counter until the moment you open the door and leave. How is this good for business? Because I live locally, it would make sense for me to use The New Moon House as my regular Chinese takeaway, but I don't for the reasons I have mentioned. I am happier driving a couple of miles to an alternative takeaway, where I am greeted by my first name and a smile. That's what I'm talking about.

This is our favourite Chinese takeaway shop. All the usual items on the menu and they are all well cooked. Never have to wait too long and it is reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend the fried chilli shredded beef and also the sweet and sour chicken balls. Great food.

Good little take away Chinese. Food is good and made to order. This means there can sometimes be a wait They do a good soup as well as good salt and pepper squid.

I stopped here for an unplanned takeaway and it turned out to be a delicious experience. I have tried their special fried rice and it is very delicious. The taste is quite authentic and food is less oily, which is good. They accept card payments & no minimum amount to pay by card, which is good. There is a payed Car parking right in front of the takeaway and it cost £1 (max) per hour. Or free car parking nearby after 5:30pm weekdays. I recommend this Chinese takeaway. Thanks.

Took a while to cook this take away but was it certainly worth the wait. Very good meal. I will try here again.

La comida es completamente repugnante ni siquiera uno de inicio.Nos alojamos en el hotel es de fácil acceso al aeropuerto de Heathrow y cerca del hotel nos dio el folleto de este lugar o India para llevar.Elegimos Pizza y Pollo y cuando moom la llegada de alimentos a nosotros y nos gusto, fue así que tuvimos que echar disscusting todo en la basura era una gran pizza, alitas de pollo y una hamburguesa de pollo. También nos espera más de una hora para la entrega. Evita este lugar incluso si la oferta que comida gratis! ! Más grasienta y cook también no fresca absolutamente repugnante

lived in the area a long time and kind of got stuck to another establishment that went down hill ... tried new moon once and have used them since ... food is fresh tasty well cooked and the best ive had in a long time , makes me glad that my old regular went downhill as this is better ! cheers for the happy full be;lly !

I have ordered twice from here. Food is quickly made. I waited only ten minutes both times. Their curry sauce is fantastic! I can't wait to try more off the menu. Prices are reasonable too!

Specia Fried rice was excellent and so was the sweet and sour prawn balls. There were no other customers which I was a bit concerned about but I needn't have worried. It was all good stuff.

Pedimos 5 platos. Casa especial arroz; pollo Chow mein; pato y piña; carne, jengibre y Spring onion carne deshebrada y crujientes.La carne rallado, arroz y tallarines eran deliciosos. Sin embargo, no había mucha pato en el plato de pato y lo que teníamos era bastante húmedo. La carne, jengibre y cebolla de primavera era también bastante húmedo.Normalmente me gusta todo lo que era evidente que sólo un día. Volveré ya que suele ser uno de los mejores sitios chinos alrededor!

There is plenty to choose from the menu, the food has always tasted great, and I especially enjoy their style of chicken chow mein. It is run by the resident family and have never seen them be anything but polite to customers.
