An absolute pleasure to call this my local. Very professional and friendly staff. Gorgeous Sunday dinners prepared by a professional chef. A jewel in the sam smiths crown

Sam Smith's digital free pub. It was a little quiet on my visit, but what a GREAT pub! Beer (hand pulled and electric) was good, friendly staff, but no food available. Not sure why, they advertise food outside?

Utterly magnificent art deco pub! No kids, dogs or swearing as per usual strict Sam Smith rules, but staff are lovely and mobile phone ban means people just talk. Brilliant prices - including 2.20 a pint for Mild or their XXX bitter.

Unsure if they do food but had a bag of crisps with the gorgeous beers. Very reasonable. Very interesting art-deco interior & exterior. Hidden gem of a rear beer garden with picnic tables & children's play equipment on the grass. Great prices as it is a Sam Smiths Pub. 👍

Sam Smiths pub so the usual restrictions - no mobiles, TV , music, children or dogs. Proper Art Deco building (1937) although most of the interior is a 1993 refit, but still retains most of the feeling of the era. Three rooms plus bar servery with a real fire in each. Large grassed garden with playground equipment. Excellent and friendly couple running it who have been here for a number of years. Good as a chillaxing place.

Lovely small friendly village pub. Still has 2 cosey separated lounges (which we prefer and wish there were more pubs like this nowadays) each one has a traditional fireplace with real fire burning in wintertime. Good garden area for summer and for children to play, always enjoy a comfortable drink here 🙂

Fantastic pub. Everyone is friendly and I really enjoy the digital detox that gets people talking. The landlady and landlord (Lucy and Craig) and the staff, really do an amazing job of making sure that the customers feel welcome and part of the pub. The beer is great and the pub is extremely clean. I can not praise this pub enough for how well it is run, so get yourself down there and feel like part of the family as soon as you walk in the door.

I love Sam Smith's pubs as the beer is good and inexpensive. They don't play music or have tv either so you actually sit and talk. Landlord and Landlady are great, friendly people. Did here is always well cooked and presented. Add real fires, a Wednesday quiz and a cracking beer garden and you've got a cracking pub.

Lovely little restaurant, serving delicious food and drinks. My only gripe was that, although the food is delicious, there are other places in town that serve bigger portions for the same/less money. It was good food, but I left feeling a little hungry!

I want to be helpful to other consumers and to be honest our visit was really very poor! sorry Thai Edge! We went this evening (Wednesday) and ordered the Duck and a chicken fried rice. I have NEVER had such an awful meal , so we complained. We were not offered an alternative, and when it came to the bill noticed no change to the price. We explained that the duck was inedible (honestly) but had to wrangle at the till for nearly 15 minutes and evenually got a slight reduction on the bill. It wasn't about this at all but it really spoiled our night at seeing the light display in Leeds. No-one even bothered to check if the meal was OK, and it took ages to get someone to our table to address the problem. We felt upset and let down... In this day and age you MUST serve good food, and look after your client, or they won't be coming back! Awful food, awful service - sorry to have to write this but hope it helps others!
