We stayed for a weekend. Comfortable bed, very friendly service and a nice little pub with good food. Wonderful surroundings .

Simple pub with some rooms. A bit aging. Was okay for a stop for 1 night. Breakfast was a packed pastry and some Corn Flakes with milk, which was provided at check in. A bit remote place, not much else to do.

I was on holiday with my family in this area and this was the closest place so we decided to have dinner here. When we entered the room had the lights off and the waiter was almost surprised that we were there to eat. However he turned on the lights and made us sit. Service quite fast, cleanliness definitely needs improvement. A basic classic English pub menu and unfortunately almost half the menu was not available. We ordered two steak pies and some chicken fingers for the little girl and unfortunately the quality wasn't the best. I was hoping for something more reading the various reviews.

Very nice place. Thought it was nearer town but didn't matter too much. Lovely room and bathroom. Contained a bath and shower which was great. We ate dinner at hotel which was excellent. Extra large bed was very comfy too. Breakfast in room (continental) was as expected. I would recommend the Neuk though not if you are looking to go shopping as its a wee walk on a road with no pavement.

So pleased this place was open during the quiet season. I've never passed without stopping off some some food. The staff are lovely and on my visit before this one, I was on the motorbike and I was experiencing the British summer.....sheltering from the torrential rain the time passed by quickly thanks to a friendly fella manning the gift shop and some nice food. This time I just made it in time for a full breakfast - very welcome after being blinded by low level morning sun all the way from Inverness then dodging the ice in minus 6 degrees C once I hit the ski roads. Bloody marvellous! proper sausage, the black pudding was really tasty and everything was hot. I managed to bag an extra fried egg after many apologies from the lady serving me that the chef had managed to burst my yolk twice so they put both on as an a sorry. I ordered a black coffee which was one of those espresso machine jobbies I really hate for their harshness but this was pretty god. I didn't realise they did cafetieres until the very well spoken gent on a nearby table asked for one! Next time then. Love this place, makes the dreadful quality of the roads seem worth it...in such a remote area it's a gem and the prices are good, too!
