We ate in the bar as we had our dog with us. Mind you restaurant area was busy with Tuesday night bingo. House! My husband and I both had hunters chicken, chips and salad which was delicious and all freshly prepared. Mum and daughter team were running things. Both very friendly and dog lovers like ourselves.

We were staying in the village for the week and went into The Nags Head on our first night. Had a fantastic evening with very friendly staff, locals and dogs. Went back every night for a few pints and chat and had a great time every time. We ate on our last night and the food was very nice and good value. There is another pub in the village but we were made so welcome at The Nags Head that we never go round to trying it. Would recommend to all.

Absolutely amazing since being under new management, they really have turned this place around you used to not be able to walk past it without getting a wiff of the stench of overflowing bins but now all I can smell is the fresh cooked food made daily. The best roast dinner I’ve had in a long time me and my children loved it and even had dessert. Would recommend to anyone it’s lovely. Well done again for turning this place around.

The new management are fantastic. I came to The Nags years ago and loved it, recently came back to bardney and wow!! The place is even more amazing than before. We had the roast dinner from the new menu which was fabulous, the staff were so friendly and made us so welcome. We would thoroughly recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning.

As of the beginning of July, The Nags Head bArdney is under new management, had a full refurb, now become a fun and family pub run but a local family within the village. A full new staff team, brand new menu, drinks and activity’s within the establishment. This pub is dog friendly, family friendly and an all round lovely local pub. All of the staff are very excited for this new adventure and welcome anyone into it. Serving food as of 5-8 Tuesday to Thursday and 5-9 Friday Saturday and serving 12-4 a lovely Sunday roast! Any questions or queries please refer to the Facebook page where you can find the number to call or a messaging service with multiple staff replying to ensure quick answers, we look forward to seeing you all with us

Booked Sunday lunch as staying on moorings in the village. 3 course meal excellent value, one of which was the vegetarian main course and nicer than some pricier places we’ve eaten. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

A lovely little cafe with seating area overlooking the airfield. This is no 'Heathrow' but there's usually a few little aircraft pottering about. The cafe is in a portacabin sized building but don't let that put you off. The hot food is really good, the cakes make you put on pounds just looking at them and the coffee was smooth and hot. Expect a warm and friendly welcome from the team and the regulars. Prices are reasonable too.

Food (breakfast) tasted funny and we both commented on it. My friend thought she tasted vinegar and I thought it had a metallic taste. 20 mins after eating we both had tummy pains and diarrhoea (we are not a couple so live separately). Not sure if this has changed ownership but things have declined from when we last visited a few months ago. We will not be returning.

What a great find, found this place on the way to the coast. Had breakfast which was delicious, a very generous portion. Would definitely recommend this for a lunch or coffee stop. Whether you are driving, walking or cycling you will get great customer service. Thanks ladies and keep up the great work. Will definitely be back
