Have to say this place is amazing myself and hundreds of other event rental owners recently attended a trade show at 3 counties show ground and I organised an after show drinks and dinner at this venue, after contacting Charlie 10 days before he sent all of the food options where we booked a table for 10 during the next few days the numbers increased to 20 with constant calls to up the table size and more food choices added as we went , they even did 2 specials for a couple of children who was quite fussy eaters which was not a problem for them and even added another 3 guests to the booking 4 hrs before we was due to arrive, our table of 23 was all set , drinks constantly being served and food arrived in perfect timing no delays which can happen with such a large booking I cannot thank the staff enough you made the whole experience perfect and we be returning in October when the next trade show is thank you Charlie and all the staff at the nags head we will see you again soon

We ordered 2 roast beef dinners. The vegetables came on 1 side plate. (They only brought one veg out, but asked if we wanted another! It wouldn't have been so bad if the side plate was for 2 people, but it was designed for 1, so yes please @£16 each, bring the other veg out! Some people may feel pressured to say it's ok.) anyway. The meat was cooked nice, but tasted better. The roasties and Yorkie were a little hard. The veg a little uninspiring. Overall, a regular roast, nothing outstanding.

After a walk up the hill with my 6year old we decided to grab a Sunday roast on the way home. I am not a bit fussy about roasts as I love the way my roasts turn out and I find eating pubs roasts disappointing. So, that said, this roast was delicious! Yummy and fresh everything. Prompt service and all the extras. Only critique is the crackling could have been a little better but the rest was Fab for a really good price. We are outside in the March sunshine.

Nags Head is amazing. It's pretty much the dream pub. Amazing beer & cider. Great atmosphere every time. Warm, cosy. Never eaten so can't comment on food. As others say here would be the perfect local. As an expat Northener - they unusually serve a number of northern & Scottish beers. Kept to perfection. We all need to support places that serve amazing beers. Use it or lose it.

WOW! This is some place. We were staying in a cottage nearby and the Nags Head was recommended, and we could see why. It is deceiving from the outside, when you get inside there is a nice large separate restaurant, as well as a cosy bar and outside area. All were busy on a Saturday night, and you need to book. The menu is wide but mainly typical pub fayre, the staff were all very friendly and there is a nice atmosphere. I had sausages and mash, and my wife had one of the specials. Both were generous and high quality, and really good. There is a huge selection of beers and wines, and something for everyone. We'd love to try the Sunday Lunch next time we're in Malvern.

One of the best drinkers’ pubs in Malvern with a decent selection of draught beer and cider. The food’s been a bit of a let down for years though and recent experience shows it hasn’t changed unfortunately. Had fish and chips which was Ok and £17.50. The cheeseboard was a disgrace - two types of cheese, possibly Brie and cheddar - hard to tell as they tasted of nothing. There’s a separate restaurant, but I’m not really tempted to give that another go after this experience unfortunately. It’s a great place for a drink, but I’d eat elsewhere.

Almost drove past this pub as it isn't obvious from the side it is there. Good size outdoor seating area and you enter to a well stocked bar. A wide range of beer on tap and a warm welcome from the staff. Food was lovely, other than the chips which were really dry. Given the pub was very busy, and full to capacity, service times were good.

I wish The Nags head pub was my local!! The Nags Head is everything you want in a great, well, actually perfect pub. We had just come down from walking to the beacon (highly recommend doing that as well) and wanted to find somewhere for us to have a belly warming Sunday lunch for the three of us and Buster the dog. We stumbled on The Nags Head via a Google search and thank goodness for Google!! The welcome was so warm and friendly in what was an already busy pub, in fact packed pub. We found a table and collected a menu on the way. Open fires and a great atmosphere made us feel very welcome. We ordered our food at the bar and drinks at the same time. A Turkey roast, beef roast, and a veggy mushroom and cranberry roast for me. Drinks were delivered nice and quickly, Sarah said her coffee was the best in a pub for a long time. Our food took no time at all to arrive and by george it looked so good. Hot plates, great Yorkshire and the spuds, oh my. The bowl of steaming veggies topped it all off. My veggie roast was honestly so tasty, and the girls said their meat roasts were the best ever. We cleaned our plates. I have to say, I can not find anything negative to say about our experience or lunch at The Nags Head. I have worked in the hospitality industry all of my working life, and to stumble on somewhere this good is rare. I really do wish I lived closer. We will be back. I have been telly everyone how good this pub is. Well done, and I really mean it. Well done.

Excellent Sunday Lunch backed up with friendly staff and chilled, cosy atmosphere. Found this gem on Google after meeting friends for a dog walk on Malvern Hill. Luckily we booked a table as it was busy inside and outside from beginning to end. It’s a very dog friendly pub but equally if the 4 legged fur ball isn’t your thing, it’s also good for a family gathering or date night! We all tucked into the roast, my only criticism was I like my beef rare and it was more like medium well but we were at the 3:00 sitting so the juicy bits already eaten. We shared a lemon basil tiramisu which was phenomenal and generous portion! We will definitely return when our calves allow us to move again!

Ate here on a Saturday evening a few weeks ago with a friend visiting from China who is about as fussy about anything and everything as it is possible to get. She was blown away by the food, service and ambience. During her three weeks in the UK we ate at some very nice and expensive restaurants around the UK, including in London, and this was the only meal she described as being gourmet, and the absolute best she had whilst here. We both had the seabass, which was cooked to perfection, and neither of us could believe how some simple potatoes and tenderstem broccoli could be so tasty and delicious. A very simple meal, but presented like something from a TV cookery competition by the friendliest of staff. I would go so far as to say this was the best meal out I have ever had ..... amazing. I normally only ever drink beer at the Nags, which is always good with plenty of choice, and a vibrant atmosphere, but this will now be my go to place for a meal out in Malvern .... excellent in every possible way.

Excellent ales... Some of the best in the Midlands. So 5 stars for beer. But my reason for the low rating is their ridiculous dining restrictions. I went in the pub at 6.30pm on a Saturday night after a hard day on the hills. There were abundant tables free. But incredibly, they said you cannot eat at any table outside of the dining room... An area which I never saw or frequented. I then asked if we could have a table in the 'dining area' (wherever that was) but was told sorry we are fully booked tonight. This is at 6.30pm! So after a swift couple of pints we left. The barman kindly suggested that if we wanted to eat, there was a Chinese takeaway nearby... Yes, exactly what we wanted after travelling from Birmingham for the day. So in conclusion, this is a great pub that pretends to be a restaurant and falls woefully short. Make up your minds and start serving food at the tables!

A warm welcome from the lovely lady behind the bar (Sam) Very friendly pub and recommended a Sunday Roast and I can honestly say it did not disappoint. Generous portions and you could tell everything was fresh and locally sourced. Would definitely recommend if in the area, especially if you're staying at Stanbrook Abbey as its a short hop over the grass right into the beer garden 😉

This is a beautiful pub, and the two girls who took care of us were so friendly and helpful. I had the roast beef sandwich, and it was great. Super great value for money as it was homemade thick bread and so very filling. Nothing but great things to say about this place!
