another one of our go to Chinese restaurants been coming here for the last 12yrs great service great food even after the change of ownership its still exactly the same quality food there chicken curry beautiful

Although this restaurant is in York we travel from Scarborough. We had booked for a surprise get together for my sons 16th birthday. The service from us walking in the door to leaving was amazing. We were a party of 11, having the Sunday lunch buffet. The food arrived, all piping hot and absolutely outstanding. The value for money, the amazing staff and the outstanding food, is worth the drive any day of the week. Well done everyone, see you again very soon

This is a hidden gem!! The lunch time set menu deals during the week are beyond absolutely brilliant on their own & the Sunday lunch is also just as outstanding for the price! We come here regularly and it's a treat on every trip!

This is a great place for Cantonese cuisine. We ordered salt n pepper squid and the honey sesame chicken starter. Both were superb. For the adventurous mix the 2 starters together for a taste sensation. Mains were the Singapore Chow Mein and the Sizzling Fillet Steak in bean sauce. Truly awesome!!! We will be back again without a doubt.

Food was amazing and came out very quickly. Really decent range of stuff to choose from. Staff were brilliant and very nice. Nice and spacious - our table for 8 was really big with a handy lazy Susan in the middle (really cool!). Very reasonably priced. Generous portion sizes also. We have been looking for a good Chinese take away for as long as we can remember. The Mulan was recommended by our good friend Miles, so we ordered a take away last night (14/04/23). My wife and I both agreed that it was the best Chinese food we have ever tasted! The king prawn in ginger and onions was to die for, as was the chicken chow mien and sweet and sour chicken. It is collection only, which we didn't mind as it is near to where we live and the staff serving were lovely, polite and attentive. This is now going to be our go to Chinese takeaway and we will definitely be ordering again very soon! The food was hot and was full of vegetables (went to another one recently that was just different colours of beige), whereas the food at The Mulan was colourful and very fresh. Big thank you to all at The Mulan - it was really lovely.

me and my partner both thoroughly enjoyed, hands down the best we’ve had. it’s a 40 minute drive from us but it’s 100% worth it and we will be back. Food was very well priced, delicious! and the staff were attentive and very friendly. Thankyou for the great experience and we will most definitely see you soon!

Called here for lunch today .My step daughter and I ordered the crispy spring rolls,these should be renamed cabbage rolls , as they were all they consisted of.My husband had soup ,which was thin ,tasteless and watery.As for the main course my husbands meal was brought out with the rice and we were left to wait while others tables were being served.Our main course eventually arrived and my sweet and sour was small and next to no sauce,cold and very disappointing,the other main course of was not eaten as was told had a very strange taste.Staff were miserable gave us the impression that we were not welcome.Will not be back or recommending to anyone
