“I really like their menu, which offers a great selection of Chinese cuisine from various regions. The flavors are enjoyable, and I’m looking forward to coming back to try more dishes.

I GOT FOOD POISONING FROM THIS PLACE!! If i could give this place 0 stars i would. Avoid at all costs we got the duck spring rolls, chicken bites and beef noodles delivered on deliveroo. I was carried into hospital A&E the next day! Please I am warning you do not eat from this place unless you want food poisoning.

The store front is quite misleading; small in front but big in the back. Their cooking is homestyle and honestly really, really good. Highly recommend their noodles...

Ordered the curry stewed beef brisket egg noodles and it was honestly so delicious. The portion size was massive so I was sadly unable to finish it all and the regret began to kick in a couple hours later when i got hungry again haha. The beef was so juicy and tender and I would highly recommend this dish. However, I also ordered the strawberry sweetheart (pictured on the left) which had a rather off-putting colour and although it did taste sweet and like strawberries, it had an artificial taste to it which was not my cup of tea. But overall, it was a lovely experience and I would definitely come again :)

Delicious, cheap and big portions, The service of the little brother is very good 👍 But everyone must be early! Said it was until 11:30 But many times the fried dough sticks and bean paste are sold out early! I advise everyone to call before coming to eat! Bass no Duck doesn't No pork belly ! ! ! I'm starving and have to choose the dishes again and again!

We came for breakfast and had the wonton soup and cheung fun. A good sized portion of food, with the option to get a set meal for £10 total. Would definitely come again for breakfast.

We had a lovely meal here. The staff were very helpful to my aged father, and the menu was more extensive and more authentically Chinese than many other Chinese restaurants I've tried. The servers were great and the food was delicious and excellent value. Definitely worth the full five stars.

Hainanese chicken rice was decent. Unfortunately, the service was very poor. Waited 45minutes to be served a lukewarm Hong Kong coffee tea drink and tap water, after asking 3 times. Other tables who ordered after us were served first, so it felt very unfair. 1 hour wait for food, sat at the table with nothing to drink for 45 minutes is pretty awful service.

I ordered a pig's foot rice, but it was not at all what I had expected. It was sweet and had unrelated side dishes such as bamboo shoots and dried bean curd. It was not authentic Chinese food. Some employees don't have a basic service attitude.

I ate the rice noodles and pickled fish here in the evening. Not long after eating, I felt sick to my stomach and vomited twice! I really don’t know if it’s a food safety issue? Pickled fish is obviously the kind of frozen fish fillet that doesn’t taste good. What a disappointment.

I love the authentic food, especially noodle soup! The service was great. a lil expensive but that's definitely because we ordered a lot. 10/10 would definitely recommend

We had duck spring rolls and chicken salt and pepper wings to start, Both were tasty. For mains we had chicken sweet&sour with egg fried rice and Malaysian coconut curry with duck and egg fried rice. Both mains were delicious and a generous amount of food. A lovely friendly service from staff, would definitely recommend

Definitely one for the soup lovers. The choice of soup bases is pretty impressive and the combination of noodle meats make this place special. There are about 6 different type of broth and even more combinations of pork/beef/chicken with vegetables /chill. Just to many to list. If you like soup noodles you could probably spend a year here going through each combination. For us classic broth, pork and vegetables plus a Golden broth beef and vegetables. Both delicious, served quickly in simple cafe surroundings. Excellent value and choice.

Pretty authentic, had the hainan chicken, chicken and bamboo soup as well as the frog and garlic stir fry

Nanchang mixed rice noodles are good and taste good. The ramen noodles are hard to describe. They are better when eaten than when kneaded with flour, and they break easily. We had two big backpacks, and the waiter asked us to sit at a small table. Just want to ask you, just ignore the needs of diners. He also told me that "all tables for four have been booked." But after I finished eating, there were not many four-person tables in use. You can choose any location at any Western restaurant.

Hainanese chicken rice tastes ok but the rice is not hot enough

As soon as you step into the restaurant, you will be greeted by Chinese elements all over the wall, which is very friendly! It's very popular, but the rice noodle soup and so on taste mediocre.

El caldo era rico, sabroso y tenía un sabor increíblemente auténtico, con fideos perfectamente cocinados e ingredientes frescos. I've been here many times, but the service is getting worse and worse. My friend who ordered together had already finished his meal before telling me that the item he ordered was gone and that he had to order again. The recommended taste is average.

A decent Chinese food restaurant. The staff are very friendly and the environment is clean and comfortable. The price is very reasonable and the portion is big. We ordered some golden soup beef noodles which was very delicious. The broth was rich and the beef was tender. I truly enjoyed it. However the Singaporean fried rice was a bit too dry and plain. That’s the reason why I have it 4 stars. There were many options on the menu that I would love to try if I have a chance to visit again.

We were incredibly fortunate to stumble on this place with the help of Google maps. The food was delicious, the menu extensive.....easily the nicest noodles and ramen we have ever had. Absolutely delicious.

Es bastante agradable por dentro, los precios están bien. ¿Y la comida? La salsa satay de pollo era muy ponzoñosa - me gustó, aunque el pollo en sí podría haber sido de mejor calidad. Los fideos de Singapur eran buenos. Una sopa de fideos de pollo era sabrosa, aunque mi solicitud de un poco de especias fue recibida con un golpe - su - cabeza de nivel de especias que estaba bien para mí, pero puedo imaginar que sería demasiado para algunos! De nuevo, pensé que la calidad del pollo podría haber sido mejor.

Very tasty. Beef brisket Malaysian curry & rice, Hainanese chicken & rice, and some soups. Delicious. The HK Salted Lemon drink was great too. We’ll be back soon’!

Got take out for collection from here. Was the best noodle soup I've had since I was in Paris 7 years ago at a little place called Happy noodles. I have been trying to fine somewhere similar since and this place has filled a hole in my heart. I only live a five minute walk away and will be back very often

Went on a recommendation from a friend and had a takeaway and was not disappointed. Had the salt & pepper chicken bites for a starter which were very nice with plenty of onion and chilli and then shared a noodle broth for a main. Absolutely delicious, the golden broth with ramen noodles and beef brisket was amazing, the noodles and beef were in a separate bowl and we added the broth which was so tasty. We alternated between spoonfuls of broth and then the noodles and beef and all I can say is that there was enough to share between the two of us! We will definitely be going again!!!

When I came to York to travel, I did my homework on Xiaohongshu and decided to come to Mixiang. The soup base of the fat intestine rice noodles and golden soup beef rice noodles is very rich, the fat intestines are also very thin, and the processing is very clean. We added tiantou golden tripe and enoki mushrooms. Unfortunately, the Lotus Pond Stir-fried dish was disappointing. The small plate was no bigger than a friend's hand, and the asking price was 10 pounds 8. There were no lotus root slices in the dish, only carrots, snow peas, fungus and celery. Among them, the snow peas and celery are very old and the roots have not been removed. Later, after discussing the portion size with the waiter, we added a little more snow peas. After tasting this dish, we were not satisfied. Do not recommend this dish. While touring York, we did our homework on Xiaohongshu and decided to visit Mijiang. The pork intestine rice noodles and the beef brisket rice noodle soup were both rich in flavor, and the pork intestine was lean and well-prepared. We also added the money belly and enoki mushrooms. Unfortunately, the lotus root stir-fry was disappointing; the portion was small, priced at £10.80, and lacked lotus root, containing only carrots, snow peas, wood ear mushrooms, and celery. The snow peas and celery were quite old, with roots and stems not removed. After informing the waiter about the portion size, they added a few more snow peas, but we were still unsatisfied with the dish. Not recommending this dish.

Found this place by accident. The place has interesting menu, authentic chinese food and has low prices. About 90% of the customer were of asian origin, which is a good sign for asian restaurant. Its not necessarily the cleanest and most organised restaurant: the tables were a bit sticky and the lights were blinking above our table. However, the food was delicious.

Great Chinese restaurant, the rice noodles are delicious! Highly recommend the Jintang Feiyu Rice Noodles, the price is affordable, the boss and staff are very nice, I will come back often😊

Lovely place! Delicious food — spicy, hearty, and wholesome. Really rare to find such a good rich Chinese noodle soup available vegetarian (their default broth is meat-based but they offer vegetarian on request). All dishes we tried were excellent, served quickly, and good value for money. Great vibe to the place too — packed with students on a weeknight, bustling but not too noisy.

As a Jiangxi native, it’s no wonder that I can eat authentic rice noodles in a foreign country!

THE BEST Chinese food we've ever had, we went at Christmas and had to travel back there this weekend and it did not disappoint, staff are really friendly and my kids loved the noodle bowls 👌

Street food without any fan fare

Stumbled upon this noodle joint when we were in York for the snooker. Generous portions and good selection of soup bases. Can’t ask for more really.

The noodle was okay, we had the mala pork intestine and the satay beef brisket noodle. Really like the decorations in the restaurant, but the noodle is definitely on the pricier side but maybe that is the normal price point in York.

We love duck and this restaurant offers several dishes with crispy duck. The crispy duck fried rice was loaded. Every fork full of rice had duck and the serving size was more than I could eat. Went crazy and ordered duck spring rolls too... excellent!! The best recommendation is probably that the place was full, and we were the only non-Asians. No tourist trap food here.

Lovely authentic food, staff were lovely especially Venus. We had the duck & pancakes. salt & pepper cod & chicken to start and all were fabulous & portions were very generous. Mains were House Special Fried Rice, Chow Mein & Curry. Best Chow Mein we have had in years. Would highly recommend 👌

Absolutely revolting. Charging top prices For very very low grade plastic chicken. £33 for two small dishes, a boiled rice and two cans of coke.

Overall, really good. The Southern-style house specialties are excellent: full of flavour without compromising on heat, while the rest of the menu is well made Cantonese-style dishes: think 'ho fan' noodles, roast duck and salt and pepper squid. The restaurant is calm and peaceful inside, and you're met with friendly and efficient service. Would happily recommend.

The restaurant's sour soup noodles are very delicious. The portion of fried beef river is so big that one person can't finish it. The taste of milk tea and cocktails is really not inferior to that of professional milk tea shops and bars. The service attitude of the waiters is also very good.

Amazing food, great service, cute place, tons of delicious vegan options. We cable in quite late and they were so kind to us. The salt and pepper tofu is to die for! Aaa so good!! I loved their Ramen! They gave my boyfriend a fork but me chopsticks 😎 i feel special for this . So underrated for cocktails. Omg They had some really good drinks, on the pricey side but if you have money to splash is worth it :)

My friend and I was looking for a nice place for lunch and we stumbled upon this one, we were greeted by a young girl who showed us to the table, an English a la carte menu was given to us unbeknown to us the next table was given a Chinese menu when we saw what they ordered would have been what we’d loved to have ordered, we had not been asked or given that option by the girl, we waited what seemed ages for someone to take our order and finally a young man came, when the drinks arrived, it’s was jasmine tea (tea bag) and there was only one tea bag in a big tea pot for 2 , we challenged that and the lady owner said it’s regulations! Really?? Regulations to charge £2.80 per person but only give one tea bag?? The owner was rather petty but it means we have paid for a meal which portion size was small and expensive for one vegetarian tofu hotpot and shredded chicken with 2 small bowls of plain rice £33.68 , so not too much to ask for a decent pot of tea for two ( not with one tea bag) diluted, so will not recommend or go back again!

I came here specifically to eat Nanchang noodles. How could I imagine that I could eat such authentic Chinese folk snacks in the UK? The service attitude is very polite, but unfortunately the white rice used in the restaurant is not up to par, so one star will be deducted... However, there are discounts for receiving cash, and you will be instantly delighted, and you will receive the discounted star back!

Five-star recommendation! The ramen is particularly strong. I recommend the spicy beef ramen and the five-spice beef tendon. I haven’t tried the others yet. I’ll try something else next time🤤

Food was awful chicken fried rice with skin in it, cheap cut meats with no taste whatsoever in the beef curry sauce and expensive to top it all off threw most of it away food job it was closed the next morning because I would have handed it back and asked for my money, God awfull worst ever had.
