Fui aquí por té crema y el hecho de que no era una cadena de café. El té crema estaba bien, pero todo estaba en un plato como la mermelada, crema coagulada, etc.

We had lovely drinks here sitting outside in the sunshine. A nice little location, tucked away at the side of Greenwich market. Great cakes.

Miles better than yesterday's disappointing visit to Caffè Concerto in Covent Garden. Hidden down a narrow side street just off Greenwich Market, it's worth stopping for coffee and cake, and a friendly welcome.

We managed to get a table upstairs for drinks and cake. I had a masala tea which was delicious, spicy and not too sweet, nicely warming on a cold day. We tried some Victoria sponge as well as a pistachio and chocolate cake which were both nice quality.

I have been frequenting Monsoon café all summer 🌞 In many respects it has become a centre of my universe. There are many contributing factors that make this tea room/café my epicenter of activity. These is the geographical location just an 8-10 minute walk from Greenwich pier. You can be majestically galavanting around London on the glorious River Thames and stop off at Greenwich. Tourists you can travel around the River Thames on the Uber Shuttle boat like a water taxi! Greenwich is a place with a great naval history. And that is why you have a regal feeling alighting the Uber Shuttle boat at the pier. As you make your way to Greenwich Market the Monsoon Café is on a passageway that goes through the very centre of the market and along that passageway is Monsoon with tables outside,on the ground floor and in the first floor. A unique atmosphere exhists in a family run business like Monsoon like visiting an old friend. That unique feeling of just chilling out in a nice café/tea room. The creamed tea's never disappoint homemade by a local person. The scones are just as I like them medium sized, fresh and moist to perfection. With clotted cream and strawberry jam, topped off with Twinning's tea for only £6.50 that is very reasonable for London. This is more of a nicely ordinary cafe, not too posh or costly. The doorstep sandwiches never disappoint my favourite is cheese with salad and onion with Mayonnaise. There are lots of other goodies on the menu but these are my choices everytime because, it's so familiar in the days gone by when London once had cafés like this everywhere, but have almost entirely disappeared now. With a simple good menu with good wholesome reasonably priced food. Combined with it's location it's the perfect stop off on your travels around London. The perfect place to chill out with family and friends on your travels. And once you have seen Greenwich just hop back onto the Uber Shuttle boat and blast off to another location. I have become to regard Monsoon café as my Riverside terminaus point in my travels around the river Thames. So be like Tom Sayer and Huckleberry Finn rolling up and down the river stopping off at Monsoon for a creamed tea at Greenwich pier, and a nice sandwich too or whatever you fancy on your travels and you won't be disappointed.

I can't believe of all the reviews here people go on about this place as if it's no big deal. It's fabulous in a very simple English way. They make "1970s style flashback" doorstep cheese and salad sandwiches to die for. But oh my god their creamed teas are fabulous. Locally made georgous homemade scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream. They serve Twinning's tea! THESE CREAMED TEAS ARE NOT EXPENSIVE EITHER! I have been to far more expensive tea rooms in London and they are no better than this charming little tea room. So check it out!

We were delighted to find this little hidden gem on our path after visiting the Maritime Museum in Greenwich. Just off Greenwich Market, it has a complete menu, although we limited ourselves to hot chocolate, latte and cake. Everything was delicious. The ambience is cosy, and the staff is nice and helpful.

What a great lunch for family with picky kids! We ordered 3 panini sandwiches, crisps, a few fresh squeezed juices, a smoothie and a milkshake. The watermelon juice was so good my kid asked for a second glass. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the staff was very helpful. Than you!

Lovely little place with amazing, friendly service and fair pricing. A cute but awkward location if you want to sit outside with more than two people. Simple but tasty food and beverages, a great find for a day out in Greenwich.

Had a pitstop here for a panini and a coffee whilst enjoying Greenwich. A clean cafe and hygiene standards were good. I had the Sun dried tomato, avacado, spinach and cheese panini and my Mum had the tuna melt. Both were lovely, and they were hot! Mum order a cup of tea and it came in a nice big cup and I had a Mocha which was lovely aswell. Toilet upstairs was clean and well kept. We sat inside and were really pleased with the service and the feel of the place! If we were local we would stop here more often! Prices were very reasonable, I would say “Northern” prices as apposed to London prices, so that made us very happy! Staff are friendly and polite! Would definitely stop here again!

This is a review of the purchase made from their Greenwich Market stand. I’m not the first person who complained about the abysmal quality of their products in comparison with the astronomical prices. I finally decided to buy their pistachio Croll and it was the biggest waste of £7 I ever experienced in terms of food. The pastry was so stale, it could have at least few days. But the worst was the filling. It never even saw a single pistachio. It was a bland SOMETHING that didn’t even had a taste. I took two bites and threw the rest to the garbage bin. Do yourself a favour and read the reviews. Maybe it’s good enough for vegans, but if I pay £7 for a single pastry, I expect quality and not some stale garbage
