Nice pub but there are better value places in Rawmarsh, it does have swings etc for kids on the front so on that respect it's better than most pubs in the area

We had a celebration of life for my brother in law. We ordered the buffet and it was really nice, far better than we expected. The staff were lovely and the room was clean.

Attended a 60th party here ok as pubs go, parking is a bit of a pain..

Nice pub nice people and of course the adorable Miller. It has wheelchair access but no wheelchair accessible toilet.....what's the point 🤔

The Monkwood is a great friendly little pub, the owners are very nice and polite, drinks are reasonably priced, there isn't a great deal of seating available but it is still a great choice for a few drinks. It has lots of outdoor seating as well as an outdoor children's play area. Inside there is a pool table and some nights the pub also hosts games such as poker night. It also offers a free function room.

Done many parties as an entertainer at this pub the staff are amazing lovely venue and highly recommend

It's ok but could do with updating only went as we were invited to a party. We are used to cheaper drink prices in our local working men's club.

Scruffy pub, carpets, seating, tables sticky and toilets dirty with no lock on the one i used. Wouldn't go again even though i was at a party. Staff pleasant enough but that's it.

Just a great local pub to go to, everybody gets on ,plenty of banter about football, great choice of drinks and Paul and Christine are the hosts with the most, always guaranteed a warm welcome at the Monky

It's a bit untidy liking, drinks expensive for where it's situated. Wouldn't recommend it.

Nice place that is trying to keep the doors open. The function room is good for a range of "do's", in this case it was a wake and the buffet was very nice. Bar staff are all friendly. The decor and outside kids play areas could do with a bit of TLC but at least they are keeping the doors open, hats off to them!

A good local pub has function room car parking out door garden seating and play area.

Brilliant Landlord and Lady with an awesome dog called Miller. Very friendly and welcoming. Local pub with an open feel to new comers. Always someone willing to have a general chat with who ever. Very welcoming. During the world cup they laid on some good grub and sent round packets of free little garlic breads and brochette which was a nice touch. We used to use this venue for our managers meetings and the function room is often quite enough for these meetings.

Brilliant 80's night the music was fantastic an amazing atmosphere the drinks were flowing and prices are fantastic and the land lady and land lord are amazing people and got involved with everyone
