An open mic night here in St Agnes at the MMI. Really good venue.

Perfect for any occasion, whether a meeting, coffee shop or larger event venue.

Such a cute little cafe set at the top of the hill. Staff were lovely and friendly! The sun was out so we sat outside, a good amount of seating outside and inside. The hot chocolate was delicious and adorned with cream and roasted marshmallows! Tea was tea, hot and wet! The cinnamon swirl was absolutely delicious!! Wish there were a few more vegan friendly options for cakes - there was at least one option though! 🌱

Only went there for 18th birthday family get together, had Sunday lunch nice....

The Institute Sunday lunch was a fabulous experience! Such generous portions of everything we had to take some home! Vasey and his team are simply the best!! Any other establishment would find this hard to beat!! 🤩🤩

Fantastic service and food, especially the Bread Pudding Danish. Varied brunch menu. Great venue. Affordable parking nearby, next to the library.

Came in here for a quick coffee while walking the South West Coastal Path. Nice coffee and nice company from the barista Oscar 👍.

It wasn't too busy and the service was immediate. If the place is really busy there can be a wait because there is only one member of staff. I had piece of fruity flapjack which was delicious, with my hazelnut latte.

Good priced beer with friendly patrons. Pool table and dart board available.

Ace find! Needed a sit and coffee and what a find! Great locally roasted coffee. Homemade cakes. Perfect!

Popped in here today from a suggestion from my mum,was very impressed the two staff members were very welcoming and friendly,coffee was good tosted teacakes were lovely and my daughter had a amazing milkshake and flapjack she was very happy with both and they are dog friendly.

Fantastic food and coffee in the centre of the village with a car park close by. Can particularly recommend the cakes and the soup. Excellent place to start or finish a walk of this historic village.

A hidden gem. Great coffee, excellent food and friendly staff. Ask Jenny for two soups 😀 Love the cake too. Lots of space with comfy chairs to sit in confort and a car park (free for 1 and a half hours) close by.

Lovely coffee break stop before walking to St Agnes Head to trek park of the South West Coast Path. It’s based within the old men’s mechanical institute which seems to be a Locum hub of activities. There’s no meals served but we had a toasted tea cake with coffee and there’s a few cakes on offer. Special mention for Evie who served us and helped with some directions to our start point (as well as making our brews), she has a lovely manner.

Called in for lunch. Great mixture on the menu ended up having a meal, one of the specials of the day. Food and plates lovely and hot, staff very friendly and cleaning tables, kids toys & the menu pages with a proper spray. Main let down is car parking as there is none close by, on street parking 2 minutes walk there is a bus stop outside the door.

It's good to have this space in our village and needs to be used by the locals. Lots going on here and the Cuckoo Cafe does nice coffee and homemade cakes! Good place to meet for coffee and a chat and visit the Community market which is run once a month on a Saturday.
