This is as a traditional pub as you are going to get. Owners were really friendly and the food menu was spot on. This pub is located off the main road but is very easy to find. Not much parking outside but there is a road opposite, which is where we parked. These sort of hidden gems need to be supported so definitely pop in if you are local, even if it's just for a drink.

Unfortunately, this is an old run down place that hasn’t been updated in a long time. There was no music which made the place even more unwelcoming.. The staff weren’t really trying to be nice and I felt like my presence was a nuisance in itself. Sorry but if I’m going to be charged close to 10 pounds for a panini, I would certainly hope it would be more than a piece of bread with a couple of crisps. The selection of drinks were meagre. And not sure how, but they also have managed to give food poisoning to two vegetarians! This place could really do with a makeover.

A small, dogfriendly pub that surprised us by serving excellent food! I had chicken with bacon in creamy pesto sauce with tagliatelle and roasted cashews which was delicious. My partner had the steak pie and loved it, perfect pastry with lots of meat in very tasty sauce.

Cosy traditional pub with a few nice ales on draft. The landlord and lady are extremely welcoming and make you feel right at home. There is a lovely open fire with further traditional decor. The food is homely traditional pub grub; for example steak pie, lasagne, haddock fish cakes, lamb shank and steaks etc. We had the lamb shank and steak pie, which came with chips and peas. Both were extremely nice and I am looking forward to trying more of the menu on my next visit. The lamb shank was extra special. Please note that this pub doesn't open every night during winter however I believe it does in the busier summer months.

This is a homely warm and very traditional English pub that we discovered whilst on our way to North Devon beach. When we entered we were immediately struck by the warmth and rustic feel of this little gem. The locals and staff made us feel very welcome, and the food was fresh tasting and cooked to a high standard. I enjoyed the Steak and Kidney Pie which was packed full of tender succulent meat in lots of gravy and a light puff pastry crust. Thoroughly recommend to hungry and travellers passing by!

A gem of what pubs used to be like. Nice people and clientele with a landlord that knows how to look after his beer. Home cooked food and a real fire! Worth stopping for and only one minute from the A361 South Molton southern roundabout.

Half the buffet missing, flat coke, staff were nice but still charged full price knowing full menu not available and my lad ate nothing... Will not be returning, which is a shame as heard good reviews... Food wasn't the standard Im used to, no pleasure in giving a bad review, hate to be down on small business but up your game considerably!

this was my first time trying taco bell and i was really looking forward to it but instead i was thoroughly disappointed. i ordered it on uber eats so i didn’t go into the store, although i’ve heard the cleanliness is lacking i haven’t seen it for myself so i can’t really comment on that. the food was not very nice and the portions were a lot smaller than anticipated, i ordered a large fries and the bag was so small i’d hate to see what their idea of an actual small portion is. i spent over £30 on food for me and my partner and we got hardly anything, i’d say we got maybe £15 worth of food as the portions were so small. the food itself didn’t taste very nice either and i’ve been feeling extremely sick since eating it 4/5 hours ago, i’m not sure if this is the poor hygiene in the store or how greasy the food was. i wouldn’t recommend and certainly won’t be eating here again. i feel robbed of my money

Great pub and restaurant unfortunately not serving Sunday lunch. Restaurant section was closed on our visit. The excellent food and facilities are way ahead of the floor staff and table service. On our visit, the bar was excessively noisy with rowdy locals.
