Really good breakfast! Ice atmosphere and friendly staff! Will definitely come back, and try to find a camping space there aswell.

Great food and service, I would highly recommend.

Visited in July 2024. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. We had fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding for desert. Pudding was a bit over sweetened and chips (more like potato wedges) weren’t the best however still nice. Bit of a wait to get the bill but very friendly staff and place is clean and cosy. Parking is available and it’s easy to find.

We had a beautiful meal here with family. I forgot to take photos of the food because I was so hungry! The Mushroom, Spinach and Red Onion Panini was lovely, and was served with salad, crisps and some sort of cold pasta with dressing. We had a side of chips as well which were so good. Everything tasted amazing. They prepared multiple vegan options for one member of our group. Everything was presented beautifully, would definitely visit again. Was a little loud as there were two parties happening at the same time while we were there, but we did go on a Saturday so it’s to be expected.

Been a few times over last couple of years and always perfect. Afternoon Tea is amazing. Friendly staff and cosy room. Only issue, not open enough and into evenings.

I was trolling about looking for a coffee, when the review for this beautiful place popped up and planted a roast dinner ear worm in my head. Honestly, it IS the best roast I've ever had. I believe the chef must love cooking as it was exquisite to look at and furthermore to eat 😋 👌

Me and my wife had the Christmas Dinner just before Christmas. My wife really enjoyed the meal and I ate all of my meal.

We celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday here last night, and had a wonderful time. Sophia was extremely helpful, and all the staff were attentive. The food was amazing- not one complaint from anyone! It had such a lovely atmosphere and was beautifully decorated - staff were very gracious about the fact we had a couple of noisy/boisterous 4 year old boys too... We would definitely come again. Don’t be put off by the fact that this restaurant is based next to a campsite. This is one of the best quality menu’s in north wales, absolutely delicious!

Had a family breakfast here and the lady serving us was so welcoming and friendly, she went out of her way to look after our grandson (15 months). The breakfast was beautiful and plentiful and I had a craving for Welsh Cakes which were served warm and fresh with my breakfast. Such a lovely place and staff, just a shame it wasn’t open for the whole week we stayed at the camp site. Although my waistline may say differently! Thank you so much

I bought my four sisters and brother gift vouchers for afternoon tea at the Mill. The afternoon tea was amazing and we we're very well looked after by the friendly and helpful staff. We all agreed that we will definitely be returning. Thank you to Sophia and the staff , looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Here for a wake, so not seeing the venue under normal circumstances. Staff are lovely, and location looks like it will be awesome come better weather.

just the best sunday dinner ever

Food was middling. Had a panini had to send it back burnt and hard. Had another one Was much better could understand the wait if it was busy but there were only 10 people there ,we were 3 of the 10

Very good service, good admaspher cosy lovely coffee and food.

We had some drinks this place, after each glass price went higher for the same thing. I thought this is only practiced in night clubs.

Christmas dinner on Christmas Day was excellent. Thank you to all the staff for being there and for being in good humour. Brilliant.

I could eat here breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great choice and excellent food. All three boys aged 5,11 and 12 loved as well. What a good find.

Amazing and authentic Welsh breakfast. Service was nicer and the ambiance is rustic yet fresh.

We booked an afternoon tea after being gifted a voucher .The food was lovely. The platter was plentiful with beautiful sandwiches , scones eclairs raspberry meringues, carrot cake and bara brith. We had to have a cake box as couldnt eat it all! Staff friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend and will be back

Fab onsite restaurant. Its in a converted old mill. Nice attentive staff, great choice of wines and beers. The food is clearly freshly prepared and reasonably priced. A big thumbs up! Booking is advised on a weekend!

This place is delightful. We had breakfast here two days on the go because it was so wonderful. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The coffee is amazing and the Full Welsh breakfast is the stuff of dreams. If you're nearby or on the riverside campsite, save yourself the cooking and washing up and head up for breakfast. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for the great food.

Very good food, closes early (5pm).

Poor customer service from the minute we stepped foot inside. Asked for a reservation for a Friday evening, abruptly told £10 per person deposit (even for a child!), no reason or T&C’s about the deposit advised. We nipped in for a quick coffee and cake the next morning (a few mins before 11am). Again rude and unwelcoming staff. There were two tables of people sat in with plenty of tables available, we were just told these were all booked for 12 or 1pm. Even after us explaining again we only wanted a quick drink (and cake) & wouldn’t exactly take over an hour to do this! We did manage to get shoved in the corner and got our drinks (and cake). We realised when the drinks arrived we had been charged £3 for a very small glass of children’s cordial! Having checked the menu this was wrong so had to ask for a refund from a grumpy staff member. At the same time we decided that this place wasn’t for us for our planned evening meal so asked to cancel our evening booking and get our refund back. Unhelpful staff again not wanting to refund us straight away saying not entitled. Did finally get it with the staff member who refunded us saying, ‘Don’t come here again’ I tell you what, we don’t want to visit such a horrid place, never have we experienced such rude staff!!! I would AVOID this place.

We really enjoyed a pleasant lunch, with the pudding being particularly nice. I will say that our batch of chips were a bit dry (overcooked), but not enough to stop us from scoffing them.

This was the first time we have been here. It was honestly the best Sunday lunch we have had in Caernarfon. It was a set menu for Easter Sunday. We had three courses and coffee afterwards. Very reasonably priced. The food and the service were spot on. Will definitely be returning here. Highly recommend The Mill Bistro.

We eat at the Mill often and the food and service is second to none. Always a warm welcome from staff who go above and beyond.

Pretty shocking hypocrisy when I forgot my mask and was turned away by a member of staff also not wearing a mask when the entire place was empty. We were just saying how we’d want to camp here next time we visit but would rather sleep in my car then stay somewhere that is opening hypocritical. Don’t milk The pandemic to be rude and lose your manners.

Beautiful food, wonderful (covid safe) service and a beautiful restaurant. Visited whilst staying in Llamberis on a walking holiday. Had the sirloin steak which melted in the mouth and was cooked perfectly. Would definitely return next time we are in the area. Update: We came back to The Mill today 1 year on and it is just as good as before. Today we had sautéed mushrooms, steak, meatballs, sticky toffee pudding and creme brulee. All of which were perfectly cooked and tasted great. The staff were helpful and friendly. All covid-19 safety procedures still in place to make you feel safe. I recommend booking rather than just turning up.

Had both version of full welsh breakfast and worth every penny, just delicious, vegetarian sausage spot on 👌decent portions to the price. Will highly recommend 👌

Nice enough beer. But although not that busy there is no room at the inn for food. Plenty of tables to sit at though. Damn COVID - food smells lovely. Get some staff in.

Lovely place, nice setting but the owner always looks like shes doing 50 jobs at once, tends to bump into you whilst you're seated and not apologise and doesnt really greet you (say helo or even smile) , and that lets it down for me hence the 3 star

Really excellent breakfast. We were staying at Riverside campsite and popped in for breakfast twice. The full Welsh breakfast is fantastic and highly recommended.

Evening birthday meal with family tonight. Can't fault the menus, can't fault the cooking and can't fault the service. A warm welcome, a warm room and an enjoyable evening.

Good food and first class service

Looks can be deceiving. Place look lovely. The food I recieved was shocking. Over priced food arrived covered in grease. Breakfast is repeating on me as soon as I have left. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!!

So we are on-site for a few days. Looking forward to our Sunday lunch and a few afternoon beverages. It was well before 4 o'clock before we came up today (Sunday) (open til 5) locked doors and owners off site. Absolutely ridiculous and puts a terrible light not only on yourselves but the Riverside site aswell. No super markets are local enough for us to walk to and grab some food to cook, the only option we have is a fast food takeaway. I am just so glad we didn't follow through with our invite for our parents to make the 2hr journey to join us for a few hours onsite and to eat. Not acceptable!
