This pub has a car park which issues fines if you don't register your car inside. My girlfriend has just ended up paying a total of £210 to Parkingeye and she was using the pub. I seem to remember the sign is not obvious. Have visited the pub to watch the excellent jazz but will not be going again. Don't know of any other pubs that do this so would not be looking for Parking signs.

Tried Sunday lunch following re-opening after lockdown. Absolutely delicious, quality of food and presentation much improved. Only managed to get 2 lunches in before 2nd lockdown intervened, let's all hope it won't be long before we can enjoy it again. Posted this on their accommodation site in error when it was intended for the pub, sure it applies if you are staying.

Visited for lunch recently with elderly parents. It was a pleasant surprise to see an extended menu - I had the cod cassoulet which was superb. Thankfully the same: the staff remain friendly and The Milford does a good pint of Guinness. Our visit was relaxing as the COVID19 restrictions are taken seriously. The tables are spaced, sanitiser is available and the loo I used had sensor activated amenities. Excellent value for money. The food is equal to other pubs locally but less expensive. If you are local, I'd recommend a visit, not out of goodwill, but because it's lovely and worth keeping. I am a greedy person and didn't need a big dinner after my lunch.

Went here yesterday, gloomy and wet day in Isleworth. The staff here clearly take hygiene seriously, sanitizer, masks for moving around no cash and table service only. I chose the trio of meats which was served with all the trimmings and a fine Yorkshire pudding. Only one real ale available, Doom Bar, I was guess to less customers it’s not sensible to have any others just now. The house red was perfectly acceptable. Made to feel very welcome.

The food seems to have gone downhill since the local down. I thought my miso soup was very tasteless and my daughter’s dumplings soggy and anaemic looking. I used the think Itsu was a good fast food place for cheep and cheerful food but I suspect they have lost a bit of quality control. A real shame as they were the best of a stuff bunch of reasonable chains. I hope things pick up again soon.

Bueno para unas copas si no quieres un restaurante completo y no quieres sentarte en un pub. Chiswick no tiene muchos "bar" lugares de estilo y esto fue una buena con precios razonables y un buen servicio. Mejor que el cordero pub en frente.

Yet another phoenix rising from the flames of a previous venture. Doesn't know whether its lebanese turkish, greek middle eastern or none of the above. Given the quality of much of what they served the best answer would be - none of the above. Simply nothing more than a space to escape power cuts, poor weather etc

Champagne at LHR T2We have dined at the Caviar House & Prunier on St James many times, and did so again, during our November trip. We have stopped into their shop, and the separate bar/dining area at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 2, before catching our flight home to the USA. We did so, on this trip. Our flight was later than we usually take, and we had gotten to LHR with lots of time on our hand. Before heading to the United Club, we decided to stop into the Caviar House & Prunier shop in the terminal building, past Security. On this visit, we were interested in Champagne, and they always can accommodate us in that respect. We pulled up stools at the semi-circular bar, essentially in the middle of the rotunda at Terminal 2, watching the airline traffic, outside of the building, through giant windows. We had two glasses of the Laurent Perrier, and sat back, to relax, before heading to an early lunch, near our departure gate. Our service was very good, and cheerful. On this visit, we only sat at the bar for Champagne, and did not visit their near-by retail store - but we had already shopped at their St James restaurant, earlier in the visit.Lovely, and we try to always stop, when departing from T2 at LHR.
