Nice food and staff, can't fault the place. There's Naans are massive!! Good drinks too

Waited nearly 2 hours for one dish to be delivered absolute joke .

outstanding had the lamb curry not shy with the meat oh and the onion bhaji best ever.

I loved it here, the food was absolutely 10/10. I had a platter of lots of taster portions of curry avaible on a Tuesday and Thursday and it was all perfect with lots of flavour and the lamb was soft and perfectly cooked. I'd highly recommend this place, good value for money and delicious.

Shish kebab was like rubber the chicken wings had blood in them and chicken tikka was very fatty and complained and they couldn’t do nothing

We had a very good experience at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The medium mixed grill was full of flavour and made with high-quality ingredients. The chili chips were cooked to perfection, definitely some of the best we've ever had. The spacious dining area and parking options were a bonus. Plus, they have a wide selection of beverages, including some unique options that impressed our friend. This place is definitely a must-visit – it's earned a permanent spot on our list of favourite’s!

First time visit last night. Food was tasty but was disappointed that I ordered chips and wasn’t heard apparently so had to reorder and wait longer for them. Presentation could be better as a nearby bar and grill do it better. Ild come back but not in a hurry. Ask server to repeat the order. Part of me thinks I was charged for chips and paid twice. They were not busy so mistake shouldn’t have been made.

Now this is one mix grill n curry that I would 100% come back and enjoy. Not only was the food spectacular! But the main man himself Gagan sorted us out with fantastic service and great food !! The man really knows how to keep a customer happy and satisfied. Would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a local mixy this is the place to be !!! I shall be back for another fantastic feast

Next up we visited ‘The merry go round’ in West Brom. Firstly loads of parking at the front and back of the venue on the car park. We entered via the bar area and were directed to the restaurant area which is at the back. Couple of different beers available at the front bar than the back, madri and Guinness, the bar lady said it was no problem to get them. All the usual suspects available, carling, coors and staropramen - no cobra though! The venue has mostly booths, we were in the giant square by one of TV’s with the football on. The food - we went for the following: 2x lollipop 1x large boneless mixed grill 1x merry grill 2x chilli chips 2x masala chips 2x chilli prawns 1x chilli cheese naan 1x garlic naan 1x keema naan 1x keema cheese naan 12 poppadoms Vindaloo sauce - 6 of us just about managed to finish it! The mixy - large boneless was good, batter was light and crispy on the pakora, tikka was juicy, good flavour. Only downside was there was a lot of tikka. Sheesh was tasty. The merry grill, at £24 priced OK, had some giant prawns on the top but only x2, same for the chops, only 2x which sometimes you get more of these items on the larger grills. Fish pakora as above, wings were really small and mostly on the bottom so got cremated by the burnt onion and sizzling grill. Was expecting lollipop and chilli prawns on this grill but only large prawns, wings, sheesh, tikka and lamb chops. Chicken lollipops were really good, covered in chilli and loads of meat. Chilli prawns - really good, the sauce on them very tasty. Top end pricing at £10 for about 8 on a plate. The naan breads - the garlic naan wasn’t the best very thin and turned into a crisp. Now for the best bit - the keema cheese naan, amazing, loads of keema meat, basically it’s like a pizza, so so good, defo worth a visit here just for this. Chips - very chunky good masala flavour and the chilli chips were crunchy. Service was great, they let us put a tab on the bar which is unheard of in these places. Made things easier when buying beers. Food was served in good time. Would go back to the merry go round. Not up there with the red cow or champys but a good venue, good food and well worth a visit.

Fust time I've ever been in this booza I'm from west brom it was the last booza ive bin in to complete my all time west brom pubs. Its was a nice clean booza sky sports the lot and top food.

I ordered a balti which had no heat to it a portion of chips that tasted and looked like old chips warmed up and a peshwarni Nan which had no sweetness and was over cooked hard

The mixed grill was amazing, big portions and very tasty. the curry and naan was also very good. they have a fully stocked bar and the interior is very nice. i’ll definitely go again.

very bad curry I asked for very hot sharbi bakra it was so sweet in taste discussing and vegan curry was a big leg down tandoori roti and garlic nann was bad quality like they soaked into water before delivery

the service was tooo late even we asked for a pint of bear that took 20 min then we have to wait for food maybe 25min but the food was cold though not goood experience here

We did have missing items from our order but the food was very good. Just disappointed by the food that was paid for thag we didn't receive

Absolutely disgusting like a frozen ready meal ,the rice wasn't cooked the chicken was like frozen cubes dry as anything we spent nearly 30 pound on it and didn't eat it won't be ordering from the merry go round again 😑

Food has no flavour just tastes of lots of chillis in there. Way too hot fingers and lips had chillis all over too. Please don’t eat the hot food from here

Have driven past here a few times now since it has been re-opened as a curry/grille house and thought I would give it a try! The place itself is very clean,with great decor and a good atmosphere! We never ordered curry on this occasion but we did order a chicken Tikka wrap which was very tasty,hot and was packed with chicken.... delicious! Also ordered the chilli chips and the masala chips..great portions and were also very tasty and crispy! The naan bread was also cooked very well! Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone who is thinking about it or in the area 👍🏼

Every time I’ve been here the food is always on point and better than restaurants that charge more for food that doesn’t taste anywhere near as good! Highly recommended to anyone!

The Merry Go Round is absolutely brilliant! The food is superb and, in conversation with other customers who had journeyed across the West Midlands to "savour the flavour", I had to point out that we had come down feom Blackpool! Beat that! The service is brilliant and the young man behind the bar was very friendly and professional.

First time going to this place last night and we all really enjoyed it. The food was amazing and all the staff are just lovely. Prices are very reasonable and there is a tasty menu to choose from. They made me something that wasn't on their menu and it was just perfect. Can't recommend highly enough and we shall definitely be going back there soon.

Absolutely horrible! The amount of salt I had in my mixed naan wrap is unbelievable! I couldn’t eat it at all! I never ever had something that can be cooked as badly as my “mixed wrap” big disappointment!!!

Eat in here all the time and food is always great, but tonight decided to order in. We never expect the food to be as good as dining in but tonight I was proven wrong. The food was amazing the chix tikka fell apart it was mouth watering and jalfrezi just perfect . Thanks guys !

Can be overbearingly loud with music even when sometimes there isn't anybody inside but food never disappoints!

Lovely place nice tasty fresh food

This Desi-Pub is a good place to go for a Mixi. It's also handy for takeaway via Uber Eats. The food isn't the most spectacular you will find locally, but it does a good job in a competitive area. I like that they have a good choice of Mixed Grills on the menu, with 2 boneless options so you don't have to do a whole thing about swapping out wings. I tend to go for the medium boneless to myself, and I love the meat variety on it. When I order takeaway, I tend to go for the kebab naan wrap, which is my favourite thing on the menu. They have decent vegetarian options too. The service is great for one of these places, the lad behind the bar is friendly and very helpful to talk to about the menu. The service is probably what swings this from a 4 to a 5 for me. I just wish they would open a couple of hours earlier and then I would come in more often for lunch while working from home, and I'm sure other locals would too.

Brilliant place. So vibrant. The staff are very friendly, professional and passionate about customer service. The place has been refurbished recently to very high standards. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Also a great place for family gatherings too. Food is brilliant, great choice of drinks at the bar and the beer always tastes fresh. Not many places can match these standards.

Ordered 3x poppadoms with being a big party so should of been 12 poppadoms in total, didn’t even get 4 and was all smashed up, and only 1 pot of green sauce for everything included, after spending nearly £40 we are very disappointed- not good enough

Easy to order, nice range of dishes. Arrived on time and the food was decent. Some friends had recommended the Merry so my expectations were high, unfortunately the food, although decent, wasn't as great as I'd hoped. Still, I enjoyed the meal and would happily order again.

i refuse too wait that long for my food

I always order online for home delivery. Yesterday'S food was tasteless.. who add paneer (indian cottage cheese) in veg noodles. Shahi paneer has flat taste of coconut. Not happy at all..

We ordered our food at 18.44 and on just eat app it said it was delivered to us at 19.13 and I phoned up the restaurant and they had our food there but was waiting for a driver to collect it and waited about 20 minutes to phone restaurant back up and they said they was still waiting even though our food was ready and the manager of the restaurant said he will deliver our food himself but we got the food and and it was cold and rubbery so it wasn’t freshly made again even though we waited over a hour for it to be delivered. I am very disappointed has never had a problem with deliveries with just eat before. We am not happy with the food but that is just eats faults we have paid for just eat to deliver and they didn’t deliver it so I want my money back for our food and deliver money back as well.

The pub is very nice it's a bit weird how you pay for food and drink separately instead of on a standard check I understand it before the dreaded rona but it would be safer for the staff if it was different. Other then that food was amazing and drink service was good also has TVs outside so you can watch the football while you wait for your food.

Excellent food, personally me and the boys favourite mixed-grill spot, hats off to the team, if your local to Brum or west mids in general your certainly in for a treat, mixed grill is spot on, generous portions,sauces and Salad compliments your meal nicely, friendly staff. Selections of drinks are quite good too, if you fancy a bevvy. I think I've found my second home 😂😂😂😂😂 Guaranteed you won't be dissapointed

Everything was great, but could do with more description on menu when ordering.

Really annoyed with these guys. Every time I have ordered from here I have put a note saying do not make it too spicy. About 4 times now, what have they done Made it very spicy ! How are kids suppose to eat it ?! It’s not cheap to order from here and they just ruin the food with loads of chilli ! I think I will be taking my business elsewhere going forward as they can’t understand a simple instruction.

So sorry, But this was appalling, The rice was hard, Sagwalla had too much salt in it, missing items and to roo it off the food was cold. We have ordered from here before and it was fine so hopefully it was a one off.
