I popped in here while my car was at the garage. A really nice community feel from staff to customers and a very nice piece of Bakewell slice make this an exceptional little coffee shop in the heart of Peasedown St John. Well worth a visit.

Lovely atmosphere, great food and very friendly staff. We love visiting with family and friends.

Arrived just few minutes after 3 and not serving any more hot food. Computer says no attitude and got a scone and cappuccino. £6.80 later, feeling hard done by the microwave reheated cheese scone. There were some options if cakes, but not having sugar at the moment.

What do you know, she saw me coming and gave me a big smile and a warm greeting. Had chai latte and 🍰. Mmm delicious. All laid back, homely feel, cool christian music. Did not feel lost at all. Not one bit.

A great place. We had a lovely coffee and a toasted tea cake, warm personable service, clean loos, a properly warm cafe on this cold December day. There is good parking in the nearby free public car park (off Greenlands Road).

First time visiting, and we were made to feel very welcome with our dogs and offered a lovely little summer house to sit in out in their lovely back yard, water, and treats for the dogs and tea and bacon roll for us. 100% recommended

Great place for cakes and dining. Also really dog friendly with the converted sheds out the back. We come here all the time.

The hot chocolate was hot, actually it was very hot which is a good thing in my book. Ambience is pleasant, bright and calm. No background music to hinder conversation. Minor disappointment was the lack of healthy snacks, only high carb cakes. So 4*.

Really lovely food. A great selection of cakes but not much for vegans or those with other dietary requirements. There are a couple of cosy cabins in the garden which are perfect for a quiet cuppa.

Very friendly staff and always great food and coffee and drinks. A wide variety of cake also A very nice place to go to.

When we arrived it was raining and the staff very kindly put up a gazebo for us so we could sit in and eat rather than taking our food away. The food came fast and was delicious. The staff were beyond kind and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Definitely worth a stop if you’re nearby!

Love this place. We don't live in Peasedown but the owners are so nice that whenever we even come near the area we have to stop in for a coffee. They are doing takeaways at the moment. Would recommend!

The meeting place has been a truly great addition to the village. This cafe has great character and every staff member is lovely, it is my favourite local cafe and I would definitely recommend this cafe to anybody in the area.

This was my 1st time at the meeting place in peasdown ive passed it a few times but a friend recommended it to me she told me it was run by the church I was really impressed with the food and service and friendly staff it also had a big portable case where you can do jigsaw puzzles books etc I have since recommended it to my brother and sister in law and neice who have just moved to the area and they too were very impressed its a very busy and welcoming cafe and I will definitely go there again when I'm that way next

Yes I love the meeting place but if you aren't Christian it is a bit awkward but I love the food . Oh the chocolate cake is exquisite

Discovered by chance! Absolutely fantastic - lovely friendly people; genuine HOT coffee, the Best BLT and everything reasonably priced. I might even journey to Peasedown just for The Meeting Place. Try them, you won't disappointed!

Visited on Saturday - late morning for a Full English Breakfast with coffee/tea for £6:50. Excellent value, the coffee stayed hot for the duration of my meal (something small, but if you've had a tea/coffee go cold quickly you will know where I'm coming from), food was really good and it was £6:50 well spent.

My 1st visit to the meeting place today, must say I am very impressed , wont be long in returning.

The meeting place is a fairly new coffee place and the food is very good it was my first time in a long time but pleased with the changes.
