The Meatery Hamilton in South Lanarkshire

First time here and the food was excellent, the food was ordered and delivered quickly by the friendly staff who made us feel welcome, modern music played while we had dinner which was nice, the price was very good and well worth what we had. So an overall great experience and highly recommended.

Food amazing as always, portions are huge, really good value for money! Staff lovely as usual, our go to for lunch & dinner 😊

Visited this restaurant last Saturday 25th March for early diner 5.30. Staff were lovely and food was amazing definitely will go again really great place. My partner had the T bone steak cooked to perfection i had the Wygu Burger and posh fries amazing

Positives : nice decor, warm and clean. food was nice and reasonably priced. Central location in the town centre. Negatives : When walking in there doesn't appear to be the usual front of house meeting point, No Wi-Fi (really needed when accommodating children), no signage for toilets, slow service, a lot of items listed on the drinks menu not available.

Had lunchtime menu ,super value for the money. Well worth a visit food is delicious 😋. Very friendly staff.

Food was delicious however dietary requirements were completely disregarded by staff. If you dont have food allergies/intolerances its a fab place, but if you do then be careful.

Amazing steak, great to have such a good steakhouse in Hamilton at last!

What a great place!!! Food knocked our expectations out of the park. I had the chicken burger and posh fries(truffle oil and Parmesan cheese). Husband had the beef burger with onion rings. We both could have ate another three burger with the juicy and flavour filled experience but could never have the room with portion size. I love a chicken burger, this one had to be one of my top three, ever. Would highly recommend. Business doesn’t get enough credit in this small community. Can’t wait to return and try the steaks!

Tried The Meatery in Hamilton as it was new & we had date night. The food was amazing, I had ordered the lamb shank, wow the meat just fell off the bone & the vegetables were excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Visited with my partner on Valentines night and had a really lovely experience. Our starter platter was delicious and i had wagyu burger and my partner had fillet steak, cooked perfectly with garlic broccoli and green beans such a lovley accompaniment with the dish. We will definitely come back and recommend to our friends. service was fast and polite

This was our second viait and again exceeded our expectations, i had the fillet steak and the wench had the lamb shank on mash potatos. Be shared the cookie dough and ice cream which was gorgeous. It was all really well cooked and a credit to Hamilton

DON'T BUY ANY WINE!! Asked for the bottle of the French merlot on the menu which retails at £11, and was listed as £28. Instead we were served a £6 bottle of 'i heart merlot' wine, when we questioned the manager they simply said that's what they were given by the the supplier so we were forced to pay the 466 % mark up!! Service staff were great. Food was tasty but the green lighting makes the 'medium rare' steak look grey and it didn't taste all that good and would say it was over cooked. Would've been a great experience but was left feeling angry by the false advertisement on the wine and the managers attitude to this. Wont be back because of this.

Came for Valentine's night, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious, we shared a starter of nachos which were tasty, my husband had the fillet steak he said the steak was magic but the peppercorn sauce let it down, it was just like a gravy with peppercorns in it. But he still enjoyed the meal. My hunters chicken was delicious can't fault it at all, too full for dessert, please consider putting cheesecake on your dessert menu lol. We will definitely be back, you are a credit to Hamilton

Stunning food and decor gorgeous Beef shoulder melts in the mouth and thw lb shank is beautiful

First time visiting here and it did not disappoint as I've heard lots of great things. There was a table of 8 of us and the service was so friendly and attentive. We ordered several portions of the nachos and chicken poppers to start - wow! they were absolutely amazing! For mains, half of our group ordered the fillet steak which was cooked perfectly to each persons preference, it was melt in the mouth. The other half went for the beef shoulder and that was also absolutely delicious. We finished off with some of the cookie dough and ice cream (so so good!!!) They also sell my very favourite prosecco DaLuca. Cant wait to return. 5*****

Excellent food, good service. Place was really quiet, so not a great atmosphere, but would be nice if busier. Really lovely food though, would totally recommend trying it.

We saw a deal on Uber eats for 2 for 1 burgers, didn't really expect much from a takeaway these days but wow was I blown away. We ended up going again two days later we thought it was so good. We had their wagyu burgers and a side of Mac and cheese, highly recommend both of them. If anything, I'd say there should be a Mac and cheese burger on the menu it was so good 👍 We picked up both our orders, and inside the restaurant is very well put together. Will definitely be dining in sometime in the future!

Had a fabulous family meal in the meatery today , everything we ordered was amazing, brilliant value for money . Staff very friendly and efficient

Had a work lunch there with a colleague yesterday. I would describe it as nearby parking 80p per hour, pleasant atmosphere inside the restaurant, reasonably priced lunch menu and the food was good beyond expectations.

Ordered a takeaway and the food was amazing, staff were all lovely, would recommend 100%

Went for dinner and staff were very nice on arrival. Meal was absolutely outstanding. We ordered steak and it was delicious just the way I asked for it.

1st time at the eatery , no complaints about the food as we both meat eaters , steaks were great . Not long opened , was not to busy , actually the weather was appalling that did not help the foot fall Only thing we chatted about was the big green hedges / wall panels along with half the lights were green too . As for the menu it's design was very like the butchers shop , but seems to be an up and coming place for good meat 🍖 which I can not complain , cos I love good beef , Oh I had the sirloin and the pretty one had the rib eye Will go back again ...........

Food was amazing staff were friendly and helpfull. We will defo be back
