The Masons Arms in County Durham

The hotel was very nice. The room was clean and well appointed. The bar was dog friendly so your furry friend could join you for an evening drink. There is a lot to like about the Honest Lawyer Hotel. The staff are friendly, the food and drink is excellent and there is free, no strings attached WiFi. There is also a decent sized good quality car park.

Solid Chinesewith proper chippy chips! Fast and decent quality it's my go to Chinese in Peterlee.

Ordered chicken wrap with salad they sent it with chips. The chicken in the wrap was disgusting it had bits of gristle and fat in - literally couldn’t eat it. Decent delivery time and food was warm but the quality of food was poor.

This pub is welcoming from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food was brought to our table in an impressively short amount of time and it was delicious. The chips that my wife had were some of the best I’ve tasted in a long time. I ordered a curry and it was served with both poppadoms and naan bread. I’m used to having one or the other but having both was like hitting the curry jackpot. The pub is dog friendly and has plenty of parking in a good quality car park.
