We took 2 rooms for 7 nights for a trip to the children's school. The service is amazing, everyone is really nice and caring. Every request was answered positively. The breakfast is indulgent and rich. The rooms are clean. The hotel is a meter from Oxford Street with the supermarket and all the comparable chains. There is a lobby open 24/7 and there are free bottles of water and chocolates and dates and fruits In short, a great success. The price-performance ratio is amazing I get a 9.8 out of 10 on a bull scale. 😀

For those who are interested in booking this hotel, I don’t recommend booking in it at all for these reasons provided, I have a reservation with montcalm marble arch a week before I arrive to London so I can enjoy my trip in the heart of the city center but, when I had arrived they transferred me to another hotel that is far from the city center and it was a mesruble experience with booking and with the hotel they was saying once it is a maintenance and then they said it is lack of terrible rooms service and terrible issue to have as a traveler. For those interested: An extremely bad hotel that does not respect guests. I booked this hotel due to its proximity to Oxford Street through Booking. The reservation was confirmed by Booking. The confirmation email and reservation number were sent a week ago before arriving, and during arrival and travel fatigue, they said we do not have rooms and we have a problem accepting reservations. More than the number of rooms, and if you want to continue your reservation, go to the other hotel in Paddington, which is a 30-minute walk from Oxford Street.. Is this the procedure? The hotel management deserves respect!! Note that I am not the only one who said this to him. There were four people who booked 4 rooms and two couples. A hotel that does not deserve to be quarantined in because of this behavior.

Some previous reviews worried me after I booked this hotel yet I had nothing to be concerned about. We had a lovely stay and very much appreciated the room upgrade and complementary breakfast (which was really tasty) Admittedly some elements of the room looked a little tired (scuffed skirting boards, loose plugs) and I think a few modernisations may help (like smart tvs) but the townhouse hotel felt classic, was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were all so friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure our one night stay was enjoyable. A hotel of this standard, in this location and at this price is a rare find in London.

The worst ever ever ever, I had been in this hotel 2 yrs ago and if I had the chance to write my evaluation million times I won’t change it about this awful hotel ( even some photos they are posting belong to the the other hotel across the road . Not recommended at all at allll )

This hotel was very disappointed, the room is very small compared to the price. Especially me and my husband, 2 people had breakfast but it was billed for 3 people, started the amount for 3 people in my account despite my complaint. I sent an email about the refund but no response.

The check-in was flawless, and the customer service throughout my stay was very good. The hotel is situated in an older building, but my room was recently renovated and modern. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the shower was hot and refreshing. The air-conditioning was powerful and kept me cool. Complimentary bottled water and fresh fruit in the room were a welcome addition. The hotel is steps away from the Marble Arch, but my room on the 4th floor was quiet. I would definitely stay here again. The full English Breakfast was in a self-serve buffet format, and was quite tasty. Yet, there was no fried egg option, nor was there blood sausage. Getting a refill on my first cup of coffee was impossible because the one server was overwhelmed with the five tables he was managing. Fortunately, Starbucks is just around the corner, so I got another cup of coffee there. On a positive note, the breakfast area was clean, and fresh fruits, yoghurts, pastries, jams, and butter were all available.

My review will sound like a repeat of other things you have read. I don’t know how on earth they achieved a 5 star rating. I used Priceline and did a secret hotel and that’s how I got here. This is a 3 star at best, accommodations seem to be in the basement. I did not experience a bad smell like other reviews have said. However absolutely EVERYTHING you touch is cheap (from the teaspoons, the chairs in the dining room, scratchy sheets(the first night, softer the second night), mdf wardrobe), all the small luxuries that are typical and expected for 5 stars are completely amiss. The room (912) is very small for 2 people, you’re crawling over each other to get around. The bed was comfortable- just know that you can hear your neighbors but ours were quiet- so we slept good. I did discover that the room next door was significantly larger, so normal sized rooms do exist. Excellent location (really sublime), easy access to the tube and walkable to shopping. You would likely have more space at a travel lodge, and more luxury and comfort at a Hilton Garden Inn. The staff were very kind though, and I’m sure if they could upgrade things they would. I would have been happier spending more and having a true 5 star experience.

This hotel is in a very poor state of repair, the rooms are in urgent need of a makeover. In Room 202 the noise of the plumbing is appalling. They moved us, apparently an upgrade to Room 305. The tiles in the bathroom are loose and broken, the glass in the door is broken. The general decoration is Way past it.

I went in the store and bought coke and water bottle and went to use washroom and the one of the staff named “Ola” became very very rude to me. She stop me to use washroom and when I told her that I am the customer she said that you can return the items which you bought I recommend that please don’t go to the store

Unfortunately the atmosphere of the restaurant was very unwelcoming. The male members of staff were friendly but the woman who I'm guessing is the manager was rude and blunt and made us feel unwelcomed. She constantly tried to upsell to us the entire meal and didn't do so in a friendly way at all and even tried to get us to buy prawn crackers half way through the meal. The food was underwhelming to say the least, the katsu bao bun was nice but the set menu was very small and over priced, left spending 85 quid on basically a round of small plate starters. I'm never wanted to get out of a place quicker. Never going back. We felt very uncomfortable the entire meal with the lady member of staff glaring at us most of the time. Very disappointing.
