Costa Victoria Place in City of London, Westminster

Lovely shop with lots of seating. Staff are attentive, efficient and helpful. Great place to avoid Victoria station crowds. Also a good place to work remotely.

Very big Costa chain that should have huge potential given the location, but the pastries are below average, the almond croissant tasted like it was made 2 days ago. The food choices in general lack, and coffee was nothing great, not sure why they are voted the best in the UK.

After going to coffee shops weekly for a number of years, this was easily the worst service I have ever received. Almost as though I was being rude by asking her for a cup of coffee. Such a shame because I usually quite like Costa.

The store clerk has a bad attitude

Beautiful lady with glasses and black hair served me with a lovely smile and made the best mocha I've ever had and cinnamon bun. Very nice atmosphere, would definitely recommend ! Get her a raise !

There was one worker a black guy with locks and a turban on his head who was very very disrespectful towards me. I couldn’t get his name but we asked security where we can charge our phone and they told us Costa so when we went to Costa, I had a McDonald’s cup in my hand and we sat down charging my friends phone. The charger plug did not work so we went to a different spot in Costa to charge the phone and this worker kept coming towards us shouting with off disrespect saying if you’re not buy anything get out. We explain to him. We just need to charge our phone and he stole one of us to get out. Then he grabbed the cup I left on the other table and slammed it in my face and told me pick up your rubbish next time. This Caught me off guard as he slammed it so hard on the table and shouted so hard that I got a bit scared. I told him next time give me my rubbish with respect, not slam it in my face and he didn’t have it at all and called security, even though he was the one who showed disrespect, I hope this man gets fired Don’t go to Costa in Victoria Station if you don’t want to be treated respect.

Grim. Bought a caramel brownie to discover hairs on it after taking my first bite. Revolted.

Ordered an expensive oat Flatwhite, instead I got a milky super sweet instant coffee at best

The place is comfortable on the 2nd floor of Victoria Station. I stopped by to check my email. Very helpful because there are several plugs for cellphones and laptops. The waiters are friendly, the food and drinks are okay, Costa Coffee standard.

Ordered frappes. Were made incorrectly by the bm. After complaining they were thrown back in the blender and remade and were still incorrect. Awful rude service and then just offered a refund to leave.

With a friend we came in pretty late but still got served, so that's a plus. However, the service was terrible as we wanted to use a discount from the Costa App but the cashier couldn't change the order to apply it. Pity, for what seemed to bud into a good experience. Better luck next time or somewhere else I suppose!

Always a pleasure to come here in my break time! I pop by around 2/3 times during the week and the team are unfailing friendly and efficient. Dana even remembers my usual order, which really is great service given the thousands of passengers that pass through daily. I use my reusable cup which means I get double ‘beans’ on the Costa app and the free cup of coffee comes round quickly!

There were 40 minutes left to finish the service. The attendant sold me Toastie and said that I couldn't heat it up because the machine was having problems, but I noticed that they were in the process of closing. And he didn't want to heat the snack for me. Pitiable!!!!

Not the best costa but surely not the worst. It will do for a refuel.

Ordered twice in one day. Staff were super friendly and so kind. My drink was made wrong and I decided not to complain. The staff came and found me with the correct drink free of charge and allowed me to keep both. Such a lovely change from other Costa baristas

Terrible service. Lots of normal mugs but staff refused to use one for drink in. Offered only paper one. No explanation why. Update: i know now why XD energy prices, they are saving money. Get rid of normal cups then! stop displaying them

Really bad service on Sunday 23rd October at 5.15pm. Massive queue one person serving. Two male staff members watching her serve. One looked like the manager. They just gave off an impression they didn't care. It looked like they were just taking the mickey. I went to Starbucks instead. Go to Starbuck I say, its much better.....

Costa it’s my favourite place to go the coffee it’s great, and all the staff are very friendly, I recommend to anyone.

The taste of the mocha wasn't perfect. There was an Indian girl on the counter who behaved rudely.

I was placing the order from my phone on Aug 7 at 18:00 and the Indian waiter was standing on my head and forcing me to place the order on the counter. Zero professionalism and because of that I ended up going to Starbucks. I was about to understand his remark with the other Indian girl because he made fun of me in my language. I hope respective manager take this non sense behaviour into account and do necessary action against their employee.

Just bought today small hot chocolate. And just see now that was charge £4.50.. think to much for small hot chocolate. I am not happy. Think then large one will be around £6.50.

The wonderful Lithuanian manager MR G and his female till operator were lovely and efficient. A nice quiet spot to get away from the hustle and bustle watching the trains go in and out (unfortunately empty with covid19)

Great place great staff really friendly

We had the vegan Smoky Ham and Cheeze toastie and the vegan Rocky Road. Delicious. Costa now have a vegan menu with lots of choices on it, including desserts. Not before time.

The most unpleasant experience in costa branch. Considering the place is pretty much busy and high footfall. The staff was grumpy and my latte milk wasnt freshly whisked. Luke warm latte. Wouldnt come to this place at all.

When I went there was 5min to 11am and I ordered the lunch menu. The girl working there said to me "Lunch menu it's only from 11am" and I thought it was too early for it and I just ordered something else. When I sat there I saw it wasn't to early for the menu but anyway, I enjoy the Costa's café and I'll remain to go there.

Could do with some more fluent speakers and politeness. Drinks were okay. They did takeaway cups as default, very not environmental friendly.

Rude staff 2 outta 3 behind the till seemed to have attitudes, hands on hip scowling asking people what they wanted they seemed ‘over it’ it was nice that the service was fast and the drink was good but wouldn’t go there again because they just left a bad taste in my mouth, they didn’t say anything negative but there body language was way way of they seemed bored, and angry at something. I hope this was just a blip cos of the heat or something.

Always understaffed during the week at peak times hence most of tables are left dirty for long periods. The staff present do there best! Management to take note

Servicio lamentable... soy española pero hablo buen inglés; pedí un caffe latte y un decaffe latte y me preguntan que si quiero ambos tamaño medio, la respuesta es sí; cuando vemos que son gigantes y más leche que café realmente, pero tras decir que cuál era el descafeinado me contestan de bastantes malas formas (ninguna de las dos personas eran originiarias de allí, importante decirlo) que si hubiera querido un café tendría que haber dicho without coffee que decaffe latte jamás lo habían oído (parece mentira que trabajen en London...). Ya el remate fue al preguntar por el azúcar que no servían y no veíamos en la cafetería, la contestación fue mucho peor diciendo: Behind!!! LAMENTABLE que a los turistas se nos trate así aun sabiendo bien el idioma, pero también comentar que el resto de días cambiamos a otro sitio donde la atención fue genial independientemente del país de origen de quien te sirviera.

I love the coffee, they need more dairy free options and gluten free bites.

Coffee is fine.. But I dont know why they play music so loud. My friend and I have to speak so loud to hear each other while having coffee.

Gewoon heerlijk! De medium cappuccino en de medium warme chocolademelk die ik hier bestelde waren ENORM! En lekker. De extra cacao die eroverheen werd gestrooid maakte het helemaal af. Precies wat je nodig hebt op een koude regenachtige dag.

Costa provide plastic straws. An ignorant, cheap and selfish ideology towards our planet that Costa are contributing to ruining. Straws are practically redundant, and if people would like the option to have straws then provide paper ones. Enhance your CSR strategy.

The product is fine. The service is rather poor and they keep on getting the orders wrong.

This coffee shop is on my commute, I’ve tried three times and every time the coffee just tasted burnt from not maintaining machines

The coffee I was served today was a lovely cup of espresso. It was well brewed, not burnt in any way, unlike other Costas. Top marks!! 😀

Sunday afternoon so very quiet. 3 people serving but staying firmly behind the counter so the place was a mess. Looked like a tornado hit it - chairs and used cups all over the place. It was 30 C during the heatwave but their outside heaters were one! When I mentioned it the first server didn’t understand English. The second server said she knew but it’s not Costa. Would I like her ro tell some in the Station!!! Not interested. Coffee average. Not the normal Costa standard. Avoid

As always Costa coffee provides good quality drinks. The staff is incredibly friendly and I like seeing every member of the team whenever I grab a drink. They usually have a good selection of regular drinks as well as seasonal limited edition beverages. If you're familiar enough with some of their drinks they can still be ordered when they're not on the board. Overall it is a very pleasant spot to go to.

Worst service ever. Two baristas chatting between themselves in Spanish and didn't gave a f#c k to the costumers. And talking about female costumer ass... unacceptable behavior.

Went in a 6.59 for a coffee, the lovely lady at the counter said they need 5 minutes to open. I asked then why are they open since 6.30 if they are still setting up the counter. She said they start opening at 6.30 (sic) Went back at 7.05, the same lovely lady said they need another 5 minutes. Lovely attitude and great customer service.. of course not. Lazy staff with attitude. It is not necessarry to work on a Sunday morning in a busy place, just dont even open and waste the time of others.

Very uncomfortable atmosphere. Staff arguing and pulling faces behind each others backs. Woman serving me is miserable and hasn't smiled once. Last time I felt like this was primary school canteen with the hateful dinner ladies!

Admittedly one of the most out of the way places to get a drink at Victoria, but not good for a Costa at all. Very messy inside- most tables had used trays and crockery on. Slow service and quite abrupt/rude

One of the worst Costa Coffee shops I've been to. Very slow service, and it always looks rather grubby.

A branch of the popular coffee chain upstairs in Victoria Place. It's not quite as obvious as the Pret downstairs or the other chains outside, so it's usually possible to get a seat.
