It's not Chinese and food was already prepared and re heated Spare ribs were horrible

Late order by 40 minutes. Phoned up to say couldn't have chicken in black bean sauce but could have chicken green peppers black bean sauce which was like dish water. Chicken tough. Spring rolls soggy and under cooked , not crispy. Won't be ordering again now had 2 bad meals out of 3.

The food is very delicious and I go a lot because the staff are friendly and it's local to which is a bonus

First time visiting the food was good was a little off putting when a customer turned up with a plate of food obviously wasn't happy with it left with an empty plate and a refund after a lengthy discussion with the owners, kinda wondered why and what I was about to take home and put down my throat but I'm still alive this morning and it was absolutely fine, probably visit again...! 😏

Special curry was very oily & I mean oily . The meal I had was not the best wouldn’t use it again . Not cheap either .

We have just had this delivered and it was absolutely disgusting. I've never tasted food like it in my life, their was nothing Chinese about it. Crispy chicken in orange sauce was gut wrenching, the salt and pepper crispy beef was so bland and the special fried rice was tasteless, if you can't do rice then there's no hope for you. The salt and pepper chips were soggy and had no flavour or spice whatsoever. My missis wanted to give it a go but never again it's the worst we've had in Westhoughton by a country mile.

Been here quite a few times over the years. Today the chips tasted overdone, reheated and stale. The sweet and sour pork was soft with a piece of sweet and sour chicken thrown in. Quality seems to have been affected recently.

Terrible experience this evening, food very poor quality, tasteless tiny portions, Cold chips, boiled rice not fried and an item missing from order. Will not be returning

Used here for years.. tonight the worst I've ever had. Beef in black pepper sauce... very watery no taste.. likewise with sweet and sour chicken.. must be cut backs or poor chef. Disappointed an understatement.. won't be returning

This is a great place for Chinese food take away style

First off service was very quick and nice atmosphere but that's where my first experience ended. It was one of the most expensive meals I have had from a takeaway it wad 9.60 for chicken curry and fried rice I wouldn't mind the cost but there was hardly any chicken in the dish and the curry was very watery which makes me think they charge high for as little as possible and hardly any ingredients all profit for them wongs down the road a lot more for your money.

Picked up some food from here,(would usually go to Pete Wongs down the road but he was shut) got home and seen they hadn't put half of my order in, went back and they refused to give me the other half!!(those people are bonkers) Opened my Special Fried Rice and the Smell...!! Rotten Prawns..🤢..so the Food was duly returned!!..Stick with Wongs you won't go Wrong...👍

Good quality food, delivered on time

Quality of food is quite poor. Chicken chow mein was made up of largely noodles, with the tiniest portion of chicken. The other meals were mostly veg, with a serious lack of meat. If they're trying to cut costs, be honest with customers. I wont be ordering from here again.

Can’t fault the food but the price has gone up massively in the last month…order a Chinese takeaway every week from here and my order has gone up by £9 due to having to order rice / chips separately as they no longer come with the meal! Time to try elsewhere.

Just been for half fried rice chips and curry and the rice was not cooked properly very disappointed as we never had any problems with the food but to night was a let down the mixed thing was the chips

Not for the first time, the curry was so salty it was inedible! Threw it in the bin after a couple of mouthful. Save yourself some money and try and eat a 75p bag of salt. Same result and much cheaper! Been going to this place for over a decade but found meals have deteriorated. Have decided, finally, to call it a day! Will not give my custom in future! So sad!

Placed an order two hours ago no communication no reply phone all ways busy useless always the way when you pay online

Ordered food at 6pm. still not arrived by 9pm with no explanation and won't answer phones!!! i won't order from here again customer service is shocking. Pizzas in the oven so don't bother sending your driver he's getting sent back

Deliberately put about 5 times the amount of some ingredient in. Directed by the darkest of dark forces. I would do anything with the food but eat it.

Special chow mien very disappointing, no noodles just meat a few veg and a flavorless sauce.Chicken noodle soup had no chicken in at all. Spring rolls OK(can't get deep fried wrong). Would not recommend to anyone

Really upset to give 2* to the best takeaway by far but my husbands latest meal was, in parts uneatable. We ordered special curry with fried rice and beef with green pepper and black bean sauce. The main ingredient of beef (in black bean sauce) was terrible. It looked false, was chewy and fatty. This is not something we usually experience at Mans Palace. My meal (curry) was just ok not the usual standard.

Ordered our first takeaway last night, & was very impressed with food quality & speedy delivery service 👌 We have been many times to shop but was worried about delivery & being cold, but was impressed 👏

Went here a couple of weeks ago as they opened a little later than other takeaways in the area. We came back as the food was lovely :-)

First time ordering purchased hot beef with salt and pepper chips. Cantonese style special fried rice and a beef in black pepper sauce firstly all meals where in tiny pots secondly the Cantonese style fried rice has never seen a wok it was just boiled rice with a few scraps of meat and a bit of egg with some weird tasting sauce would rate this as one of the worst chinese meals I've ate

Great food and not too much seasoning on some foods compared to other similar places. The delivery is appalling though it is always late and has sometimes not arrived.

As always the food was great, Kit and Kafu always do a great job can recommend the salt and pepper chips

Good food, usual food and UK fish and chips, what bit of spiced up chip try the salt and pepper chips, some times have specials, you may have to wait but if you use the app it's quicker... They do deliver when we have use the service it turned up hot and in good order, we had one mishap but that was delt with without question and quickly good service.

We go here on occasion. Just doesn't quite have the quality of the other 2 Chinese take outs on the same road. But, friendly staff, and foods ok.

Food is near enough always excellent, turnaround time is very very quick even for dishes which have to be made from scratch. They allow phone orders so you can pre-order in advance for collection and unless you arrive early it's always ready in time. They also do delivery which is not widely published. I imagine to fix this issue they could list on JustEat or HungryHouse which would certainly be better for people pre-ordering for collection.

Most of my order was fine however the BBQ ribs were extremely dry and did not have any sauce on. Would not order again.
