Lovely home cooked food, well worth a visit. Highly recommended. Excellent sunday lunches as well as weekdays, closed saturday.

Superbly Roasted pork with more trimmings than I have time to mention. Seven veg, lovely crackling and even a yorkshire pud. All that for under a tenner. Service friendly and obliging. A hidden treasure in Sleaford with a really varied menu to suit all tastes and appetites.

Overnight midweek stay with husband. Great location and competitively priced. Had all we needed and more. Claire was so helpful from initial email queries to making sure we had a valid parking ticket the following morning. Rooms warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast cooked to order. Thank you

With friends had a beautiful Sunday lunch. The meat very tasty and cooked well. A total of eight vegetables served and all presented hot and fresh. Thought waiting-on staff very pleasant and welcoming. It was a little difficult to negotiate around the tables and chairs, a bit crowded. Well done everyone.

Great place to stay we booked two rooms. Both were spacious and clean. The breakfast will beat any Premier inn or Travelodge offering hands down. Staff were excellent and attentive nothing too much trouble Will use again

I stay Friday til Monday for a christening and I couldn't have stayed in a better place, the staff are lovely and if I'm honest it feels like they treat you like family. The service is amazing and the landlady is gold 5 star. Let's just say that I now have made some major life changes based on my stay. My husband and I are regulars at this lovely little restaurant. The lunch meals are a real treat and great value for money. They also delivered to us all through lockdown and continue to do deliveries in Sleaford and the surrounding villages. The main courses and desserts are home made, the meat is delicious, plentiful and tender and as for vegetables - if you like your veg you will be in seventh heaven! Counting two different potatoes and parsnips, I'm sure I have had a choice of nine different items! Claire, the owner/chef and Courtney who serves couldn't be more friendly and helpful. They now know our tastes and we don't really have to ask for plenty of gravy or custard, as we now get it automatically! Couldn't recommend anywhere more!!

Offered home delivery during covid and continuing now as well as dine in options. Fantastic sunday roasts and weekday meals. Well priced and plenty of fresh vegetables etc. When delivered everything is still hot and tasty. Highly recommend

Great menu. Quality of a very high standatd , very generous portions and very nicely presented. Staff person centered , pleasant and courteous. Will definaty go to eat there again 🤔 .

I love this place. Nothing is too much trouble and totally fantastic value for money. The food is excellent especially Claures chicken pie. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Thank you Claire for your hospitality. Definitely five stars.

We went for Sunday lunch with friends we were extremely pleased with our meal very tasty and nice selection of vegetables the sweets were very yummy to will definitely go again and we recommend it is certainly worth a visit

Only been for Sunday Lunch but a real belly buster. Good wholesome food with a good array of vegetables and yummy desserts. Not a large restaurant and always popular.

Fui para una comida de Navidad con un grupo de amigos. En general era precioso. El servicio era agradable y eficiente. El café estaba llena.Buenas porciones de Turquía, un montón de verduras y patatas. Muy bien cocinado. La mayoría de los postres eran grandes porciones excepto el budín de navidad, que era muy pequeña, así que iría algo diferente.Sin duda regresaría de nuevo.Yo creo que me dirán que la comida antes de pedir por lo que es posible que no decepcionará.Tiene un ambiente acogedor, un poco como ir a Nanna.

Muy buen precio para 3 campos para un día de la madre el almuerzo alrededor de £14,95 bombones y regalo, un buen detalle. Normalmente pagar unos 20 libras en estos días especiales. Sin duda volveremos.

Llevé a mi Nan aquí para su cumpleaños ya que es uno de sus lugares favoritos para ir y volver a comer en un domingo.El personal es siempre muy acogedor, amable y se desviven por ayudarte.La comida es excelente y hay siempre mucho, de hecho, nunca puede comer todas las verduras que realizar, ya que hay una enorme selección.Los postres son siempre deliciosos y es un duro trabajo para elegir sólo uno!El precio es bastante razonable teniendo en cuenta lo que obtienes.La decoración es un poco cansado, y aunque es un edificio antiguo, creo que se beneficiaría de una pequeña renovación.Sin embargo, En general, es un buen sitio para los niños, acogedor lugar para comer una comida muy sabrosa.

Mi marido y yo a menudo tienen un almuerzo en los ánades sobre pero hoy nos fuimos para la maternidad especial del domingo. Por el bajo costo de £14.50 tuvimos tres fantásticos campos. Las opciones de arranque incluido melón, sopa, ajo setas y patés. Ambos tuvimos el salmón ahumado y gambas terrina con tostadas francesas, bien presentada y casi una comida en sí mismo. Había una variedad de pescado 4 meat,1 unas habitaciones junior elegantes para vegetarianos. Cordero asado de mi marido y mi sobresaliente de asado con miel se funden en la boca y nunca se puede criticar los ánades sobre una selección maravillosa de verduras recién hechas. Teníamos asado y patatas hervidas, queso asado parsnip, coliflor, brécol, zanahorias, sueco y col. igualmente una variedad de deliciosos postres, incluyendo mousses, Pavlova, esponjas, etc. todos con nata, crema pastelera o helado. Todo servido con una sonrisa en los jóvenes camareras agradables y además de una pequeña caja de oro que contienen 6 chocolates en la mesa como un regalo, ¿cómo puede culpa? Muy recomendable.

Mi crítica es tarde, tuvimos una comida familiar en el ánades sobre un par de meses y nunca pensé que lo puso en TripAdvisor. Tuvimos una comida fantástica comida era deliciosa y había suficiente con una abundancia de verduras. Me recuerda a la vez pensando que tengo que volver y pronto.

You really can't beat the Mallards for a Sunday lunch. Fresh food, nicely cooked, plenty of choice, plenty of vegetables and decent portions. The Restaurant is bright and clean and the service is good. It's best to book if you want to guarantee getting some dinner.
