My daughter took me for mothers day afternoon tea. We were disappointed that the cups we were given weren't very clean and also the pastries and tiny bits of quiche were cold and cheap quality, the cakes weren't much better, it included croissants that were really dry with nothing on them and Battenburg cake. Nothing very special unfortunately.

Beautiful building worth a visit, wouldn't eat their again though, took my mum for Mother's Day and All seemed fine until the cups came for the tea, they were full of rings and dried on tea... We wiped them clean with the napkins... The food came and it all looked lovely, but that was all, the waiter never told us what the sandwiches were (I also couldn't find this info online) the sandwiches were tiny, I've had bigger chips, the pork pies were mush but the quiche was nice (but cold) they had lovely cossiants (again cold) NO BUTTER OR JAM! So very dry, the only cake that was nice was the lemon and mybe the meringue nest would of been ok if the fruit wasn't tort! I was very disappointed as its seemed like an elegant place. Wouldn't recommend at all!

Visited with hubby and won't be going again. We've had numerous afternoon teas but this one was horrible. The pastries were freezing cold, from hard mini pasties to rock hard croissants , the tea and coffee were stone cold and the cocktails were blue and nondescript. The chocolate cakes were shop bought and tasted cheap and for the price we paid even on groupon it was not worth it as we were really disappointed. I gave the staff feedback that they should have been warm but they didn't seem to want to know so that was a wasted opinion and a waste of £19.

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at the Majestic Theatre, having purchased a Groupon voucher. This wasn't your average venue for afternoon tea but we enjoyed its quirkiness. The gentleman who served us was friendly and very polite and the food was delicious. A good selection of sandwiches, cakes, strawberries and pastries and more than we could eat. Well recommended.

Esta fue mi segunda visita al restaurante, la comida es increíble, el servicio es excelente, nada es demasiado problema para estos chicos.

Mi madre y yo hemos cenado aquí dos veces, la comida es increíble! Recomiendo encarecidamente el filete con salsa de queso azul, simplemente excepcional, mi madre tenía la lubina con chorizo y mejillones en la salsa de mantequilla que de nuevo fue fantástico. El personal es amable y acogedor, el gerente Ellis es fabulosa y agradable. Si quieres un lugar elegante para cenar en Darlington, este es el lugar para ir, tiene un tema precioso art deco en todas partes, lo que se complementa con la música vintage suele jugar. En general, no se podría pedir más de un restaurante, no puedo esperar a volver!

La comida era deliciosa y el servicio fue genial! Es un gran lugar para tomar sus socios y lo recomendaría a cualquiera. La comida llegó muy rápido, el tamaño de la porción es increíble y el lugar es muy hermoso.

I visited The Majestic Bistro with friends recently and we were so impressed. The food was absolutely to die for! After ordering, each course was served quickly and our drinks were topped up consistently throughout the evening. They had a fantastic range of cocktails available and between myself and my friends we tried a few of them! They were all delicious. The food was presented in such a lovely way and the portion sizes were perfect. The sharing platter to start was unbelievable. We were so stuffed by the end of our mains but couldn't resist getting a desert! I overheard a guy on the table next to us say that his steak was the best he had ever had. Really really impressed and will be coming back for more!

What a wonderful little bistro the lighting and atmosphere is perfect and food to-die-for! Obviously i'm biased because i work in the adjoining theatre... but try it yourself and see what you think! I had a great time on my visit :)

Mi novio me trajo aquí para una noche de restaurantes debido a estrés de examen y fue absolutamente genial! La noche quedaron tan sin problemas debido a que el ambiente relajado y el personal amable. El entrante Cammenbert era precioso y mi carne estaba cocinada a la perfección absoluta. Probablemente el mejor bistec que he comido en un restaurante. El chocolate brownie era tan bonita que tuvimos que tomar una foto de ella! Si estás buscando un ambiente relajado con excelentes bebidas y comida aún mejor, este es el lugar para usted! No podría recomendarlo más. 100% 5 estrellas

Visited the Majestic bistro with a friend, from start to finish the experience was amazing! The most wonderful food (we both had steak, with chips and creamy greens) and were far too full to eat anything else! Great value for money and such beautiful place. All the staff are very friendly and make the experience so much more than food!

My second visit to the bistro and the food was again spectacular, the dining experience is both relaxed and quirky.. The staff are wonderful, the food is exceptional, the wine is great.. All in all, extremely pleasent experience of both taste and true charm!!

Opening night of the majestic bistro was a raving success. Beautiful art deco venue with a fantastic live singer. The food was amazing and generous, will be returning! Majestic bistro has a strong future ahead of it !!
