We have just received a takeaway from Magic Kitchen. The food was ok and arrived faster than the time they gave. But we ordered Duck in plum sauce & the Duck arrived In Pineapple instead!! I personally am not a fan of pineapple & certainly not in savoury dishes!!! I phoned up Magic Kitchen in hope they would send my correct order. But instead they told me that plum sauce is with pineapple!! But double checked the menu & plum & pineapple are definitely two separate options. Clearly just trying to fob me off rather than apologising and rectifying their mistakes. Mediocre food with poor customer service 😣

They're open layer and opposite a main bar so perfect, have an udon option an reasonably priced. The food however tasted stale and burnt when ordering at 10.30pm... I quickly realised this wasn't burnt.. Maybe a bit stale but the main issue is they're obviously using the same Wok to cook different food (hopefully a different one if you're veg).. Change your Wok even on quiet nights because flavours don't mix

Had a takeaway on 3/6/22 from bornemouth left all the food absolutely awful, ive never had a cashew chicken that was unchewable. Totally disgusted. And to make it worse paid by card and they shouted all my card details out loud. Totally appaling

I’ve just had a takeaway delivered it was on time and hot that’s the only plus points here! The special curry was absolutely tasteless and one piece of chicken was not cooked thoroughly enough , also it was full of nearly raw onions . The special fried rice was again lacking in any flavour and some of the chips were were very undercooked . I definitely won’t be ordering from here ever again! Totally a waste of money!

Called in on way to holiday flat after being in Bournemouth. Friendly people. Ordered a Chicken Chow Mein. Cheaper than back where I live and was piping hot after a 15 min walk. Will call in again before I leave for another one. Nice, clean and tidy waiting area

I advised the staff that I had corona virus and put this on my delivery notes and the guy still turns up to the front door leaving a 20cm distance. When i told them they didnt include items on the menu they told me i was wrong even though i was reading off their website. They then realised I wasnt lying and insisted the only was i would get a refund was if they picked up the order but as i told them already i have corona she litterally said "It doesnt matter" and "i dont care thats our problem" so she is putting people at risk by her negligence. DONT order here for your own safety. Have been a regular customer for a while but im gobsmacked by their response and attitude.

Tried this place again, having been disappointed in March 2019. Excellent in all respects. Chicken and mushroom soup with loads of both. Large spring roll very good indeed. Chicken with cashew nuts very good too, with lots of chicken and some nice veggies, making rice unnecessary. Service rather brusque...but order came quickly. Really enjoyed this meal.

We ordered a takeaway meal for four of us last night. Took a little longer than expected to arrive. But the best Chinese we have eaten in Bournemouth to date. Also better than the past five meals out. in Bournemouth in the past six months. Certainly recommend. Really fresh and very tasty.

Rang to enquire where are order was ordered 1828 and said would be delivered 1923 1940 ring to enquire and they said ‘We busy tonight bye’ How extremely rude Not going back ever

polite service and not long for food to be prepared. nothing else good to say the food was horrible, oily fried rice, oily burnt prawn toast and tofu disgusting with watery bland black been sauce. spring rolls went straight in the bin as also really over cooked. No pride has been taken in the cooking of any of this food.

In my opinion, this is one of the better Chinese restaurants I have ordered a takeaway from. The food is freshly cooked to order, it tastes of good quality and the prices are fair. Generally the speed of service from the point of ordering to getting my meal has been good. The takeaway itself is very clean and the open plan kitchen really boosts my opinion that they take food hygiene seriously. I don't shop around for my Chinese takeaway because Magic Kitchen have always been so good - they adapt orders for me without any problems and I always feel really satisfied with my meal.

Went for a fresh large spring roll and came out with a pre cooked re-deep fried stodgy tasteless mess.

Today we order a take away as a treat for the family. We often order from them for the past 6 years but the past year we notice the standard is dropping. Special fry rice horrible not a lot chicken pork and we counted only one prawn !!! Portion are all vegetables and not a lot meat. Also today there wasn’t any classic Chinese vegetable only lots lots lots lots of peppers and really far to much onion. Very disappointed.

The soup and spring roll were fine but I did not enjoy tomatoes sporting black mould on the skin. It simply made me wonder what else might be too far gone for consumption that I had not noticed....

I have been a customer of this restaurant for many years and I must say that the food there now is the best it’s ever been! I highly recommend this restaurant ! Not only for the food but for the service as well . Superb

Bless them they took our order just before they shut and they were fantastic, food quality was amazing and considering it was a big order we were thankful for doing it last minute.

Solo ordené desde aquí porque mi chino local habitual está cerrado los martes. Este fue el peor curry que he comido, el pollo era duro y seco, la salsa era muy suave y prácticamente no tenía sabor, los guisantes eran duros como una roca. Nunca volveré a ordenar de este lugar, decepcionante!

Ordenamos por teléfono desde aquí para una entrega. La señora del teléfono era nueva, así que no estaba segura de algunas cosas, pero parecía muy agradable. Esperamos unos 45 minutos para nuestra comida. Pedimos pollo chow mein - delicioso, el pollo era tan agradable! , arroz frito con huevo - promedio, pollo agridulce - el mejor que he probado, pollo satay - la salsa de maní era demasiado espesa y enfermiza, pero el pollo estaba bien.Definitivamente volveremos a estar muy contentos y los tamaños de las porciones fueron muy generosos!

Elegimos un menú fijo. Gran variedad de elección y un 20% de descuento en la misma cosas si elegido directamente.El tamaño de las porciones eran generosas y abundantes.La comida estaba preparado a pedido, así que era totalmente delicioso y caliente. Incluso después de un paseo de 15 minutos a casa.Todo el personal trabaja duro para ofrecer un buen servicio. Excelente. Sin duda seguiré usando.Aquí está una foto de un cliente muy satisfecho. Después de varias recomendaciones, pruebo Magic Kitchen. . . Estoy decepcionado y no entiendo las críticas positivas. Dicen que están sanos y que todo, excepto todo, era muy grasoso y que el arroz con hongos sabía a comida quemada. El pollo de anacardo sabía realmente raro y la carne no estaba lo suficientemente cocinada. . . Lo siento mucho porque estaba deseando probar este lugar para llevar. . . Nunca más.

Excelente. ¿Qué más necesito agregar? Servicio amable y eficiente, muy buenos sabores, buen tamaño de porción y relación calidad-precio. Siempre me dan la cena preparada para uno, un panecillo grande, arroz amigo amigo y una selección de cualquier plato de carne o pollo para 8. 50. Lo divido por la mitad y obtengo dos comidas grandes. ¡Soy un gran admirador de este hermoso lugar! Un amigo mío comió allí (es muy quisquilloso) y realmente lo disfrutó.

Otra comida increíble para este local, mi orden fue muy sabrosa y no usan MCG y la mejor calidad. Honestamente, este es el mejor chino en Bournemouth. The portion was generous, tasty and good chinese food. The salt and chilly squid was nice. Sweet and sour chicken was good. However, spring roll was a bit oily.

Durante muchos años nos han residido durante parte del año en Boscombe. Que se ha visto mejores días y tiene que 'inner city 'ambiente de abuso y mal uso, pero nos encanta por su ubicación e instalaciones, y está cerca, pero no en Bournemouth. Una cosa que hemos estado carece de una buena comida para llevar China local. Somos viejos pensionistas, pero muy activo y sientes la mayoría del tiempo, así que creo que no, que todavía estamos en nuestro 40. Pero una cosa no es hacer de edad más selectivo y crítico, y que ha de ser "derecho" a ser acordado en mi esposa. Utilizamos Top Wok en Christchurch durante muchos años, pero para nosotros es bastante lejos y, por lo tanto, porque no he encontrado uno que me atrajo más cerca, rara vez topamos tener llevar china. Me temo que estoy sg', y fuimos a una tienda y pregunté si lo usa. 'Ah, sí, a nosotros y ser feliz con lo mucho" fue la respuesta que malinterpretar mi preocupación! ! De todos modos hace unas semanas en la cocina pasando por alguien recomendado Magic. Así que hicimos un pedido por teléfono durante un período de tiempo establecido y caminamos para recogerla. Estaba listo, el servicio muy atento, un montón de cocineros que se celebraría, el tipo de lugar que inmediatamente te da confianza. Y la comida estuvo a la altura de la recomendación. No puedo encontrar ninguna crítica feliz hemos encontrado lo que por muchos años que estábamos buscando, pero a nuestra edad nos sentimos demasiado reservados para tomar la oportunidad de encontrar.

Lo siento pero no puedo encontrar nada sobre esta comida para llevar, eso es bueno. La operadora fue educado, pero cuando nos dieron la comida estaba fría. Después de esperar tres cuartos de hora para la comida (que para ser justos nos dijeron que sería este largo) teníamos hambre y ganas de comer, pero como he dicho, estaba frío, muy soso, la salsa con las costillas, que debería haber sido salsa de barbacoa era la salsa curry sobras congeladas sin duda no fue curry salsa. No volvería allí otra vez.

Great staff, but thats about it. Im sad to say but when a take away Chinese screws up chips you know your in deep trouble. The satay chicken was like insipid dish water...tasteless and vile...the prawn toast was really bad...the hong kong style sweet and sour pork was equally waterery and dreadfull....i cant even be bothered with the rest of the meal.. Lucky bin i say, the curry sauce and cheap frozen veg spring rolls saved the day but even they were low quaility...by then we was so hungry we would have eaten anything (accept the takeaway). This place has to sort thenselves out. Im bitterly disapointed and must warn others to look before they eat!!!! Sort it out.

De hecho puedes probar las salsas e ingredientes en la comida aquí, y ambas son muy bonitas. El personal es amable y eficiente, el tamaño de las porciones son grandes, es un precio muy razonable y nunca he tenido que esperar más de 15 minutos para mi pedido (suficiente tiempo para un recorrido en el pub de la calle).

Mi primera y última comida desde aquí. Quizás son solo tener una mala noche, pero ofertas espantoso y sin sabor. Pedí pollo y sopa de maíz dulce sabor - no en absoluto y definitivo falta de identificables de los trozos de pollo. Spring roll con orden de lado de salsa satay - Spring roll knobbly más raros jamás visto, sabía bien, pero quemada en un extremo y crudo y empapadas en otros. La salsa satay, mi única descripción será marrón pálido, liquidy, insípido, y creo que el nuevo bebé nacido! Plato principal fue pollo con nueces de anacardo y huevo frito con arroz pollo no claramente diferentes de cualquier manera de la cebolla seca y de rock duro. Encontramos 6 de anacardo después propinas todo para encontrarlos. El arroz podría haber estado bien, pero no me molesté ni siquiera probarlo como ya binned todo lo demás. Pérdida de tiempo, dinero y el apetito

After trying many places this is the best. So juicy and full of flavour. Delivery always spot on sometimes earlier.I would recommend 100% and also the duck and mushroom dish.

We ordered a delivery from The Magic Kitchen so it wouldn't be fair to be to expectant. The food we received was pretty average. The quality of the ingredients was ok and alot is made of the restaurant being MSG free but, every dish lacked any real punch of flavour. It would be a struggle to name any dish in a blind taste test! Filling and edible, not interesting or somewhere for an indulgent treat!

I used to live round the corner from the Magic Kitchen and raved about their Chinese but when we moved I gave other closer Chinese takeaways a chance only to end up back ordering from Magic Kitchen. It's well worth waiting for them to deliver! The food is always so tasty and I love that unlike most Chinese takeaways they don't put artificial flavours or colourings into their dishes! I always have the Sweet & Sour Chicken Hong Kong style or Crispy Shredded Beef in a fruity sauce. Both are cooked to perfection and come with plenty of sauce to pour onto your rice or noodles. I also really like their peking rolls, prawn crackers and seaweed as sides, both of them arrive crispy despite the journey and are like mouthfuls of heaven! The other great thing about Magic Kitchen is you can order side portions of sauces so I often get satay sauce or hoisin sauce to dip the sides in! The staff there are always really helpful and happy to answer any questions, we live in a hard to find area and I have ended up having rows with takeaway companies in the best who can't follow directions and refuse to deliver despite accepting payment. I have never had this problem with Magic Kitchen, they always deliver in less time than expected and with a smile of the delivery man's face!

I have often had takeaways from this establishment. I had a friend over and we ordered quite a few dishes. Everything was hot and perfect. The guy who delivered was very quick and polite. I am very impressed with the whole experience. You must give these guys a go when you are in town!!! Or thinking of ordering for the first time. Great VALUE for money!!! well done guys! this is the only chinese take away i order from. they are very fast with delivery time, i am not far admittedly but usually maximum 20 minute wait. Food ALWAYS arrives piping hot and in large portions! friends are always impressed when i introduce them to this take away. Food is always cooked beautifully too. TOP place if you haven't tried it i highly recommend you do :)

Came across this takeaway whilst staying in the eastern fringes of Bournemouth & finding ourselves needing something to eat! I have visited China six times so have experienced authentic Chinese food many times. The food from the Magic Kitchen ranks pretty highly. Prices are reasonable, on a par with my hometown, one of the least expensive parts of the UK in which to live. Chicken chow mein, duck & pineapple, boiled rice & chips came to £11.60. Very happy with that. It's probable we will return before the week is out. :-)

The menu doesn't mention that cards (for orders under £10.00) and cheques are not accepted, but makes a lot of the 'open kitchen'; it is indeed 'open' but you can't see what's going on, since polystyrene containers are piled high between you and it! As I have found with other establishments claiming to produce monosodium-free' food, the results need pepping up with seasoning if they are not to taste completely bland. Magic Kitchen proudly, and somewhat amusingly boasts 'Heathy Food'(sic): ( I do so enjoy a generous portion of peat with my dishes!) The lady behind the counter when I went was pretty severe; my bill came to £9.90 but she resolutely refused my Visa Card. The prices are very reasonable (a good 30% lower than my normal Chinese takeaway at home) and there are some healthy and interesting options on the menu, eg. prawns, duck, beef or chicken with broccoli, French beans or mangetout rather than the usual goo-ey sauces. The duck I chose was a generous portion though, as stated above, it needed a goodly amount of salt and pepper to make it appetising. I started with a soup, and again this needed seasoning to make it interesting. Spring rolls are good.
