I had gone to Apple for a repair on my MacBook and was quoted £600+ which I was happy to pay at the time — they returned my laptop after sending it to the Czech Republic for a week without having done anything to it, and now quoting me £1600 for the repair. (They had said it was due to unauthorised changes made to the machine, which funnily enough, they themselves had made during a previous repair at their Covent Garden location). This entire experience threw me off of Apple, so I decided to come to the MacSmiths. Paul was incredibly helpful, immediately identifying how we could fix the machine — and it was ready to be picked up within less than a week, and for a great price. I recommend the MacSmiths highly!!! So convenient location wise as well. 5/5 stars for sure. Thank you!

After taking my laptop to apple for an out of warranty repair. That would have been more expense than a new laptop.They mis identified fluid damage and it took 7 days to get the laptop back. Paul replaced the MLB for a reasonable price the same day I took it too him - he opened the machine in front of me a took time to point out the damage and discuss the repair.

I have been going to Paul for the best part of a decade for my various computer concerns. He has helped me with everything from a coffee spill all over my Mac when in uni (a total crisis!) to most recently giving my husbands and mothers computers a full service and upgrade! He is brilliant, fast, very reasonably priced and just the most lovely, charming and knowledgable man! If you’re having a computer crisis he is the only person in London I would recommend! Had my Macbook pro 2017 repaired here in 2021, Paul swapped the battery and did a general clean up as it tended to overheat (as I now know that most of the '17 pros do!). It still runs strong to this day and can take quite CPU heavy programmes without fail. Read some of the 0 star reviews here and had to laugh. Some people just don't want to be helped! Have recommended Paul to friends and fam, everyone has been happy with the speedy and reliable support. :)

Hi! Someone recommended the Macsmiths and was impressed! Paul knew the problem with my macair immediately it was ready within 2 hours and I just picked it up and it looks spanking new he tidied it up and I bet it’s extra fast now too as he’s cleaned it up & got rid of some annoying virus clean up scammers on it!!!! Paul is simply amazing and this is an incredible service! I just dropped in and handed him my MacBook Air and he was able to immediately diagnose the problem. He explained clearly what would need to be fixed and outlined the cost in a very understandable manner, and was extremely honest. He had my laptop working again perfectly within just a few hours and it appears he even did a thorough cleaning of it to get it gleaming and shining to boot. MacSmiths is just so much faster and more efficient than anywhere else I've ever experienced and Paul deserves all the positive reviews! Would recommend to anyone, thanks again.

What a guy!! My MacBook died this morning after I updated it and could not be turned back on. Dropped it to The MacSmiths at midday and three hours later the problem was solved and I’d collected my laptop - all for a fraction of what you’d pay getting it fixed through Apple/the price of a new laptop. Hugely recommend!

I thought my 8 year old MacBook had reached its sad end but decided to try the “free diagnostic” service Macsmiths advertise. Paul was super friendly, informative and figured out the problem immediately. He reassured me that in spite of my machines age it was well worth reviving and he did so in a matter of hours. He gave a quote on the spot which he honoured even though he generously replaced more parts that initially thought. I am so relieved I came in here and repaired my laptop. I’m sure if I’d have gone to Apple they would have made me feel it was a lost cause, charged me much more, and ultimately tried to sell me something new. Big thanks to Paul. I learned a lot from him today and his service was faultless start to finish. I’ll be sure to return here with any Mac issues in the future, felt in great hands.

It might sound cliche but you really can't get a better Mac repair shop if you tried. The guy running it, Paul, is super friendly, helpful and communicative. He ran me through what was causing the issues with my Macbook Air and how long he thought it would take to fix it. I received a text within the hour saying the Macbook was ready for collection... he said it would take a day! He also promised it wouldn't cost more than his initial estimation (which by the way was HALF what the Apple Store quoted) and even though he incurred additional costs he didn't charge me for it. Incredible service, great cost and much quicker than anywhere else. I mean come on, this place is awesome! 💻🚀🩺

I've been using the MacSmith for repairs for over 5 years now..Once again today the service was quick, professional and thorough. After replacing a damaged Logic Board, Paul noticed my Track-pad had also been damaged and replaced it working another half hour and dealing with the additional problem free of charge. Kind and knowledgable, I will be back and will continue to highly recommend this service.

Brilliant! I had an issue with one of my MacBook Pro's and the local Apple reseller looked at it and suggested nearly £1,300 to fix it so I nearly decided to condemn it. Took it to these guys (as I pass them on the way to our London office) and they fixed it for under £500. Amazing service and the explanation they give you on what they plan to do and actually what they've done is superb - Can't speak highly enough of my experience

After checking the reviews I decided to go to MacSmiths as my Macbook was damaged. I had tried to go to the brand shop but they couldn't help me and encouraged me to buy a new laptop which was disappointing but not surprising. At MacSmiths I was told about what exactly was wrong in less than 2 minutes. The laptop was fixed in no time. For a very reasonable price, my macbook has been revived and looks brand new. I'm so grateful thanks so much!

I would 100% recommend the MacSmiths for any issues you might have. It was very efficient ( so no stress of having to leave your laptop for days on end) plus if its fixable they can often repair your Mac within an hour or two. It was like an F1 Pit Stop..............A previous problem with the Graphics card getting OVERHEATED (maybe a bit of liquid damage!!, dunno how that happened!). MacBook Pro Late 2011 Motherboard come out and in went MacBook Pro 2012 Motherboard (with USB 3). A little bit of jiggly pokey and BOOM. I got an upgraded machine that will hopefully latest a bit longer now. Within the hour. Thanks MacSmith

This place is amazing! They lovingly brought back to life my loyal macbook pro, restoring the original components where they could. Fee was perfectly reasonable and service super fast. My laptop is quite dated but here this seems to be appreciated - nothing goes wasted here, there is no rush or push to upgrading or changing unless it's inevitable. And they really do their best to avoid that. They also talk you through all the steps they're going to take and why, so you can make an informed decision. I guess it's the level of service you'd expect from the best mechanics of classic cars - but for Macs :)

They have been my go to Mac repair shop - especially since Apple Care wore out. Prices aren't super low, but they are fair. If they can find a more affordable and sustainable way to fix your equipment, they will. Highly recommended.

Best mac repair specialist in the UK? Quite possibly. Took my macbook air to multiple specialists after light water damage - including the apple store, and multiple other reputable specialisrs. All gave varying reasons and cited it as unrepairable. 2 months after it breaking, and unsatisfied with my less than confident, varying feedback each time, I take it to Macsmiths. Within a minute of arrival, Paul has cleaned the machine. Within 3 minutes, the back is off and components are being inspected under his surgeon-like backlit magnifying glass. Left in his reassuring hands, 30 mins later I get a call diagnosing the fault. 1 hour after that, the faulty part is repaired and machine fixed. Hard drive and everything else perfect. You are a lifesaver. Would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. Paul should be known nationally.

This is local to where I work and we pop in now and again for after work drinks and food. Service is Nice. Friendly Team. Banging Fish Roti and those Breadfruit balls are a problem..I.E Too good to share 👀👀🤣🤣 Theyre on Just Eat too some Home Delivery available for food.

I have visited this establishment multiple times and previously enjoyed the dining experience, but this visit was an extreme disappointment, primarily due to the appalling quality of service. From the start, the experience was riddled with mistakes and unprofessional behavior. After being seated and offered water, the waitress proceeded to pour water leaning over one of my guests as she could not reach over and spilling ice across the table. Instead of walking around to properly serve the water, she leaned over and attempted to clean up by using her hands to scoop up the fallen ice, which was unprofessional. Next, when the waiter came to take our order, I asked for the meunière cod, clearly describing it as per the menu (lightly floured and shallow-fried in butter). Instead of confirming the order, the waiter incorrectly interpreted this as a request for battered fish. He repeated the order back with visible confusion and uncertainty, further diminishing confidence in the service. The final straw came with the same waitress who spilled the water earlier. When serving the prawn cocktail starter, she dropped both the spoon and fork on my shoes which required a visit to the bathroom to clean which was both careless and frustrating. After enduring this series of poor service incidents, I spoke to the General Manager, expecting a resolution or at least an acknowledgment of the issues. Unfortunately, the GM failed to address the situation adequately. To add insult to injury, when the bill arrived, it included a service charge despite the unacceptable service. We had to request for it to be removed. While the food remains good, the service has deteriorated to an appalling standard. The lack of professionalism from the staff and the failure of the General Manager to resolve these issues have made this an incredibly disappointing experience. I will not be returning.

Another year as I am satisfied with the renting team so I rent with JLL again but nightmare comes the property manager still drive me mad, she only replied to the emails she wants to reply and ignore the questions she doesn’t wants to reply. I feel super hard to communicate with her and also as I just want she kind to me although I am not think she is good for her job every single time she ask 5 stars trustpilot I did for her. But she still not doing her jobs well. Sometimes send wrong emails and never remember my name and I still have not got my deposit yet. I really need change a new property manager as I already try to stand her for a year but nothing changed and I don’t think she can change please do help us to change a property manger I change my star because of the help with Joanna Ludlow, she is so kind and helpful. now everything solved! But I still feel not pleasant with the communication with the property manager, she did not help and avoid any help way. in the letting process everything is fine and I am happy to pay the deposit and first month's rent. And the person who contact me is also kind. But when I moved in everything is different. I am not sure why JLL has a property team but do nothing, if they have one and let us to use it, they need help! I told the property manager I am not expect the last tenant's belongs in the flat, and wish she can contact the last tenant or the landlord to take them away, but she said I have not write this in my tenancy agreement but I signed it in march and the last tenant check out in May, how can I know she will leave her stuff in the flat? this really not make sense. and the last tenant's things even broken and I give up said if you do not wish to dispose it you still can let someone to repair it, she still ignore the it and said I need keep it! And the clean of washing machine is not present which also indicate in the inventory check, but she do not bother to let the cleaner come again to clean the washing machine instead she said I can stay it not nice as it was when I move out?? this attitude made me so annoying! Every single conversation is useless, and she is still my property manager during my stay I am not sure if she can help other problem during my stay. Although I am happy the problems have been solved by other people I still feel the conversation with the property manger is not great! The other year I changed the property manger and the new one is kind so I changed the star to 3
