We recently hosted a private event for 60 people to celebrate a Christening, and it was absolutely perfect! The mix of adults and children were well accommodated with a wonderful selection of sandwiches, hot platters, and cakes. The food was delicious, fresh, and well-presented, catering to everyone's tastes. The service was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and efficient, making the event run smoothly. The venue itself is in a perfect spot, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The little terrace outside was a great touch, providing a lovely space for guests to enjoy drinks and chat in the fresh air. Overall, this venue exceeded our expectations and made our celebration memorable. Highly recommend for any private events!

Avoid weekends at all cost. Totally understaffed. We waited 15 minutes for 2 coffees and after a further 40 minute wait for 2 toasties my husband got up to pay for the coffee. That very minute one toastie arrived… burnt sourdough with thick slices of tomato and hardly any cheese, limp rocket with too much balsamic glaze. The other order was still missing! Sorry guys, will not return.

Great atmosphere and beautiful space. Not much options for vegan. Would expect loose tea leaves not Lichfield in a setting like this. But staff kind and polite so makes up for it.

Hopefully some constructive criticism - this was our first visit and we called in for a coffee on the morning of the village Halloween trail (so the High St was probably busier than normal). We asked if there were any croissants - the girl serving said "I'm not sure if we've got any left - I'll check - they might have all gone..." (I found this surprising as it was only 10:15am and I'd have thought they would have been prepared for a larger footfall than normal.....) The manager (I assume) spoke to a young lad behind the counter and the young lad told us he just needed to go out and get some more. So we waited - and then the young lad came back (obviously from the Co-op) with two packets of croissants....I think you can see the problem....We probably won't visit again...

I had an incredible time at this gorgeous wine bar in Ingatestone. This new upcoming business is such a great addition to the town. The team here are super friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. The unique vintage Italian feel to this wine bar is like nothing I've experienced before. From start to finish of our night was so lovely and could not fault, not to mention how delicious the food was that complimented the wine perfectly. Would highly recommend this place and defiantly be returning soon.

Really enjoyed my time at the pub, food was amazing and very well priced, hospitality was A⭐️. I would highly recommend the pub, new landlord is a really nice fella and couldn’t do enough to help me and the family. I highly recommend the pub and will be making a return visit soon.

Closed down, don't waste your time coming. Brentwood council is currently executing a gentrification program against its constituents in Brentwood.

Literally the world’s worst costa. Unless there is literally no one inside you’re waiting until someone has walked to South America to pick coffee beans themselves before being served. The fact that it’s the only real coffee shop on the high street remains the only reason it hasn’t been made to shut its doors. Anymore than 1 customer in that store and it’s a guaranteed 10 minute wait. Staff are nice enough. Place is just hardly ever clean. And only come if you’ve got half an hour spare to wait for a coffee being made. Still it makes for a fun game playing ‘which one of these people who placed an order after me will be served before me’ Last 5 years has been the same. Sooner someone who cares about service puts it out of business, the better
