Booked The Secret Room for a surprise birthday party. Booked a food and drinks package. Staff were super helpful with great customer service. We had the Room until 1am, which was fab.

We came as a big group and had a lovely room to ourselves, great environment and Leilt was amazing looking after us - brilliant service

Lovely atmosphere but music is way too loud at 6pm to have a conversation so ended up moving on

I hired the boardroom for an all-day business mastermind, and it was perfect. Small, intimate, the right temperature, light, and with very helpful staff on hand at all times. All the delegates were happy, and so I’ll be back for my next event! Thank you for looking after us so well, in your lovely venue.

burnt food , tasteless pasta , slow table service for drinks . tables to close together. rude staff that don’t even stand close to table when taking to you . used glasses not cleared away when new drinks delivered.

Unfortunately didn’t have the best experience, staff couldn’t care less, the main thing the staff were bothered about was the bottomless brunch so anyone else eating couldn’t get any service. Sadly the food was expensive and disappointing we didn’t even finish our meals. Not a good vibe in there at all ! Avoid

Came here for some relaxing drinks with the kids today, got served by Richard at the bar and also had a good laugh with Reece. Daniel the manager was very nice to us aswell, making us feel very welcomed in the place. Will come back!

This is our fourth time for bottomless brunch at the Lost & Found. While the food is decent, it's the excellent service and fantastic atmosphere that keeps us coming back. This time our server was Ahdeba. Thank you so much for your help!

First class experience in the private room

Service was really slow and rubbish. Food bland no flavour but a positive is the cocktails were nice. The chicken and fish are fried in the same oil so limited options for friend with allergies. In this day and age cross contamination should not occur.

Food and drinks were amazing, the atmosphere was really good on a Thursday evening - beautiful venue, nice and warm.

Super restaurant, good food, friendly staff and a big plus is that you could bring your dog.

Went for a meal Sunday night. Food was OK but hubby asked for 3 different types of beer to be told not available as they had been busy the day before. It was really quiet & by 9pm we were the only people left in the pub fortunately we enjoyed the company we were with so we made our own atmosphere.

Me and my boyfriend came for dinner we over enjoyed ourselves, food was amazing and the best service ever from Lucinda definitely will be returning loving place lovely service

Myself and 3 friends came here for my 30th birthday. I was really looking forward to it! We ordered one drink with food which came but we all agreed the food was not great. Around 30 minutes after eating, we all felt unwell and myself and one other friend felt very hot and faint and both vomited. Bear in mind I had had one rum and coke and my friend had drank half a cider. We spoke to a very polite waiter who called her the manager. The manager was EXTREMELY rude. She said it was impossible that this was our food. I asked if the glasses had been contaminated in any way instead as this was definitely not normal for any of us. We did not ask for any refund as she was talking over us with an awful attitude and could not get a word in edgeways. I was so shocked and advised her we felt this was bad service as we genuinely just wanted to know what was making us unwell. We were told ‘ you don’t have to pay but you all need to get out now ‘. We left without paying as she asked us to and with the manager rolling her eyes at us but this was not the aim, we wanted to enjoy my birthday evening. Genuinely would not have written this review had the manager not been so actively rude. 100% do not recommend due to this reason. We all went home without even enjoying any other bars or restaurants as we felt too unwell.

Fantastic. Chef was so accommodating. Organised us with a pre-order menu because we were a larger party. No errors. Waiters were so kind and helpful. Loved it. Host could have been a little warmer and communicated better, just seemed a little rushed and busy. But overall, highly recommend.

Service was extremely slow and poor. From getting drinks, to ordering food, to getting the bill—some of the worst service I’ve had lately. It was also FREEZING in there and only as we walked out did we see signs saying the heat was broken and offering blankets. It would have been nice to have been told that by an employee at the beginning.

We went for the restaurant, although it wasn't a good dining experience. It felt more like a bar that did food. It was loud and everyone seemed quite drunk, which is fine, if you're going on a 'sesh' and want food aswell, then great. But I wouldn't reccemend solely as a dining experience. It's a slightly nicer Slug and Lettuce. Very chavy, very loud.

Great night for a 30th birthday in the private mezzanine, Luke the barman was fantastic! 5* atmosphere was awesome and the staff were really attentive!

We did not have a good experience. It was freezing cold as the heating was broken and despite having booked we were not contacted to be given this information. We had 2 elderly parents with us. Having arrived at 1pm for our book time the staff were very slow to great us. We then waited a very long time for our food. It was past 2pm when our food came out . When our food arrived 2 the orders were wrong. So we had to wait for our food while everyone else was eating, they then came to tells us that what we had ordered was not available and we had to chose again from the menu. I added some chicken to mine which was £4 which was tiny, dry and hard. We were unimpressed with the portion size of the pasta which cost £18 and was again very small. Chips were bought that we had not ordered. The restaurant was not busy, the manager sort of apologised for the food order and took 20% off each dish, but this was poor recompense as we were not able to eat together.

The heating was broke and I had to help keep my in laws warm and toasty. Luckily, the venue provided hand warmers and blankets.

Came for dinner on a Monday evening with no welcome from a host, so went to the bar and was quite rudely told to wait over at the door. Waited for 10 mins in an empty restaurant not sure where the staff were but not a great start. Finally seated I ordered some drinks and food. Just a coke and lemonade both came pretty quickly but the lemonade was flat. Then came the starter, a camembert to share . Cooked properly no hard bit in the middle where the cheese wasn't heated properly and lovely sourdough. Unfortunately that was where the positives ended. We ordered two sirloins but we're told they didn't have any so decided to go for fillets instead which should of came with triple cooked chips, king oyster mushroom confit tomato and rocket salad if I remember. The steaks where both over cooked and cold at the same time which is a funny skill set to have. They decided to replace the king oyster mushroom with a single button mushroom ( unfortunately for them I work in the kitchen industry and understand the cost and value of these mushrooms and it's not an acceptable replacement especially not to serve a single button mushroom) the triple cooked chips had literally just been fried 3 times burnt within a inch of their life and also cold. Not sure if you're aware this is not the process of making triple cooked chips maybe you check your chefs level of ability if this is how the operate. Went over to the bar to let the staff know about all the problems with the main course because £31.5 for a cold meal is not acceptable. At this point I was asked if I'd like the food reheated, unfortunately reheated steaks will only lead them to being even more over cooked so this wouldn't have worked for me and the chips were so burnt if you tried to cook them anymore it would have been charcoal. So I asked if we could have the whole meal cooked again fresh. The response was there don't have any more steaks on site so we can't. At this point I had to ask for the steaks to be removed from the bill so I could end this horror show of a night . The staff where happy to do this but not without a bad attitude like I was the one causing a problem. I paid for starters and drinks as had little issue with that and left. Luckily our night was saved by a lovely Italian restaurant around the corner. With great service and lovely food

I liked a lot the attendance. The waitress Leilt is so kind. The restaurant is in an old building with a high ceiling. Very beautiful. I recommend.

Had starters - too cold - no heating , apparently out of action for last 2 months - radiators in corridor booming hot - suppose main restaurant on a separate system - walked over to cozy club - nice & warm ...

Bottomless drinks were undrinkable

Very poor. Service was slow, server appeared uninterested. 'triple cooked' chips looked like they had hardly been cooked once and in cold oil. Cod was over cooked, minted peas were cold.

Visited for dinner at 8.30. Service was slow. The bar was very cold. Had to sit with our coats on. Food was very good 😊. Ordered a second drink which never came. Some confusion over bill and then when it came had to wait about 10 minutes for the staff member to come back with the pay machine. Atmosphere in the bar was good 👍

I was extremely disappointed by the service I received and overall experience of the Lost and Found Birmingham. I decided to have my 21st birthday meal here after dining a few times in the Lost and Found at Leeds and enjoying the atmosphere. I can wholeheartedly say the entire experience was a disaster. Service was beyond slow waiting an hour to get and drinks order and the same amount of time to receive the drinks. The quality of food was also below average and overpriced. It was way too noisy, stupidly dark and such a dismal atmosphere. My friends said it was like a dressed up spoons! To their credit the manager gave us a small discount but that didn’t make up for this meal which was an important birthday celebration being ruined. I wouldn’t go back nor would I encourage anyone to do the same.

We sat in the Boardroom due to being a bigger group. The atmosphere was intimate, private and quiet. However, going out to the restaurant it was incredibly loud. My partner is a wheelchair user and although the access isn't easy the staff were super helpful. Service was slow but the waitress kept us updated and regularly checked on us. Food and cocktails are delicious, highly recommend Masala Fish and Chips.

We booked online before we arrived in the city. You are shown to a reserved area and have a 2 hour slot, so you don't feel under pressure to eat and run. I loved the feel of the building and the way it has been styled. I had the fish and chips, nice light batter and clean flaky fish. I really enjoyed the homemade Tartare sauce(with seaweed) Husband had steak and this came out medium as requested. Both meals were delicious as were desserts! Sunday roast menu also looked tempting!

Despite the atmosphere being very noisy for dinner, we were very impressed with the quality of the food. The waitress managed to move us a to a quieter table which was great, although we didn’t like having to order via the website, would much rather have human interaction. We did have to go and find someone at one point to check on our main courses. Food was exceptional though - the best fish and chips we have ever tasted!! The wine was also very nice, although a bit on the pricey side. We will definitely be back :)

Great service, Food was a bit bland but the decor and is nice and the atmosphere is cool.

It's a beautiful building to eat in and service was good. Food was a mixed bag – we loved the sausage roll but the crispy squid was soft with a chewy strip. The bathrooms need some maintenance with broken door locks, hand dryers and loo roll holders

My husband and I loved everything here -- from the food, the place and most especially the service. Leilt is so lovely! She made us feel comfortable as it was our first time eating here. We'll definitely come back. 5 stars! 💖

Great experience, I didn't book a table beforehand, but they gave me one. Food was really good. I had the truffle pasta and the crème brûlée. Daniel was really nice. I can highly recommend this place :)

My steak was a little over done and the music was quite loud for the time of day. However Zarina was a great host. She settled us in and made us feel welcome right away. She was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Would recommend for BBrunch for the service.

An awful experience in short. We went on a Sunday disregarding a couple of disparaging reviews to judge for ourselves... they were cortect. As the reviews, they'd run out of 3 of 4 types of steak & the remaining 8oz fillet was tiny as was the lamb chop in the lamb mixed grill. The beer was off & it was freezing as another review & we kept our coats on. Won't be back there!!!

Our table was 18:00 until 19:30. We waited at the reception desk for 10 minutes before my son had to go and look for someone to serve us. We were then seated and our drink and food orders were taken 5 minutes later. We had to chase the waitress up at 18:55 as the drinks still hadnt arrived! They were then bought over 5 minutes later (45 minutes after order!) our food was then another 10 minutes (nearly an hour after order was taken). We finished our food and our plates were taken around 19:40. We sat there for another 20 minutes waiting for someone to ask if we wanted desert or even another drink as we were sitting with empty glasses for quite a period. All this time there were numerous waiters and waitress walking by just looking at our table but seemingly not aknowledging us. The time was now 20:00 and we finally got fed up and had to go and ask a waitress to bring the bill over as we had 2 young children and was told at booking that children needed to be gone by this time. We paid the bill with a waitress so we got our coats on ready to leave, then was stopped by a waiter to make sure we wasnt leaving without paying. Really shocking experience and quite suprised at the level of service. I dont think we will be back any time soon.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was so so, but for the quality, not sure it's value for money. Main gripe was the fact that the triple cooked chips (a bit on the brown side and seemed like they were reheated rather than freshly cooked) were served under the fish so they weren't crispy at all due to condensation from the fish. Fish cooked well though - crispy batter and not oily. Also liked the lemon tartar sauce - tasty.

We came here for cocktails on a Saturday night before a dinner reservation elsewhere. This place was amazing, it had such a nice warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for sitting down, relaxing and having a chat with your mates with good music in the background and really delicious cocktails. I can recommend this place.

Charlotte was an absolutely brilliant server, so friendly, accommodating & cheerful. Atmosphere & food was lovely. I've been here twice now & would highly recommend it. Bottomless brunch both times & for £35 for food & service is incredible. I had vegan breakfast which was delicious & we had prosecco on arrival both times. Never had to ask for drinks as we were always asked if we needed some so never had to seek out a server. Can not stress enough how fantastic the service & atmosphere is here. My favourite place for brunch!

We had a lovely dining experience, and I want to especially highlight Charlotte's exceptional service. She was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout. She frequently checked on us with a warm smile, making sure we were happy with our food and if we needed anything else. It made us feel genuinely cared for.🥰Although Charlotte seemed to handle everything on her own (the manager was nowhere to be seen🥷), she managed everything perfectly. We had made a reservation to celebrate two birthdays, and her hospitality truly added to the occasion.🎉💯 As for the food, while most of it was delicious, there was a slight issue with the steak we ordered (12 oz Argentine beef). It had a somewhat bitter aftertaste, which might have come from the grill not being properly cleaned some marks on the meat made that taste. However, aside from that, the portion was generous and enjoyable. The chorizo in the mac and cheese was outstanding, and I was pleasantly surprised by the steak mushrooms and tomato, they were thoughtful additions with delightful flavors.😍👌 Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, thanks to Charlotte's fantastic service and the mostly delicious food.🥂❤️

Would be ZERO STARS BUT only getting two starts because of the few bottles of Prosecco they gave to make up for what ended up completely spoiling my sisters 21st birthday party. My cousins and I looked for a place to book my sisters 21st birthday party. She specifically wanted somewhere with vines/flower walls and twinkle lights. Long story short after multiple phone calls and booked months in advance to ensure we got a specific area of the restaurant this wasn't the case when we arrived. Nor were we informed that the music is so loud you can't have a conversation with the person sitting next to you (we love a party but a family celebration dinner wasn't the place). We ended up being sat in a dark dingy area of the restaurant which was such a disappointment my cousin who had booked it and my sister who's birthday it was ended up in tears. This was one thing, secondly the MIXED GRILL and TRUFFLE PASTA were terrible portion sizes. The pasta was like a starter size it was actually astonishing and so disappointing overall.

Had a lovely solo dining experience here that made a boring work trip much more special. Love the vegan dishes that showcase real veg and the atmosphere is stunning. (Shout out to my server, Dan.T who went up and down the spiral staircase all evening for just me on the upper level, lovely service!)
