Great atmosfeer, great staff, delicious food

One of the city’s best hidden treasures and jewels in the crown in the heart of Birmingham.. A glorious spacious and pretty. venue. Staff are very accommodating, attentive and welcoming. Good choices of world lagers and cocktails. I haven’t tried the food yet but will do as it looks and smells amazing from what I saw of it.. I look forward to visiting you again in the very near future. Thank you for your hospitality .

Lovely place to meet up for drinks

We had the most amazing bottomless brunch for a 30th Birthday celebration. Staff were attentive, food and drink plentiful.

Charlotte was absolutely delightful and so helpful! She was very informed on all matters allergy related and we were able to have an amazing time without worrying about food. The atmosphere was great! Thank you.

Utterly disgraceful. The website paints it as a quaint Victorian hideaway with quirky service. In truth it’s a glorified weatherspoons at 4x the price (£11.50 for a double g&t!) it has sticky floors, blaring music, the table want ready when we arrived, and it took forever to get an order in. It is under no circumstances a place to have a civilised meal. Avoid like the plague!

Food was average. The service was poor. We were forgotten about while being the only table in at the time. We ordered a 3 course lunch menu deal. After waiting for ages after finishing our main the server never came to take our plates and bring desert. Had to get up and call them. After our dessert was finally brought the server forgot to take away dirty plates from the finished main (had to remind them ourselves).

This was a relatively last minute booking for a large party. Staff were really helpful and accomodating in advance and on the day. Food was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Really glad a friend recommended it. Would come again.

Came in today with some family and friends. We were served by a very pleasant lad named Dan T. The service was excellent and the food tasted amazing. Overall a very enjoyable experience and will definitely be coming back again :)

Food was good. Service was bad. Was not a busy day for the restaurant, tables were not cleaned up around us. Service was slow, no silverware, when we pointed out the lack of attention they got offensive. Sad as the place looks decent.

Worst service and hospitality ever. The staff was slow and ignored us most of the evening. When we addressed that, we were offended and bitched at. An experience I have never had in any restaurant anywhere in the world. PLEASE AVOID!!!

The worst service. We had to wait a very long time for our drinks. Additional orders were not possible as we were ignored in an almost empty restaurant. After we pointed this out to the manager that evening, the tone became rude and arrogant. The store has never heard of hospitality and unfortunately our friend's birthday dinner turned out to be a disaster.

The venue and food was lovely. However the service was very slow, the staff seemed rushed and didn't remember all the orders. When we wee shown to our table, there were dirty dishes still on our table.

Apparently a properly pulled pint. Bartender then suggested I’d drunk some of it. When one of the other customers looked shocked he took it, topped it up slightly and slammed it back at me. Food might be marvellous and the other staff brilliant.

We visited for a midweek bottomless brunch. Found it to be of decent value for what you receive. We were well served they top up drinks very frequently. The food is just so / so but is nice enough. The venue is nicely decorated and the general atmosphere was pleasant. We had a lovely lunchtime into afternoon. We would return to this restaurant again it’s a thumbs up from us 😊.

Wonderful night and vibrant atmosphere. The food and drinks were exquisite. To top it all off the staff were kind and exceptional especially Markel who served us through the evening. He had a positive attitude and is merry as a high horse.

Working in town, I’ve often enjoyed a meal or drink at this establishment with friends and work colleagues. I’m often served by Markél, who has always provided myself and my entourage with excellent service and perfectly crafted drinks.

Great cocktails, bar staff markel sorted me out, said strawberry bon bon drink is nice and sweet as im not a big fan of alcohol, the bacon hamburger i got was so nice and the fries amazing, i actually was surprised by them and more then enough amount of salt.!

The service was attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious, portioned well and had a lovely presentation. The surroundings were stylish and appeared good quality. However the music was a little loud and didn't fit the feel of the venue to us and so a star was lost for the effect on the atmosphere.

I went to the lost and found after walking past it a few times prior. It has a great atmosphere and awesome food. My server was Donya, she provided excellent service with a smile. Very friendly and welcoming, as we where a walk-in for dinner. We had a few questions about the food as it was our first time, due to my friend not being able to eat dairy. Donya provide us with some good recommendations. Food was fab, service was impeccable.

We booked through First Table and the food and atmosphere was great. The service from Zarina was lovely and overall great value for money!

A group of girl friends came for the bottomless brunch offer on a busy Saturday afternoon, one of our Servers/,Waitors Daniel was very attentive and helpful

Never left a review before but the food at this restaurant is some of the worst food that my girlfriend and I have ever eaten in our lives. There was no seasoning used on any meal. Everything we ordered was bland and cold. Chicken was dry and unseasoned. Potatoes were undercooked and lukewarm at best. Mac and cheese was sloppy microwaved food with no flavour. Yet the worst thing there was the garlic bread. Not a hint of garlic and terrible quality bread. Even the pornstar martini was too sweet. Best thing I had was the water. Atmosphere was terrible too as the place was deafeningly loud. The servers were friendly but it was still a 45 minute wait for food. If you’re looking for a good meal, I would definitely advise to avoid this place at all costs.

Fab place for us having last drinks before heading off home after a birthday wkend celebration. Genevieve behind the bar was very helpful with our choice of non alcoholic drinks for the driver and also the places to sit as some are for dining and we were just here for last drink will defo pop back if we come back to Birmingham 🍸😍

We came to celebrate our 7 year anniversary. When we arrived the girl that was sorting out our booking couldn’t find it so called over another server. When they finally found it we were sat for our bottomless brunch. A young girl with dark hair was our server and she didn’t pay any attention to our table at all. We ordered cocktails with our food. Our food came over but still no cocktails so we asked her where they were. An hour! An hour later we were still waiting for our cocktails. So we asked a young mixed race lad with blonde hair if he could help us. He dropped everything he was doing to give us good service. He was very polite and helpful, he brought over our drinks. The girl who was ment to be serving us was nowhere to be seen so we decided to pay the bill and leave. But not before tipping the young lad. He truly Deserves some recognition for helping us. But I don’t believe that paying £70 means that you get ignored by your main server. I understand that the place was busy as it was a Saturday, However your customers shouldn’t be ignored and left to fend for themselves. We probably won’t be coming back!

I booked a table for two @ 5 to dine as it is walking distance to a venue we were a attending @7 The food and drinks that we had were delicious and the wait for our main was reasonable, i found it sometimes difficult to get the attention of a staff member to order and I ended up cancelling my creme brulee dessert because it had simply taken far to long and we needed to leave. The waitress did come and apologise for the wait but after another 10 minutes we decided we could not wait any longer

Main course took too long to arrive and wasn't even cooked properly. Had to wait a 2nd time whilst staff sorted the issue out. Very dissapointing!

We celebrated my friend’s hen party here. Everything was perfect…the food, service, Markel on the bar! A lovely private area, stunning decor and great vibe. Thank you, for a fab evening.

We went in last week for some drinks after shopping during the daytime and were served by Klaudia. She took the time to notice we were looking at the cocktail menu as we were sitting by the bar and came over to us to offer help in choosing. She knew everything about the menu and also offered to amend the drinks to our own specific taste She was really excellent and brought the drinks over for us and it made it a really personal and exceptional experience. Thank you Klaudia - we will definitely be back and next time we will eat aswell!

A great evening at our American Football end of season awards, hosted by Lost & Found. Private room (The Secret Room) was absolutely gorgeous, and staff couldn’t do enough for us! Special mention to Markel who looked after us amazingly all night. Food was delicious. Only a couple of kinks in the night which were there was not enough tables or chairs to accommodate the party, I had communicated that the size of the party had grown since our first communication and was told this would be altered along with the food. When we realised there wasn’t enough chairs, the staff were amazing to rectify the problem and help us all feel more comfortable. One main issue was no beer/cider on draught and and a very small amount of bottled beers/ciders at the private bar which meant that the poor singular bar tender had to keep running back and forth to the main bar for this. Even after a walkie talkie was issued there was still some delay and issues with this. Had we known before or during the night, we definitely would’ve informed the team and told them to make alternative choices prior or to only use the main bar. Markel was amazing to us with this and insisted on us getting the drinks we preferred and ensured he or a member of staff got these promptly for us. Special mention to him for all of his hard work & hospitality throughout the night. Overall it was a perfect evening and definitely a venue to consider for our future events. Thank you very much!

Food was delicious, as were the cocktails and the staff were so lovely. As soon as they found out I had allergies they checked in regularly and all my food was marked up, really appreciated this attention. Only criticism was the music was pretty loud for when you were dining, at 6:30 I wouldn't have expected it to be at that kind of volume, but still had a really great evening.

The website is very misleading the pictures of the restaurant looks so nice like a nice fine dinning restaurant but when we arrived it was giving Pub/Club vibes the music was Way to loud you couldn't even hear the staff talking to you let alone the people your dinning with. When we asked if there was a chance you could turn it down we was told No! within 5 mins we was getting a headache and just knew we was not going to enjoy eating a meal In that environment we could understand if it was like 8/9pm but it was only 6pm the fact that we had to SHOUT EVERY SINGLE WORD TO TALK WAS A JOKE!!! and it was only 6pm and we came for a nice meal and cocktails with friends not a night at the club. The Tables where we was to close together and people kept bumping there chairs in to ours when getting up. Not a great first time vist.

We went for lunch following a work meeting. The venue is beautiful, the service was good and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

First time visiting this 'restaurant'. Had a table booked for 5:45pm. Food and service was 5star!!! Staff working very hard! Venue was beautiful! We just did not expect to have the music booming so loud while we were eating. Could no hear what the person next to us was saying, let alone the rest of the group. We had a drunk hen party dancing round us while we ate. Wud be great as a night out venue, but not what was expected when having dinner. Small dining area and large bar area so venue seems a bit confused. Would definitely come back on a night out.

Dark, so so dark. It's the worst thing trying to eat in the dark. It was so loud also, we couldn't hear ourselves speak. It was my girlfriends birthday, so a real disappointment. As for the food, below average at best on my part. My girlfriend had the smoked salmon starter and seabass main. Both were well presented on some lovely Churchill plates. She said both dishes were tasty. Mine on the other hand wasn't great at all. I had the Buttermilk chicken to start. A mammoth portion to start, the coating wasn't crisp at all, it was soggy and not sticking to the chicken and there was a mountain of micro herb garnish, which I'm sure wouldn't of been costed into the dish. I was looking forward to my main course (from how it read on the menu) - Lamb Mixed Grill - Huge disappointment! Bland, bland, bland....the kofta and sausage were all overcooked and dry. The lamb cutlet, again bland and so so chewy. Not enjoyable at all. The flatbread was tough. The houmous was ok and the sour cream with harissa, couldn't taste any harissa flavour. The entire dish fell very short in all aspects. I raised my thoughts on the mixed grill with the young girl who served us (she was very nice throughout by the way), but she responded by saying she'd tell the kitchen and that they've had ALOT of comments similar to mine about the mixed grill, so maybe a dish review or certainly some training required to nail what is essentially a very simple dish to execute. Done well, would be lovely. As mentioned, it was my girlfriends birthday, so a really disappointing experience all around from what is aesthetically a lovely looking venue.

I came with my friends for some birthday drinks and a meal yesterday. We had great service from the team, in particular our waiter Ronan who recommended some great cocktails. Loved the picante margarita and aperol spritz. This will be our new go-to for girls night!🥂
