Excellent place for food, they serve all day which worked perfect for our plans today. Brilliant choice of food and drink and it was all lovely. Thank you to Shirley who was so kind and helpful and always had a smile on her face. Will come again

Visited for Sunday lunch. Very accommodating and helpful. Catered for Coeliac with ease. Shirley was lovely and most helpful. We'll certainly visit again. Very reasonably priced too.

We met our friend in Okehampton and thought it would be nice to have Sunday lunch . We arrived at the pub earlier than booked and Shirley said it was not a problem . She was very friendly and helpful with dinner requests. Sunday dinner did not disappoint at all , the veggies were lovely along with the meat and massive Yorkshire puddings. Shirley and all the staff were friendly , the dinner was tasty and excellent value, bonus was the free coffee which was also lovely. I would recommend the London Inn for dinner and would return on my next visit to the area.

Great Bar, friendly staff Shirley was very attentive and the mid week roast was delicious, very generous portions, cooked to perfection. Would definately recommend.

Shirley made us feel very welcome, and we were acknowledged as soon as we walked through the door which made us feel valued nothing was to much trouble for Shirley we had a roast dinner which was exceptionally good and good value for money will be going back soon

Sunday lunch with our friends. We all really enjoyed our Sunday roast at this very dog friendly pub. The food was excellent and was brought to us by Shirley a lovely lady who could not have been more friendly or helpful. What a treat we will definitely be back. Absolutely brilliant.

Lived in the area for 13 yrs and this is the first time I’ve visited with friends and family. Wow what fab food !! I will definitely be recommending to guests and I will be returning. Staff are wonderful, polite and friendly and nothing is too much trouble Desserts are scrummy,! The free coffee is also a bonus !! !

A venue just chosen online which turned out to be a gem! A proper pub (with an open fire), a pleasant inclusive ambiance with young families enjoying themselves as well as regulars. Shirley was our barmaid and waitress. She was friendly, efficient and attentive. The local real ales were excellent as was the Sunday roast. A bonus was the bill, which was very reasonable. I would highly recommend The London Inn to all visitors to Okehampton.

We pre booked a table and reserved the fish as we know that it's popular and sells out. The food was excellent as always and the service brilliant, Shirley was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed, was happy to take our drink orders at the table and bring them too us. 20 out 10, will definitely go back

This was super freinds place for both man and dogs, the server sherly was super friendly and caring Prefect breakfasts both full English and full vegetarian.

Lovely friendly atmosphere, always warm and welcoming. Great selection of bands on Saturday too! Staff are always very attentive in particular Shirley and Sally are always there there to greet you with a smile!

I couldn't compliment the roast enough whether you're sitting in or having it to take away. Really couldn't fault it!

First of all - this is not part of a chain but independently run - yet they provide food at a high standard for low prices day in day out. Even without the scheme it's what I would class as cheap, well worth more than they charge! Simon has now got a great team to support him as sometimes they are full to capacity for hours - which only goes to show you how popular they have become. Long may it continue.

Have been to the London inn on many occasions and have never been let down by the quality of food. Always amazing. Peri peri burgers are just something else. Staff can never do enough and portion sizes are generous. If you’ve still got room after try one of the deserts again you will not be disappointed. The price for the quality of food won’t be beaten.

Brilliant local pub with friendly service. The food is freshly cooked and excellent quality at very reasonable prices.Throughout the lockdown Simon and his staff have worked so hard to provide the community with great takeaways (the breakfast is awesome) and the food is always spot on. Perfectly cooked and superb value for money. Sunday roast.. Order the pork.. Its brilliant. Just don't ask for pineapple on pizza.! Support your local pub, they work so hard and really do a fabulous job.

I've visited this pub many times over the years, mostly for sport as it always has a great atmosphere. The live bands at weekends are always a good night too. Tonight I saw they where doing social distance collection on burgers and decided to treat myself and they didn't disappoint, proper burgers cheese and bacon, deliciously seasoned fries and of course the usual friendly service.

I regularly order food from the London Inn and it is always exceptional. Great price and great service too!

Have had 6 Sunday roast dinners in as many weeks & tonight I had a stacker cheeseburger with bacon & seasoned fries - all of which have been excellent. I just cannot fault anything. Roasts are lovely & hot with a good selection of veg & also comes with cauliflower cheese which is gorgeous. Burger came with proper cheddar cheese - not the plastic slices like you get at McDonalds or other similar places. Would recommend to anyone.

Simon and team have been offering a delivery service on food during the lockdown. I ordered a roast and it was delivered to my door. Delicious and still hot too. He will go out of his way to cater to any requirements and has even been offering free meals to people in financial hardship during this time. Highly recommend. Keep up the great work guys.

I visited The London Inn for Sunday lunch with my wife and two children Last Sunday. The staff were very friendly, we chose to eat in the cosy family room beside the main bar and kids are well catered for. The roast was excellent value for money, nice portion size and plenty of meat all served by a very child friendly waitress. Finally the beer prices were also very reasonable, well below normal pub prices, if you visit here you wont be disappointed, good Job London inn team!

Celebrating a friends birthday we headed down to The London Inn, there was a live band on that were brilliant, we danced the night away on a large dance floor, the drinks prices were definitely the best in town. The service was second to none even though it was busy. Fabulous service, fabulous venue, fabulous night.

Great friendly pub and staff, loverly full Sunday roast and prompt with veggie options will be back.
