We went to the London Gin Club on two occasions during a visit to London. On the first one, we took the gin class. This class was great! There were two of us, and we joined a group of about 10 others from around the world (Sweden, the UK, America, etc.). The class took place in a pleasant room in the basement. The facilitator was extraordinarily knowledgeable (and opinionated!) about gin, and he was also very funny. We learned a lot about the spirit, how it’s made, its different types, etc. The class included a G&T, a martini, and a few samples; it was a fun time and a great learning experience. The class also included food; the cheese and snack platters were beautiful. On the second one, we had drinks in the bar. The cocktail menu is, of course, gin forward and has a number of cool options. You can also have a classic G&T; they have a huge menu of gins from around the world and take pride in pairing your selection with the ‘right’ tonic and garnishes. The atmosphere was fun. The only downside to the bar was one of the servers, who was a sort of performer and a little over-the-top in how he made himself the center of the attention (versus the guests). But we still had a fun evening. Would return for a class or a drink.

We didn’t have a reservation but got lucky as we stopped in right when they opened. Normally you have a two hour limit but we only had one hour since we didn’t have reservation. The service was outstanding and the drinks were amazing. We are whiskey drinkers so our gin knowledge is limited but it wasn’t a problem, as the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and walked us through several choices. Make reservations and don’t miss this place if you like gin or want to learn about it.

We had booked a table for two for a couple of drinks before going to dinner, Although the bar was only half full, we were all packed down one end. Tables are incredibly close together, music was awful. Gin was good - but we felt it was all pretty overpriced and gimmicky

You’ll get an ok G&T or follow the formula cocktail at quite the price. They have a great selection of gins, but the ‘expert’ advice apparently offered on the menu (and that may have been there when this place was the ‘Gin Star’) has been completely lost and is non-existent, replaced by inexperienced transient staff with no real interest in the bar trade. For example my wife’s cocktail was spilt everywhere when placed down losing about 1/5 of the drink. A complete accident, but just leaving the now short drink there with no remake, instead just half mopping up the spillage isn’t what you’d expect at £15 a pop and £3 worth on the table/floor/my leg!!!!!! The bill still came with 12.5% service on, typical of the ‘it doesn’t matter service as you’ll need to ask to remove it’ approach to service that is all too prevalent! It’s ok if you fancy a G&T, but don’t expect any advice other than to direct you to the top end of the menu and accept the pricy drinks! Many better places nearby! So it’s not an unpleasant place, but follow your own advice and be prepared for the price. My advice is that there are plenty of better options in the area.

Venue is nice. Menu seems ok Very inattentive staff who also don’t seem to know much about gin. The female waitress was friendly, the male waiters seemed utterly clueless. They all spent their time chatting while guests were sitting at tables with empty glasses. We left after one drink as we just couldn’t be bothered to fight for the attention of waiters in a more or less empty place on a Friday night. I doubt this place can afford people sitting with empty glasses. We could easily have spent much more money there if the service had been good. We also didn’t receive the snack we had ordered.

We went with my friend to the bar to get authentic experience and we enjoyed it a lot. The atmosphere is cozy and wonderful Lidia who works there helped us to chose the drinks and told us a lot about the different flavors. We were very lucky with Lidia and the place. Highly recommended.

Fantastic selection of diverse gins and wonderful tasting menus. Definitely worth a stop if anywhere near the SoHo area.

The man, Shane/Shaun/Sean who served us, was the most wonderful soul. He was attentive, bubbly, friendly, and made the experience far more special than it would’ve been had he not been there. Unfortunately after an embarrassingly public verbal altercation between another worker and our lovely server, (unsure of the details but it appeared another table had left without paying their bill, and Shane/Shaun/Sean was getting the blame) the atmosphere became less than welcoming. The manager in particular was extremely unprofessional, telling the bouncer to “get them out and kick him (the server) out as well!” We and the server were treated very unfairly (the original altercation was nothing to do with us in the first place!) and the server was visibly upset. We had spent a great deal of money in the establishment and would not have done so, had it not been for lovely Shane/Sean. I would expect a manager to treat his staff better and therefore, simply because it soured the night, I would not recommend The London Gin Club in future. If poor Shane/Sean finds he is now unfairly without employment, we hope to meet him again on his new venture, hopefully with a wonderful, encouraging manager behind him who knows how to appreciate his best asset. If the rate was for Shane/Shaun/Sean, it would be “Excellent” but as it’s for the establishment in its entirety, they don’t deserve more than “Terrible.”

Went here last night (23rd April 22) with a group for a hen do. At first we did wait a while for service as the lady told us she kept forgetting, but then sean/shawn/shaun/ or maybe even Shane? Sorry if you're reading this! He noticed and said we wouldn't be waiting anymore, which we didn't. We were only going to stay for one but ended up staying all night, he took care of the hen and just knew how to pitch things with us and what night we wanted. His knowledge of drinks was second to none and he paired drinks to our individual tastes. This meant we got gazeboed and we were very happy with that. The manager/other waitress were less than interested in us, which is a shame. They were at times unprofessional and I don't they treated their staff very well as they were having heated discussions in front of customers. So for Sean/shaun/shane it's a 5 star review. For the manager and the "situation" which was being blamed on him it's a 2. Overall drinks were good when he took over and got us them, decor OK, toilets not so great but they did the job. We wouldn't have stayed for more than one/two drinks if it wasn't for our lovely server.

Shaun (or Sean) made our night!! When we got there one of the waitresses repeatedly told us she’d ‘be back in a minute’ to take our drinks order. It was busy but by her own admission she kept forgetting. Shaun recognised this, jumped in and promised we wouldn’t have to wait for service again all night, and we didn’t. He. Was. On. It!! Talking us through the drinks list, advising different gins and cocktails based on taste. Drinks packed a punch and were enjoyed by all with a great variety. We were on a hen-do, only 7 of us, but he helped our ‘hen’ complete some tasks she’d been set and was clearly going above and beyond for us and other groups around us. We were only planning on staying for one or two and then moving on, but instead we stayed all night with a drinks bill over a few hundred pounds, and that is testament to just how fantastic he was.

Tijdens onze trip naar london hadden we een bezoekje aan The London Gin club geboekt. Als grote Gin-liefhebbers keken we hier absoluut naar uit. Jammer genoeg mochten we niet binnen omdat onze zoon van 14 erbij was Regels zijn regels, alle begrip daarvoor maar dit had wel ergens vermeld mogen worden tijdens onze reservatie. iemand van het personeel stuurde ons naar een andere Ginbar die ook van dezelfde eigenaar is met de melding, daar mogen jullie wel binnen, ik zal hen verwittigen dat jullie komen. Eens daar aangekomen bleek dat we om dezelfde reden niet binnen mochten én dat niemand de zaak verwittigde dat we langskwamen. Een groot stuk van onze laatste avond in London viel daardoor in het water. Zeer jammer! Geen aanrader wat ons betreft!

During our recent travels to London we visited The London Gin Club. Tom and Sean did and amazing job to make us feel like home. The welcoming and friendly attitude complemented the experience with amazing Gin and Tonics. Our first visit was such a great experience that we returned a second time to the same great environment and welcoming experience. We were a group of eight that had an hour or so to kill between visiting Ronnie Scotts (30/01/21 )and our dinner booking and had been recommended the London gin club. We were swiftly seated after the 2 bartenders rearranged a few tables for us....

One of the few places left in Soho that still feels local and authentic, not crowded by tourists with pre-mixed cocktails. Friendly atmosphere, great quality drinks and accommodating staff. Thank you!!

Impeccable service at this Gin Club, the variety is astonishing, but the taster boards are just excellent. We only wanted one drink but stayed for 3 hours. 130 varieties of gin, of which I only tasked 3 so will be back for the 127 types...

The home page of their website shows the hours the Gin Club is open. It’s not easy to find out that it is in fact closed for remodeling. We made the journey for nothing. How many other people have they offended by not clearly stating...

Popped in without a reservation at 5.30pm and they managed to squeeze us in for an hour to enjoy a lovely 'Dam Shame' winter cocktail. I would recommend you book if your heart is set on a table as it's not huge and was pretty popular. The service was great - Can recommend and would happily return.

Lovely surroundings, cosy atmosphere, friendly staff, but only half a bottle of tonic for drinks that cost £9.99 f(or more depending on the gin) is disappointing. I asked for more tonic and this wasn’t a problem, but why don’t they offer you the whole bottle in the first place so you can make the choice on how much you need? People may not be aware that you can ask for more tonic.

Stumbled across this little place with my mum on a recent trip to London. Whilst we haven't booked (keep forgetting London on a Tuesday at 5pm you require to have booked places!!) we were squeezed in by the Australian hostess! This hostess was brilliant, really helpful and attentive even with a mass of people to look after. Both mum and I had never been to a gin tasting club but we are now converts! The gin was amazing, the atmosphere was incredible and overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!

The bar was totally fully booked on a Saturday afternoon. There are hundreds of differnt kinds of gin in the menu. The personnel were very friendly and helped us to choose a gin tasting menu and it was perfect. We stayed only for the tasting, and left because the place is not very cosy for sitting a longer time.

I found this bar after a quick google search for gin bars in London. So pleased we booked, went for a 1.5 hour slot. We both did a gin tasting menu for £27 each, 4 gins, tonic, garnishes each. Service was fab, glasses refreshed for your next gin without having to even ask! Found some new gins I love! Would happily go back to try more!

We booked The History of Gin session which was fantastic. The lady who took the session was so knowledgable and we were totally enthralled with all the different stories. Loved tasting the different gins through the different periods. Can’t recommend it enough and I’m not a gin drinker.

I'm not a gin person, but I am now. Excellent tasting experience. We had a 2 hour slot. Be sure to arrive on time. Due to cancelled trains we were 10 minutes late. On the dot of our 2 hours coming to an end we were asked to leave, despite not finishing our drinks. Also there is only one toilet for ladies and one for men situated down a very steep spiral staircase. These are my only criticisms. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

First, let me say the person who greeted us was fantastic! I made our reservations online and accidentally made them for Saturday night instead of Friday. We didn’t realize our mistake until we walked in the door. The place is super small (May seat 40 or so at most) and it was, of course) packed. I explained we were leaving London the next day and wouldn’t be able to come back and she said, “Then we just have to make sure you get a table tonight.” She scrambled around and 10 mins later we were seated. We did a blind tasting and it was fun trying to figure out what garnishments should go with which gin. You get a reveal card at the end and we didn’t get any right, but who cares?? When you make your reservations, it will ask when you plan to leave...and I noticed them asking tables to wrap it up (we hustled out so as not to be asked to leave). I’m sure the small space makes it necessary to stick to a schedule to get all reservations honored. Truly a London gem if you are a fan of gin!!

Gleich zu Beginn ein Hinweis: The London Gin Club sollte man so früh als möglich besuchen, weil und da kommen wir zum einzigen Manko: Sperrstunde ist um 23.30. So ging sich für uns nur ein Gin aus der sicher 150 Sorten umfassenden Gin Karte. Eine jede Gin Sorte wird mit den passenden Toppings serviert und ist mit 10 Pfund (bis auf die Premium Sorten) auch preislich sehr fair.

Went last night for a friends birthday. Was soooooooo not disappointed. This is a great bar. Great service and more importantly absolutely value for money. The owners clearly know there stuff as it shows in the gin menu. Cannot wait to go again. This is definitely a gin diamond in London.

We visited on a Saturday evening, even though we missed our reservation time by 1 hour due to train delays we still managed to get a table after a 10/15 minute wait that we spent examining the menu in the bar.

I signed up for the History of Gin experience for my husband who loves gin. I love tastings (wine, beer, etc) but hate gin generally so I wasn't sure what to expect. The presentation was fantastic with lots of great history and bits of trivia and I loved how the gins we tasted fit into different historical periods. I didn't love all of the gins but I learned to appreciate the different styles and my husband loved it. The class was held in a WWII air raid bunker which made it even more fun and the host was great.

The gin experience was great even though I'm only an occasional gin drinker. Everything was explained very well and our server was very helpful. We had the cheese board to nibble on with our gin and it was delicious. A little on the pricey side, but then so is everything in London. Still a great experience, worth a visit if you love gin...and even if you only 'like' gin.

We had amazing service from a girl called Bron- so thank you to her! However, 35 minutes before our table reservation was due to end the manager (?) started saying within our earshot that we needed to leave. This then continued every five minutes where she would point at us, be rude and continually make us feel like we were unwelcome. I honestly have never witnessed such poor service and manners- not only to us, but her colleagues who were acting as the waiting staff. She basically chased us and started pointing at a clip board while we were paying. It is such a shame as the variety of drinks on offer is AMAZING. But who wants to go if you’re feeling like you’re being kicked out before you’ve barely sat down. Whoever you are that was overseeing tonight’s service- you’re a disgrace to the industry and positively awful to be around- I begrudged paying for my time there. If you would like to keep customers I would look at a change in some of your managerial staff, as I would now not recommend.

Where do we get the phrase Dutch Courage from? What was London and England like to live in when gin was an every day drink? You can find this out during the interesting and fun hour and a half tour at the London Gin Company. Don’t be put off by the outside as this only adds to the tour. You get to taste various gins in this space of time and get shown how to taste them to get the flavours. Really fascinating and the lady who ran our tour made the whole thing interesting. Thank you for a good and informative afternoon. The accompanying picture was our table only! Bit of a sore head the following day.

My husband found this place on line when planning a day out in London. It is in a tiny old pub with only a dozen or so tables. The gin menu was amazing and took at least 10 minutes to look through. We chose a cocktail each in the end but could have chose from the tasting menu which give 3/4 different gins with tonics to try. They also have a snack menu which includes pies! Very busy and interesting place with knowledgable and friendly staff. Need to book because of popularity.

During our last trip to London, me an wifey took a fancy to Gin. Our curiosity was fueled by tasting a couple of never before seen (by us) Gins in a bar near our hotel in the City of London.

We really enjoyed our visit. Loads of character in this venue. Large Gin menu to choose from and advice from the servers.. We were only allowed to stay for an hour which is novel. You should book to avoid disappointment. Friendly place with a great atmosphere. Close to Oxford Street.

The Gin Club succeeded in making my husband who most definitely has always enjoyed a single malt or a pint of Guinness - truly appreciate Gin! The most fantastic collection of Gin sourced from all over the world, the beautifully curated tastings and the old world charm of The Gin Club must be savored atleast once if not more by all Gin and non Gin lovers. It is a delight!

As gin lovers we found a true gem of a gin bar in the 400 gin bar. This is only a small bar with limited tables. You can book a table which is advisable, we were fortunate enough to get a place.

Amazing place with over 400 different labels of gin. They really know what they are doing. Friendly staff, very helpful and willing to explain if they asked so. I will come back!

We visited here one Saturday night and had the summer gin tasting menu. I have never seen a menu with such a choice of gins! The waitress had a great knowledge and seemed passionate about gin (who isn't?!). We were given four mini bottles, two glasses, the menu, instructions and garnish. We tried gins we had never heard of, and loved 2/4. The experience was really good fun.

Obviously serves gin (!). Huge variety. Very good quality and a lot of brands that you won’t have heard of. Some gin tasting menus, which looked fun.

For those who are curious or passionate about Gin, this is the place to visit in London. More than 300 varieties of Gin on the menu and a friendly staff that will help you picking the right one.

Had a really fun evening trying different gin tasting menus at The London Gin Club. They're not cheap at £27 a flight for four gins, but the measures are generous, served in lovely glasses with delicious accompaniments, and with fever tree tonic. All of the staff were extremely well versed when it came to recommendations. I will definitely be back. Good spot for a first date, or for old friends. Would recommend booking as there are not too many tables, and it was full by 6:30pm. Food menu is quite limited, so would probably go for drinks/snacks only.

Tuvimos una experiencia absolutamente maravillosa en el London Gin Club. Mientras que sólo un pelo de la forma (que se consideró un plus) la experiencia de cata de gin es informativa, informal y divertido. La camarera era informativo y servicial en guiarnos a una gran experiencia de degustación. Si wan para probar algunas tareas ginebra, vaya a la London Gin Club!

Visitamos durante nuestra estancia en Londres. No había pensado en tener que reservar y cuando llegamos estaba lleno, pero afortunadamente no tenía una reserva apareció y fueron lo suficientemente amables para darnos su mesa. Probamos una de las opciones de menú degustación el gin" y fue realmente agradable con ellos mezcla nosotros mismos y comparar los diferentes sabores. Este es un gran concepto y sin duda merece la pena la visita, pero sólo está dispuesto a pagar por la experiencia, ya que no barato.

Took my wife as a birthday present seeing as we've both recently got the taste for a gin or two. I opted for the 'History of gin' tasting experience and can not praise it highly enough. It's 90 mins long during which you get to sample 5 gins...4 of them straight and the 5th with a tonic. The experience also starts with a gin cocktail which is later worked into the story...so I guess you get 6 all in.

Brilliant presentation including tasting gin representing gin through the ages. Very engaging, funny, highly educational & great atmosphere. Well worth every penny. See also review of meal at the bar that followed.

Came here for pre-lunch drinks with friends. Small, cool venue, celebrating gin. Most of us, opted for the tasting menus; great fun. If you like gin you will like this place. Would recommend booking as it was very busy.

Última noche llegamos a este hallazgo anoche, y así nos alegramos super había reservado una mesa, ya estaban llenos (reservando es imprescindible y no dejar de girar hasta oportunidad! ) nos llevaron a nuestra mesa y menús dada y nuestro camarero llegó casi de inmediato. Para ser sincero, no sé lo que pedir y para comenzar nuestro camarero no fue de mucha ayuda, pero cuando le dijimos que estábamos un poco vuelto aturdida que nos guió a través de nuestras opciones. Fuimos a un menú de degustación que consta de 4 Gin, 4 guarniciones variadas y dos botellas de tónica. Este resultó ser el más divertido :) y sin duda lo recomiendo. Después de oír que habíamos terminado un cóctel gin. . . Strawberry fizz. creo que se llamaba y era super bueno. Hay un gran ambiente aquí - todo el mundo está aquí para probar la Ginebra y tienen un precioso. Y nos encantó que había un pub antiguo en el lugar y no fue del todo"". poshed Sin duda volveremos.

He estado aquí un par de veces y nunca me ha defraudado. Fantástica Ginebras, personal amable y tengo un amor especial por el hielo rock que utilizan en el globo de vasos. Yo sólo he estado en un gin o 2 pero volveremos para una degustación de comida.

Queríamos probar diferentes tipos de Ginebra, así que probé el Gin Club. Es un concepto interesante. Dividimos 8 tipos diferentes de Ginebra de seco para florales. Te proporcionan un vaso con hielo y se puede tener ordenado o con fiebre la tónica del árbol. Es una gran manera de probar diferentes tipos de ginebra. Servidores servicial y amable. Reserve una mesa en línea con antelación ya que es un pequeño lugar.

Fun evening at the gin club. Plenty to choose from, Gins clearly described so far as flavour and strength goes and paired appropriately with accompaniment. Very busy, you need to book. Well worth a visit

Visitado como un regalo de cumpleaños de mi esposa, después de una discusión con el muy conocedor personal tuvimos la ronda la cata mundial, una gran experiencia ginebras y 2 muy agradable de pasar horas aquí. Recomiendo una visita aquí a cualquiera que ama hay gin. Reservamos una mesa antes que yo recomendaría como el lugar estaba lleno el sábado visitamos.

This bar has one of the best gin selections I have seen. The menu was extensive and the waiter was really helpful in advising which gin would be best to have with my choice of tonic. Good to see that Fever Tree tonic was used as this is my favourite. Drinks were good value (all drinks are served as a double and in a balloon glass).

Amazing choice of gins, friendly staff, quick service, great ambient and atmosphere! Deffinetly my favorite place to have nice G&T; in Soho!

Viajando por landres decidí probar este sitio por recomendación del taxista, todo muy bueno y precios razonables a la ciudad en la que estamos.

El ambiente en este lugar es precioso, parece muy acogedor y a pesar de estar lleno durante nuestra visita, no pareció caótico o de hacinamiento.

Table service; lovely food; SO much gin; great staff; fab decor - one of my favourite places in Soho to spend an evening: I take everyone here! Definitely get a tasting menu/flight as it works out as being really cost effective; if in doubt as to which one to try, ask the incredibly knowledgeable staff.

Das Personal war so freundlich das wir gleich wieder gegangen sind. Geben Sie ihr Geld lieber dort aus wo sie auch erwünscht sind. Guten Gin gibt es in London an sehr vielen tollen Orten.

Nos encontramos con el London Gin Club por casualidad y nos arriesgamos en conseguir una mesa. Fue imposible (sin reserva previa) incluso en un miércoles por la noche, pero la señora tierra encantadora nos encontró algo de espacio en la sala de espera donde, en un par de taburetes altos, pudimos probar algunas maravillosas ginebras. Aunque no es la más grande colección de ginebras que me he encontrado, había suficiente para planificar múltiples viajes de regreso. El personal es agradable y eficiente y las bebidas están bien presentados. Sin duda volveremos en nuestra próxima visita a Londres.

My wife loves her gin. So on a weekend away in the Capital what could be better then a visit to the London Gin Club? We went for a tasting menu each and it is great value. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable. Only too happy to provide as much, or little tonic as you want. We spent well over 90 minutes sampling some lovely drinks and certainly will return

Showed up on a Saturday night and luckily due to a cancellation was able to sit at the bar and was then moved to a table. The staff were completely lovely and helpful and the the place was stylish and beautifully designed but also completely unpretentious. The name is apt, plenty of gins to sample!

Reserva aquí en el último minuto como una sorpresa de cumpleaños. No puede llegar a la experiencia de cata, debido a la notificación tardía y ha sido completamente lleno. Sin embargo, conseguimos una mesa para 2 horas y no los menús de degustación. El personal era encantador e informativo - Bien hecho Club gin london por hacer de nuestra tarde!

Booked a table as recommended when planning a trip to london. Glad we did as the bar was completely full when we left. Quite small, but there may be seating downstairs???. Great idea that they bring all the separate ingredients to your table on a board and you make your own drink. Got us discussing the gin more than just drinking it!!!!

Husband and I came to London for the weekend and book a 90 min slot here. Staff were so friendly and answered all our confusing questions easily. Gins were delicious and we were made to feel like real connoisseurs. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Not really sure what to expect. Looked a bit dodgy from the outside as an old pub right next to building works hoarding. When we got in it was a lovely traditional place. Staff were excellent and gin menu and tasting options were great. All in all a nice night out. Food was limited and a bit disappointing but great atmosphere made up for it.
