Recomiendo :-)

Visit on average once per week, always fresh and tasty, but limited number of dishes, more of a tapas bar. Small upstairs restaurant, only about 20 seats, and only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Could do with having a "specials" menu, which changes weekly, otherwise mostly the same dishes each week for regular customers, although flavours are good. Also need clearer (bigger, brighter) sign that they are open.

For our sports Christmas meal this year we wanted something different from the traditional Christmas dinner. So the tapas alternative for 20 of our friends made for a pleasant evening. The food kept coming and was of a good standard. Nothing was out of place and everything was cooked perfectly. This is a nice addition to the food scene in Llandeilo. Would highly recommend.

Recently dined at this fairly new addition to the Llandeilo area. I agree with other reviewers regarding the entrance door and steps which do no not do justice to the lovely room you dine in. There is a limited choice on the menu which I would describe as plus size tapas with a more local feel. We had four small plates which were more than sufficient for our needs. My only complaint was that the chips were not what we usually expect from triple cooking but still lovely while the sweetcorn frittas were fantastic. The service is relaxed but incredibly friendly and it is so nice not to be upsold items that you get at other places. I would love to give this place five stars but I think its still a work in progress. On a personal note I would have preferred another choice that added more depth to the taste buds such as a red meat dish that would have complimented our excellent house red wine. These points are merely small niggles and I wish the staff the very best - when next in Llandeilo will definitely be returning.

This hadn't long opened, don't be put off by the entrance door and hall, as you go up to the actual dining area and bar it's a fantastic little place, beautifully decorated, great ambience, tapas plate type food, 6 of us shared 3 sharing platters and ordered a side dish each. Good wine selection, largers San Miguel. Lovely deserts ! Party of 6 absolutely no complaints at all thought it was fantastic all thoroughly enjoyed, this a little hidden gem in Llandeilo

Wife and I were going to go to the ginhaus over the road but it was closed. We were delighted to try The Loft. Friendly welcome, intimate setting with nice fairy lights. Nice selection of tapas type food and Spanish wines. We had 2 sharing plates which was ample with a very nice Prosecco. Happily go back

Tucked away up a stairway above Rosettas Restaurant, It only opens Thursday, Friday and Saturdays evening but is well worth a visit. Welcoming, enthusiastic, if slightly amateurish service (made up for with the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to please). The Menu has some dishes to share as well as normal Tapas, although not all Spanish, goujons, satay and tempura prawns appear, but are all well cooked and well presented. We ate here twice in 7 days and were very happy with both meals. The place has a nice 'feel' about it.

Only eleven items on the menu but each one freshly cooked and very tasty. Served as 'small plates' so there is an opportunity to taste several items in one sitting. Although reasonably priced individually the cost soon mounts up if you are hungry!!! Very friendly and welcoming staff.

We were staying in the area for a few days and went twice as the first time was so good. We tried a lot of the small plates. Food and service superb. Price was very reasonable. Be warned, it is difficult to find as the entrance is a single door and then upstairs.

Very good tapas restaurant with relaxed bistro ambience. The menu is not extensive but there certainly is an interesting choice. My wife and I selected five dishes between us and they were all pleasant. Other dishes served to other dinners looked good too, so we will be sampling them on another visit! Although there were only three deserts, I can confirm that the hype around the chocolate brownie is justified!

I arrived without booking and rather late. But the staff and owner were more than accommodating. Restaurant was full and the atmosphere was great. Food was sent out in a good time, I wasn't waiting for long and the quality of food was good. Staff were very friendly and I'd definitely visit again. This is a new establishment and I hope it continues in the way it is going.

We were fortunate to book this place for our Christmas dinner as they hadn't actually fully opened! So considering it was early days in this lovely establishments life we were really surprised! Food was good considering there were around 30 of us all eating at the same time. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was just right. Early days for the loft and a few teething issues to be sorted but if this place gets time and a chance it could be really good for the town!

I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open ! I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this ! It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still ! The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele! Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! Lol x Thanks for all the care the staff gave given me since moving to Burry Port/ Pembrey. South Wales. Th

A very comfortable room, with friendly and helpful hosts. A choice of breakfasts either cooked or continental. We had the continental which had a large warm croissant and a lovely selection of fruit, together with homemade yogurt which was delicious. Everything you would want in a B&B

Plenty of parking, I liked the layout which didn’t put you too close to other diners and not cramped, amazing views and good ambiance, the service was spot on and the food was of a very good standard, plentiful and all arrived hot and beautiful presented. My first time visiting here, definitely won’t be the last and I highly recommend it to anyone.

We (family of 3) visited on 4 July (see facebook) and could not believe our eyes when we walked into The Clock Tower on Market Way in Carmarthen. This place was a paradise for hungry vegans serving pizza, pasties, cakes, cupcakes, biscuits, chocolates etc. The variety and choice was quite overwhelming. You have to visit Absolute Treats to get an idea of how much different types of food there are here. There are a wide range of flavours to suit all palates, so get on down there. Well worth a visit and check out their website. :)
