The Lodge Tavern in Ealing

After a hard full days work, came in for food which was amazing would highly recommend, then left and came back a few hours later still in work cloths but they let me in even though there policy is smart casual, real good place lovely drink and food and real good dj, such a welcoming place will be back again

Couldn’t thank the staff and management enough was late back from work looking scruffy and even though there dress code is smart casual they let me in, there service food and drink is 10/10

I visited this evening and had food and drinks.. I had Mexican burger and chips which was amazing and cooked by the wonderful chef (who might i add is a sweetheart) and served by the lovely staff who always make me feel comfortable and welcome… also the reason I always come back to visit the lodge..

Came in late at night, they were one of the few restaurants willing to serve us. The food was delicious, our group tried many different items. They were also willing to make a special order due to dietary preferences. Will return when back in town.

Love the staff and atmosphere here on a Saturday with the resident DJ and drinks well priced and a nice range to choose from.

Vibrant and joyful place as usual. Only worry me that music didn't change for years. Come on, there are good tunes made in last 20 years.

Good bar, good prices. Had to pay for entry after 11pm.

Food was good. Staff were amazing and friendly. The music and the atmosphere once the dj came in wasn't what I expected. Hardly anyone in whilst the dj was on. Also wouldn't recommend the chicken skewers. Was bland and dry when served.

Good for spilling over from the wetherspoons nearby. Younger and more vibrant crowd at times.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. I apsolutley love coming here. Drinks are delicious and staff are always kind and polite especially George and Laura who go that extra mile. If your stopping in Ealing the Lodge should definitely be a place where you go.

The worst meal I’ve ever had We had a meat platter the steak was like shoe leather the only meat on the platter that was ok was the ribs but cold

Charged me a fiver just to come in. If there was a live band or a half decent DJ I wouldn't mind, but there wasn't a great selection of drinks, and most of the clientele seemed like wannabe gangster types, dripping in gold chains and fake designer clothes. I ended up paying over £7 for a run of the mill beer and leaving, just as security were dealing with some Eastern European troublemaker. Not really my kind of bar.

The head bartender is always warm and gives good customer service.. the main seating inside is comfortable..the only thing id say is the outdoor seats need a cover due to wear and tear but one of my favorite places in Ealing

I visited on the 4th January and was very shocked that at 2240pm the bar was closed and I couldn't by a drink for my 5 friends and I. I asked the staff managing the bar, why this was happening? Especially, because there was at least 15 people still sitting and socialising?? Very disappointed!!!! Think twice, if you want a enjoyable, no rush evening with friends.

Don't usually give 5 stars, but it's worth giving. I have known this pub for decades, how it's survived the covid and recession I'll never know. However, I was with friends, and we had a great time catching up while staff service was excellent, and food drinks were outstanding.

Very rude security backing up their own people from the same country they can abuse people and security backing them up I don’t advise anyone to visit this place it use to be good but not anymore

Popped in on Mojito Monday! Very good quality drinks and amazing price at £7.50. The outside area is super comfortable and secluded although it's right on the street. Inside the pub is rather special...lots of sumptuous leather seating, a lovely bar and it's spotlessly clean. Service here is fantastic, friendly and efficient. Don't judge this book by its cover, it's surprisingly fab all round. Food is also well priced, a good size and decent quality, definitely coming for another visit! Comedy on Tuesday nights as well.

Fabulous little place, we called there for a meal before heading off to a gig. Lovely atmosphere, very laid back and chilled, there was an outdoor seating area with lights and comfy seats. The gentleman serving behind the bar was very friendly and polite, was recommending different ciders to me and our food was out very quickly. I got the seafood platter which was amazing, prawns, calamari, crispy fried whitebait, smoked salmon and garlic bread. My dish came with tartare sauce and a little mixed salad which was refreshing and crisp. My partner got the home style chicken burger which he loved! He particularly enjoyed the chips. Our two mains, along with a cider and a lager came to £36, so excellent value for such good quality food. My one issue would be that the bathrooms are very much in need of a facelift but that's my only gripe. We only stayed in Uxbridge for one night but we've already decided that when we go back, this place is our first stop for a meal! Highly recommend!

Food was really nice and fresh (one little thing if you could please change the brand of the condiments as these are dreadful). Service especially from the tall bartender is absolutely amazing!

Do check out their tuesday comedy night, a very good surprise! I went with 4 friends to check out their comedy night, some hilarious acts. Extensive cocktail menu, The one tested was mixed very well. The group ordered food: burgers, vegetarian platter and grilled salmon, everything was tasty but kitchen was struggling with service. The bat team was super friendly and made sure we were looked after, super friendly team. The ladies room was very clean (a detail but important). I am looking forward to visiting again, probably for another comedy night great laughter!

Just had a drink but it looks like a nice place. They got ready for the night with a DJ and good music. Nice palm tree on the terrace, it seems like they can keep it warm on the terrace as well. We will come back and try the food!

Fab pub. The staff are very welcoming. They speak to all their customers. Ruby (the Manageress) has her finger on the pulse. Yes the food did take a while to arrive but we didn't mind that - we were told that the food is all cooked to order and it was truly superb. The drinks are excellent and a bottle of wine is very reasonably priced. We will be back on our next visit to Ealing - which will be in about another 2 months. Thank you. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with you.

We were on vacation in London staying at a nearby hotel and wanted to check this place out. We came in around 5 PM for an early dinner. It was very good! The burger was excellent, the steak was fine, but the best order was the lamb chops. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely recommend!

Since comin to uni it has been hard to find a nice chill place to drink till I found this amazing place. The staff made me feel welcome and on my second visit still remembered my name. It’s hard not to take my my friends here and leave this great atmosphere. Top class :)

The service was lovely, all the new staff and management were really friends and accommodating. The food was delicious, I ordered a steak and it was cooked perfectly to my preference. We were meant to come just for dinner but ended up staying all night because of the amazing atmosphere.

Lovely environment and friendly staff, very welcoming and always there if you need anything. The food was wonderful and I had no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend it to anyone in ealing looking for a place to relax and have a meal.

We went to The Lodge Tavern and Rubz did an amazing desert with Dj Chef Khalid!! Strawberries...Passion fruit and Orange....icecream with a drizzle of honey mmmm what an absolutely desirable dream 😍

Used to come here years ago. Amazing place it was. Later on, so so... came today, beautiful lady, forgot name, sorry.. very colourful, very positive and new manager, short balck hair. She made our visit super welcomed. Hope this place will come back on the map soon

Lovely pub, lovely staff, lovely food, lovely beer. In fact, it’s all just lovely and the comedy night is cracking.

I've sometimes come to this place over the years the cocktails are good and night life decent. However this Saturday there was a lady not sure of a name however she has a sleeve tattoo working behind the bar really made it a night to remember. 5 stars

Came here for lunch whilst working in area. Great spot, decent steak, good beer and friendly welcoming staff. Great looking venue and if I was local I'd come here loads and also check it out at night. I'll definitely pop back in when I'm next in Ealing Town.

This is the place to be! Popped in for some food after a uni tour and what a place! Ruby was so welcoming and very funny making us laugh throughout our time (not had that in a while) very informative of the place the food was lovely also I really enjoyed my time at the lodge tavern 😃

This is a really fabulous place. I was there for the comedy on Tuesday and the atmosphere is really nice, and the staff are so lovely and friendly. As well as cocktails they also do a selection of nice hot drinks. Here is a picture of my hot chocolate - it’s actually vegan (although I am not. You didn’t need to know this 😂).

Won’t be back. There were no customers apart from us and we waited almost 40 min for food. Had veggie burger (meant to have bean patty but was soy) and seafood platter. Honestly the only thing that had some taste was chips. Drinks might be ok here but food is one of the worst I’ve had. The floors are super dirty, looks like it’s never been swept. We came during day time so could see it. Perhaps if you come for stand up comedy at night or drinks, you won’t notice.

What a throughly enjoyable afternoon... From the moment you walk through the doors Ruby (Staff) was so welcoming; ambience; child friendly (my grandson); comfortable; AND, the food 😋 delicious and fresh ... My family and I would definitely return and highly recommend. THANK YOU 🙌🏾

The comedy every Tuesday is the most fun you can have in London for no money.

Kind and helpful costomer service, they were kind enough to help out of the services they provide. For me it going above and beyond sometimes to meet a costomers needs when it arises. I'll go on to say,the best fried prawns at a reasonable price. I have had.

This Taverna Lodge is a very good place to relax with good food and friendly service during the week and weekend time. I recommend this place for a great time on Fridays and Saturday nights with good music and dancing

I love this place for after work drinks the most friendliest staff two for one cocktails on a Thursday are awsome! definitely recommend the Wray and Nephew cocktails and the stake with the mushroom sauce

Our local for the last 2 years, mostly on 2-4-1 days 😊 Always have a good time there with friendly staff, particular shout out to the lovely Elena who took care of us yesterday. Omg amazing mixologist the cocktails she created for us were like nothing we'd ever had before. Ask her for the one with whisky & chocolate😋 😋 You can thank me later. I spent my last birthday here which always coincides with their Halloween party with is always FUN and a friendly crowd. They go to great efforts with their theme decorations and best dressed competition. Mustnt forget to mention the music too which is right up my street RnB, Afro Beats... Dj D-Zine on a Saturday night is the one. Perfect combo! See u guys soon Jx

I have been to this bar a few times in the last 5 weeks and the manager guy is very accommodating and helpful. One of the staff called Elana has served me on all occassions and goes out of her way in every sense. She caters to your needs and even suggest drinks that she thinks you would like depending on your taste. She will make drinks not on the menu and one of her specialities whiskey, chocolate, etc. Very tasty drink and excellent service from Elena and staff.

£5 entry for 90% ratio of guys who are trying to look cool rather than have fun, not a nice vibe

First time visitor yesterday. Atmosphere was good. Music was great. Price of drinks ok. It was a shame that on leaving, one of the security team decided to manhandle a guest who had picked up his jacket and accidentally knocked over 2 or maybe 3 bottles that were on the table. The treatment of this man was disgusting. If it had been someone who had a temper or a weapon it would have been an even nastier end to the night. Security teams need to use their commonsense. If not able to do that, they should find other employment as unnecessary actions can make problems. I was told that the CCTV would be checked. As far as I know, the individual's details were not taken so will he receive an apology? Thank you to the witness that came forward. It's unfortunate that my review is based on the security but the experience ruined the night.
