...but for the prices you'd think it was. Overpriced food, substandard service, questionable drinks choices. And don't even get me started on the staff. You'd be better off anywhere else in Acton. Except for the Belvedere. That's definitely worse so if it comes down to the two of them, then go to Aeronaut. However Wetherspoons across the road is a much better choice. I mean even the Aeronaut staff go there for drinks 🤣🤣 which says a lot about what they think about their own establishment.

Went with a bunch of friends for my birthday. Had been to the Aeronaut many years previously for their circus night and it had been incredible. This night was a 'game show' night. We paid a not inconsiderable sum (about £25 each?) to enter an empty room with a couple of lame drag artists. Another table got a couple of people arrive. It got to showtime and the room was completely dead, I'd checked with the lady on the door and she said it would fill up. Miraculously, about 10 minutes later a load of people flooded in the door. At the bar half-way through the evening (which was lame, I was right!) I asked a couple of the people at the bar if they'd paid to come in. No, they hadn't. I found the woman in charge and asked for a refund. We were basically the only paying punters in there. I found the policy very disingenuous. Over-charging mugs like us in advance and then letting about 50 people in for free on the night to fill it?! Thankfully, the only positive thing I could say is, they gave us a refund the next day. Left a sour taste though - that was my birthday night ruined at the time.

Came down two nights in a row. Food both times was amazing and the staff were lovely!

Popped over here from the pub across the road, it was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night, which I didn't personally mind to be honest. We had plenty of space to dance and the music was great. Bar service was good and the restroom was really clean.

The entertainment was fab. Went on the Halloween theme night on Sat. Favourite acts were the last two, but wouldn't want to do spoilers for those that wanted to see it in person! Great show to go to. Tickets costs around £33 but went with a massive group. I had the beast mode burger for food but I know the chicken dish was much tastier. Drinks prices were OK and for 3 alcoholic drinks spent around £20.

Fun Bachata dance classes every Tuesday from 7:30 PM and social dancing after 💃

This place is quickly becoming our new go-to. We have been to this pub in its dark days but it has recently been given a new lease of life and they have brilliant staff. This is the closest pub to our home so we are so happy that love and care is being given back to the venue. Catch a show on a Saturday night you won’t be disappointed!

Good hot food. The dessert wasn't something I would ever come back for. Staff was welcoming and polite.

Super cool venue, really well themed throughout. The shows are great and include a variety of acts, which make it great value for money. They drinks are relatively priced and the food is good too,even though the kitchen shuts very early. Love this place, been a few times now and will come again too!

I went there on a Thursday were they say that a main plus a drink cost £12 as per instagram post. Be careful because out of all the beers they have only the Amstel is included in the offer. I had a chicken burger that was small and tasted like a Mcdonald one, but they charged me £14. The French fries were super salty. I went there with the idea of spending £12 and at the end I spent £21. If I knew before I would have never gone there to eat. For drinks is fine.

Cabaret, circus, a rare treat these days! So few places you can go anymore to have this experience - unless you go to the Box (which is unaffordable for the average person!). This show is the same quality, wonderful quirky quality cabaret acts but accessible and welcoming of and for everyone! Such a great night everytime and I really hope they continue hosting these nights for a long time to come. A highlight of our calendar!

Had a massive and great night here a few weeks ago at the Cabaret. Acts were outstanding very entertaining and I would love to go again. The food and drink at the aeronaut were very good and I would recommend this to anyone for a great night out around Acton and it was the best entertainment I have had for a long time 🙂

Food was disappointing, I ordered the haddock which was really dry and I eventually gave up on it. Staff were lovely, welcoming and really attentive so big shoutout to them but I wouldn’t really go out of my way to come back here unfortunately.

An unexpectedly good meal. You can never tell with some of these themed places whether they will be good or not, but the food was excellent. My other half has an extremely large appetite, and he was full afterwards. The menu is limited but fantastic. The place was unusually quiet for a Sunday lunch, but had a fun circus themed interior. Nice and roomy and had easy access for pushchairs. The staff were friendly but a little tired looking.

A perfect idea for an unforgettable evening. great attractions, interesting people. We will definitely go back there more than once!

CIRCUS, CIRCUS, CIRCUS!!! Event at the Aeronaut, What a discovery!! Probably one of the best kept secrets in London nightlife. I was invited by a dear friend to the Aeronaut in Acton to see The Circus, Circus, Circus event, a regular show that is hosted by the extremely talented "Misty" an incredible singer and funny as F%&@ master of ceremonies I wasn't really sure what to expect, but Misty introduced a wide range of unique acts and performers, jugglers, acrobats, contortionist, burlesque dancers, sword swallowers and acts that I cannot even begin describe to you what they do, but each and everyone was just a 10/10 for performance and entertainment. Sometimes dark and off-the-wall, sometimes funny, sometimes shocking and unexpected, but always entertaining. A small and intimate venue that always seems much bigger than it really is. You will not be disappointed, a great night out.

We were there for a packed house for the circus cabaret night. OMG I felt like I had a week's holiday - bizarre relaxed and exciting chaos we could have been somewhere in deepest darkest Soho in the earliest hours. What a treat and cant wait to go back again. The acts were superlative. We will be back. Oh yes...we will be back....

The most incredible circus show! There’s nothing else like this in West London, a highly entertaining variety show with some of the most highly talented and skilled performers!

Nice pub near Acton Town station. We went for a drink and had food. Burgers came with double patties and fresh chips- was ok. At the end we had chicken wings and I recommend this over burger. If you are not a bit fan of spicy food, you should skip wings. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Not to busy for Friday night.

Was just looking to kill an hour with my kids. Bag search at the door for three of us. Explained that the shopping in my bag wasn’t to be consumed in the bar. They didn’t believe me and said I could leave it at the door. Absolutely mental, never heard the likes. Rude as well, what is this place all about 😂

We were absolutely shocked when we saw the bill! Until we saw what we'd actually ordered, apparently we we're thirsty 😏 definitely fair prices! Very good food and nice staff, incredible atmosphere, even the security outside were top notch. Top ratings from Denmark 🤟

A decent bar off Acton High Street. Probably a bit more expensive than you’d hope in the area with two pints being over £13. The garden was but, but pretty empty on a Sunday afternoon. I remember it from the days of being the Redback and it was legendary. Might be more fun of a Friday/Saturday evening, but a bit average truth be told these days from my experience. Not a bad place but I think three stars probably is about right.

Friendly welcome from the door staff We were shown to a table with a highly restricted view of the stage. This was probably the biggest stroke of luck, as we were unable to see the weak compère, the woeful burlesque act, and the least magical of magicians. Five minutes of spellbinding hooking and unhooking hoops? Are we to be amazed by this in 2023? The gymnast twirling around the hoops was supple enough, and the fire eater, whilst far too ample for the latex g string, was not without fascination. Time to go!

I like the atmosphere but please improve the quality of your food. My chicken wings were undercooked, and burger tasted like cheap frozen stuff, not to mention burned bun.

First time trying this pub out n had a great time. Will be returning with a larger group. Chantelle (I think, blue hair) looked after us amazingly. Looking forward to our next visit !

Basic Good offerings and selections of beer and Gins.

Week 2: the booze tube ,around our world on a freedom pass: Measures are 25ml or 50ml so English Isobella was a great host she made us very welcome ,this pub is closer to the equator than our home in Finchley so we had to take off our coats as it was hot. A circus theme to the place ,we tried to dogem but got caught and had to pay the bill Isobella chose our next station on the random app,hello Wimbledon park !

Visited for the Circus Circus Circus event. Great venue, very quirky! Loved the food and reasonable pricing for the area. Would revisit for another event.

Not a great experience today. Whenever I'm in the area I do pop into the Aeronaut for a quick bite or drink which in the past was very pleasant. However, today's visit left me pretty disappointed. Bar staff didn't seem to know anything about beer so couldn't recommend anything. Burgers were out! No ketchup apart from a few drops when we insisted on it for our 6x portion of chips! The aubergine didn't look anything like it was described on the menu and the fish was definitely not the freshest! Very disappointed and I think we'll try another pub next time.

Amazing, huge pub to go to. Loads of seats, very cool atmosphere. Massive garden 🪴 outside sitting area. Heaters do great outside during colder days. Nice music inside and outside. Not busy during week time so can have chill time easily without raising voice while talking. Prices are average and that’s great 😃 as the place is nicer than most of other pubs. Definitely will visit again later on spring time 👍🏻

Came here for a birthday celebration. Absolutely disgusting attitude from the performers. Last year was great but was deliberately singled out and embarassaed by performers unfairly who think they are gods gift. Last time I will be coming to Aeronaut. Absolute embarrassment. I WILL BE LAUNCHING AN OFFICIAL COMPLAINT WITH THE COMPANY ABOUT THE CONDUCT AND HAVE MANY WITNESSES. I have had to leave over fear they wet will continue to unfairly pick on our group. Absolute embarrassment, we are leaving now and expect a FULL REFUND for our troubles. I will take this as far as necessary and take names if possible (one server already refused ro give name) but I will get pictures.

Went their New Year’s Eve the show acts was all the same so got a bit boring they said happy new year 10 mins before midnight that was very bizarre and I queued at the bar and was getting served when they shut the bar before the time they said they was going to so no drink to cheers 🥂 the New Year in !!!! Will not recommend this place to my friends or family.

The Aeronaut pub in Acton is a great spot for a drink and a bite to eat. The atmosphere is lively and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The selection of beers, wines, and cocktails is impressive, and the pub grub is tasty and satisfying. A great local spot!

As a disabled, gay and mixed race visitor I was appalled!!!! I approached the bar holding a menu to be bluntly told by a staff member named “matt” that food was no longer being served. No apology and extremely bluntly whilst walking off. I asked to speak to the man on the front door greeting guests in a suit. To which Matt responded “there’s loads of men in suits” waved his hands and walked off. This was extremely abrupt, unhelpful and unprofessional. I then asked the lady behind the bar to speak to a manger to which she stated “I am a manager” I stated I wanted to make a complaint to which she responded “I can’t be bothered to deal with any complaints” The rude lady was extremely unprofessional and continued to argue with me when a 3rd manager came to assist. Stating “You treat people like dogs” I asked her to elaborate but in a raised and harsh tone continued to verbally abuse. I explained I am a disabled person whom sought out this venue with a lot of thought, even ringing to see if the kitchen could cater to my special needs. I will not be returning and would urge anyone to do the same.

Funky pub decor and what looks like a cool line up for entertainment. Went to a bring your baby pub quiz event. Good space but not a particularly baby friendly venue (no step free access, close parking limited, not enough high chairs available at the event)

I am basing this review on the drinks and the bar . Nothing else . This is a place for young kids and it’s great that they have a big place like this to go to to dance and party and have fun. However , if you’re coming for a nice drink , don’t bother . Halloween Friday night and a young man dressed as a pumpkin was alone behind the bar for a good 10/15 minutes while a few of us were waiting to be served. This poor guy had to take both food and drink orders, put them through the register and then poor all the drinks and also take payment. We all waited patiently as he plodded on. After quite some time waiting a girl with long blue hair swoons in at high speed and my hopes are up . She’s got this ! She’s straight up next to pumpkin and starts helping with the drinks . When it’s finally my turn I order my pint of Guinness and she gets right to it. In fact I have it in front of me in less then twenty seconds . She’s poured it straight out ! It’s flat and awful and she plonks it on the counter asking for £5.75. This time I pay up through gritted teeth because it’s Halloween and I am not in the mood to argue . I drink it with sadness and dismay . When my friend arrives she gets us two bottles of Sol as we thought it a safer bet . This place is where young kids go to have fun and they don’t care about taste or quality. Here it’s music and fun that counts . Fair enough but not a place for me or anyone thinking it’s a regular pub where staff know their drinks . It’s pour and serve quick that matters here.

Really chill atmosphere here. I think they went to a lot of effort to make it feel welcoming, chilled out & intriguing. Lots of nice features but definitely not over the top. Staff are friendly and laid back, but service is always fast. Food is delicious. Really nice garden. Haven't tried the late night events or circus show yet.

Bottomless brunch here is amazing. They had top notch service, the drinks were flowing and the staff were fab. Would highly recommend!

Went there last week with friends for a circus show. The place was packed! It's a spacious pub were several shows take place regularly. Very nice staff and nice patio at the back. I'll definitely be back!

It was our office BBQ party and it was really nice

Night started well , quick service and the food was very nice . Ladies beware!! This is not a circus!! There to celebrate a young lady’s birthday, was not expecting to subject her to a strip show !! Not Burlesque as the staff tried to tell me when I complained . I felt extremely uncomfortable and looking around the room, many of the ladies did too . This is a venue for a stag night not a birthday or date night. We left before the second half as apparently more Burlesque acts!!!! Completely ruined our night !

Huge pub that also doubles as a late night cabaret venue, huge space and massive garden, used to be the redback, so can still pull in a late night crowd on the weekends. Average food and drinks. Nice staff.

My experience was terrible the food was disgusting and so expensive. Took them ages to get our food but we couldn't eat it. We ordered fish n chips. My friend had a burnt burger awful and very expensive.

Shockingly bad meal at the Aeronaut. It used to be good food here but not anymore. The menu is completely uninspiring. There were no children's options apart from fish and chips. The fish and chips came with the mushy peas missing. We asked for the missing peas and they turned up freezing cold, straight out of the fridge. Wife ordered a chicken burger which came without the aioli sauce and with fat chips instead of skinny fries. I ordered a rare steak which came well done and without the chimichurri sauce (instead some tasteless luminous green liquid, which I still don't know what it was). Sent the steak and the mushy peas back. The steak came back fine but the peas never materialized again, neither hot nor cold. It should be a basic ask that we actually get the food we have paid for shouldn't it? When ordering had asked to swap chips for salad which was apparently impossible? The chips that did come out on all the meals were overcooked and looked like they'd re-heated from earlier. Won't be going back there for food again. This would be a 1 star review if it were not for some of the staff offering a few free lemonades and ice cream for the children by way of an apology, which was appreciated.
