You always receive a warm, friendly welcome at the Living Rooms. The food is excellent, fresh, home cooked and very reasonably priced. Their home bakes are amazing too.

Set back from the main street and behind the Bervie Church building. A warm, clean and friendly atmosphere. Coffee shop opened Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Excellent selection of homemade food for light lunches BUT very pleased to have had GLUTEN FREE Soup. Very small child friendly, which we saw and experienced. An outside entrance from The Living Rooms Christian Centre goes into an incredible public gardens with a Maritime theme. Well worth a visit

Friendly staff, good food. A good welcome. Conveniently placed not far from the main street but still secluded and quiet.

Whilst revisiting Inverbervie yesterday and having a walk around we came across this lovely little place. We popped in for drinks. My wife opted for a latte, whilst I ordered a hot chocolate. Service was quick, staff/volunteers were friendly, and the place looked clean. They offer quite an assortment of food - from the lighter things such as cakes, to the likes of sandwiches and baked potatoes, soup was available, and for hungrier appetites they had a couple of mains on offer too. Prices we thought were quite reasonable. They also offer a takeaway service. A nice little find.

Been coming to the Living Rooms for years. Good, basic homemade meals (soup, baked potatoes, sandwices etc) and great homemade cakes and coffee. The staff are all friendly and sociable. The cafe is part of the centre which is Christian. However you would never know this as religion is never mentioned and as an atheist I appreciate this as I wouldn't want a cafe where I was being preached to. A great place for kids too ( kids menu and play corner) and to relax.

There are two soup to choose from everyday. Never just boring standard lentil soup. Some days, you get mushroom stilton, some days butternut squash with chorizo, some days cauliflower and the list goes on. A huge bowl for just 3.80 or you can go for the huge combo with full sandwich of your selection complete with for fruit and crisps or salad for just 7 pounds. The people who worked there are mainly volunteers and are so friendly. There is a little section where children can play. Kids of all ages enjoy the books, toy kitchen and various toys. Finish off your lunch with their gorgeous home made. The chocolate cakes are to die for

A hidden gem in Inverbervie - a small cafe run by volunteers - you would never know. The food is fresh and very tasty - I always recommend the soup ! The portions are generous, and they are quite willing to do substitutions if you ask. Gluten free bread available - great for my mum! Puddings and cakes are to be savoured. As it is right next to the Primary School it can be a little bit boisterous during the lunch hour as mums often take the kids there for lunch. A real heart of the community -!

So pleased this place was open during the quiet season. I've never passed without stopping off some some food. The staff are lovely and on my visit before this one, I was on the motorbike and I was experiencing the British summer.....sheltering from the torrential rain the time passed by quickly thanks to a friendly fella manning the gift shop and some nice food. This time I just made it in time for a full breakfast - very welcome after being blinded by low level morning sun all the way from Inverness then dodging the ice in minus 6 degrees C once I hit the ski roads. Bloody marvellous! proper sausage, the black pudding was really tasty and everything was hot. I managed to bag an extra fried egg after many apologies from the lady serving me that the chef had managed to burst my yolk twice so they put both on as an a sorry. I ordered a black coffee which was one of those espresso machine jobbies I really hate for their harshness but this was pretty god. I didn't realise they did cafetieres until the very well spoken gent on a nearby table asked for one! Next time then. Love this place, makes the dreadful quality of the roads seem worth it...in such a remote area it's a gem and the prices are good, too!
