Can't grade the food didn't know they served food so maybe advertise more on that end brilliant customer service and good prices for drinks

Good prices, friendly staff, the only issue I had was customers standing outside bringing the smell of weed back in with them. I have re-visited since making the original review and the the problem seems to have been dealt with.

Didn’t get one of the bar staff name but young lady with dark brown hair, absolutely amazing just like all other staff! First time here and will be back, welcoming pub and brilliant drinks and service! Well done guys!

Horrible place and manager bone idle. Update: place has improved with new managers apparently, but shame it's spoilt with people vaping inside, still not great place. Thanks for replying, I get it's hard to police these things, but there was a bloke standing behind us on Saturday with a few others and he was puffing clouds of it out, that's we why we left. But I can see that a lot of effort has been put into the place since I was last there 👋 Same

Great staff, tasty and reasonably priced food and drinks. Large TVs very distracting.

I went in and thought The Liver was a great little place. The beer garden is a nice touch for kids and everyone seemed to be friendly and decent. Next time, we'll give the food a whirl.

The first time here put won't be the last.food was excellent, and the outside was good for the kids.

Not bad but beer has gone a bit down hill. Madri although I know is the old Carling tasted a bit bitter nearer the end.

It's not an old farts pub like when I was young. Now I know what they were complaining about. Noisy. Too many infants. Edit: In responding, the "team" missed the compliment. They also missed the phenomenal amount of foul mouthed, loud VAPING INDOORS, overly yelling clientele, who obviously arrived 6 hours early for the football. Shame quality of service was excellent but went downhill when independently criticised.

Really poor service. Rude and agressive andstaff shouting at people asking why the advertised game not shown. The liver responded to my original feed back with lies. Couldnt even apologise for not having the advertised game on. No understanding of customer service at all. Much better pubs a short walk away.

My daughter didntbgetbwhat she ordered they just brought something else without checking first no apology no money back for differance didnt seem to be any organisation no one seemed to be taking charge to sort things

Went into The Liver a week back. It was a great experience and great atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone who were looking for a family friendly pub and will be visiting again soon

Haven’t been in here in over 20yrs but it’s still an excellent place to go food was amazing and service is quick.

Nice relaxed atmosphere you can go outside in beer garden its well lit and heate didnt have food

Kids Christmas party was brilliant. Staff are so lovely and food was great. Kids had a brilliant time. 2nd year in a row and can’t wait for next years.

Popped in for lunch of fish and chips. It was delicious. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice clean toilets. Calm, relaxed atmosphere.

Had a roast dinner was absolutely amazing last min I asked the cook her name was Sharon well done Sharon amazing roast will be back again

Visited with friends on Sunday, had a lovely Turkey dinner with all the trimings. Service from Sharon was excellent. A happy smiling lady whom was very helpful. See you next Sunday👍

We didn't order food on this visit. It's been a very long time since we last visited and we were well impressed how lovely the venue is. It was nice and clean and a pleasure to be in. The staff were very friendly. We only had a couple of drinks but will definitely be coming back to sample the lovely smelling food

Nice pub, dog friendly, small playground for kids, decent pints and reasonable prices. Can wait a bit when busy. Good beer garden, sometimes noisy with kids being kids. Never tried food, looks good though.

I waited for 2 hour for a desert Service was poor and the food was very Expensive for 2 people and the portion. and even my dying Grandma can cook better. Go to wetherspoon cheaper and friendliness and the food is pretty good 👍

Had to get a refund because we never received food after a two hour wait, nobody comeover to collect the glasses neither. Plus kids playing football kicked the ball right at us spilled all our drinks on us

This place is a joke. No Carling lager, no bread and butter. One girl serving the whole pub on a warm, sunny afternoon. Ordered fish n chips. After a lengthy wait (by which time I had no drink left) I was given scampi n chips! No thanks. Eventually they got the order correct but the fish, chips and peas were all of varying temperatures. Hardly surprising. My wife ordered gammon (rubbery) and egg (hard). Amateurish, woefully understaffed and totally unprepared for the holiday season which will soon be upon us. To be fair though, the fish was well prepared and quite tasty.

Rancid steak served. Waited 1 hour 15 mins for food. They refunded my sister for the steak. I would never eat here again.

Good food, reasonable price, good service

Beautiful place outdoors but the vegan burger was bad. The bun was very very dry, the burger was overcooked and the vegan cheese missing.

First time here, would definitely come again, good atmosphere, nice and friendly, good garden, loads of tv screens, very clean

We hadn't been there for about 10 years because of a bad meal BUT thought we'd give it a try as we were going to the cinema the meal was EXCELLENT, shall be going again. On today's meal I give it 5 stars. Let's hope next time is just as good. The meal was piping hot.

Best Sunday roasts in liverpool!

Came here for a saturday night drink. Nice atmosphere, the beer garden is lovely with nice lighting. Live music also.

Fairly friendly, tho limited draught cider selection. Nice outdoor seating area.

Really nice pub, great bar staff, very friendly! Inside is a bit jaded but still nice. The outside is superb though, nice berr garden with trestles and good tables and heaters on hand to keep you warm. Plenty of tables too and a play area for children. Plus san miguel! Outstanding.
